Lake Bell In Jenni Kayne - 2013 'Take Home A Nude' Benefit Art Auction And Party

Lake Bell attended the 2013 ‘Take Home a Nude’ Benefit Art Auction and Party at Sotheby’s in New York City yesterday.

The actress kept to a straightforward style with her Jenni Kayne Fall 2013 black, strapless tunic and pocket pant, which she accessorized with a metallic statement cuff and mini-clutch.

The easy separates lost a bit of their effortlessness due to the sheen effect and the bunched look of the rolled pant leg that just seemed ill-fitting.

That said, she did maintain the ‘nude’ theme with her Kurt Geiger ‘Britton’ pumps and her minimally styled hair and barely-there makeup.

Lake Bell In Dolce & Gabbana - 2013 ESPY Awards

Lake Bell attended the 2013 ESPY Awards held at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in California yesterday evening as one of the guest presenters.

The actress wore a dark-green Dolce & Gabbana signature lace dress with a sweetheart neckline and scalloped hemline, which she styled with a black-and-blue Edie Parker ‘Jean’ clutch for an interesting contrast.

Black-and-gold ankle-strap sandals and a hot-red lip colour completed her look.

Lake Bell gave us a sultry pose on the red carpet at Elle’s Women in Hollywood Celebration, held at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills, California, yesterday evening.

She was one of the many stars who didn’t opt for Calvin Klein; instead she wore an Etro Fall 2012 dress.

Her paisley-print dress with a sheer yoke and black sleeves isn’t my favourite look from her, but she is working the hell out of it.

I would’ve preferred her look if the sleeves had been sheer or had the same print as the dress presented on the runway.

A simple satin clutch and black criss-cross sandals completed her look.

This is the first time I have seen Lake’s flame-coloured hair and I have to say it’s really working for her – and I’m one who takes a while to accept change.

Sporting a new flame red hair colour, Lake Bell joined Christina Hendricks on the red carpet at the 2012 Creative Arts Emmy Awards on Saturday evening.

The actress was smouldering hot wearing an Andrew Gn brilliant blue gown.

I wish Lake had opted for a silver Jimmy Choo ‘Tube’ clutch, instead of gold, to complement the crystal beaded embellishment on her gown, but the gown is so gorgeous I can barely focus on the clutch.

A selection of Pomellato bangles, a statement ring and a simple updo completed her look.

I would’ve loved a smoky eye with this look, but Lake opted to go au natural.

Lake Bell was the first to wear this strapless Basil Soda Spring 2011 dress to the ‘No Strings Attached’ LA premiere last year.

She teamed her form-fitting dress with nude Brian Atwood ‘Zenith’ pumps and kept her hair simple with natural waves.

Christina Milian wore the same dress to Roc Nation’s annual pre-Grammy brunch at Soho House in West Hollywood, California, last weekend – exactly 13 months later.

The dress has more va-va-voom on Christina, but I don’t like the length, or her shoe choice which disappears into the carpet.

Lake wins for me.

Lake Bell joined Kate Bosworth on the red carpet for the ‘Black Rock’ premiere during the 2012 Sundance Film Festival held at Library Center Theater in Park City, Utah, this weekend.

The actress wore an Andrew Gn Fall 2011 dress.

Her teal fitted dress with a square-cut neckline was paired burgundy Brian Atwood ‘Power Studs’ pumps which we’ve seen on Michelle Monaghan and Blake Lively.

The dress is great, but the styling lacklustre to say the least. The lack of makeup and the messy ‘just got out of bed’ ponytail are not working for me.

She might as well just worn jeans and tee if this was all the effort she was going to put into her look.
