Last year we saw Demi Moore wearing this Chanel Spring 2010 cute mini tulle dress on the set of her Harper’s Bazaar shoot, but it’s Rachel Bilson who’s brought it to the red carpet.

The actress looks cute enough wearing this baby-doll dress, but both the hair and make-up look the exact the same as the daily candids of her collecting her dry cleaning and shopping around Hollywood.

Shout if you think this is a BDOTW contender, because I think there’s been far better candidates.

Olivia Wilde wore an Alberta Ferretti Spring 2010 dress which had been lengthen from the runway.

I think – know – she should could have pulled of the shorter version with her gorgeous legs, so part of me feels tad disappointed.

I love the dress itself with the contrasting colours and textures.

It’s very event appropriate.

Her look was completed wearing a pair of Jimmy Choo Nova sandals from the 24/7 collection and a matching snake-skin clutch.

Ashley Greene – I believe – is the first celeb to wear a Pre-Fall 2010 look on the red carpet, which only prove how much being taken seriously in the fashion world.

The Twilight star wore a pale lemon J.Mendel Pre-Fall 2010 dress with a sheer yoke, pleated bodice and a draped detail cascading from the waist.

I love the dress and the colour is divine on her, but I really dislike the matchy matchy colour of the clutch and earrings.

Champagne peep-toes complete the look.

I adore Jenna Dewan’s Paule Ka Spring 2009 sweetheart strapless dress with blush brush stroke details.

I love the volume on the runway picture, which also shows us that the dress has a solid black back panel.

The matchy matchy nature of her heels works better for me than it did on Ashley.

Lisa Edelstein pops up every now and then on the red carpet, and every now and then I say wow.

This is one of those wow moments.

Her Emilio Pucci Resort 2010 dress is exquisite.

The embellished details around the empire-waist stop it from looking very “St Tropez”.

Had BDOTW not been so packed should would’ve been in contention.  I might try to squeeze her in.

Lake Bell flashes a rare smile at this event. Maybe she was promised some diamonds *winks*

The gorgeous actress who still looks stunning with minimal make-up arrived wearing a black and white strapless Lyn Devon Fall 2009 belted dress.

Black patent pumps and a white clutch completed the look.

As cute as Dianna Agron looks in her peachy dress. It’s a bit to Disney for my taste.

Her gold criss cross heels are from Bally.

Gare Du Nord Train Station, Paris

I love it when Victoria Beckham is in Europe, as we get to see so much of her.

The fashion designer was spotted hopping off the Eurostar at Gare Du Nord station in Paris earlier today.

The woman famed for wearing sunglasses this time hid behind her Loewe Pre-Fall 2009 hat, whilst wearing a black leather trench coat, Trib Two’s and Loewe Paloma 29 bag which we’ve seen her carrying before.

Only VB would dare sport this look.

“The Imaginarium Of Doctor Parnassus” New York Premiere

Lily Cole certainly has the legs to pull off this striped Jean Paul Gaultier Fall 2009 Couture short suit.

I just don’t get the matching thigh-high boots.

Women In Film & Television 29th Annual Muse Awards, New York

America Ferrera looked stunning wearing a Proenza Schouler black wool cut-out dress.

I love everything about this look from the cut of the dress, to her beehive hairstyle and her metallic peep-toes.

She may tend to wear a lot of black, but she always looks so well put together.

“It’s Complicated” New York Premiere

Lake Bell always looks so sexy, even when she’s not trying.

The actress smolders wearing a Narciso Rodriguez royal blue crepe dress with the trademark criss cross straps.

Her look is paired with Narciso Rodriguez black suede strap sandals, and bubblegum pink lips.

“Late Show With David Letterman”, New York

Rachel Weisz also opted for a pop of blue wearing this belted dress with flutter sleeves.

I love the look, but the peek-a-boo bra distracts me from loving this look.

I searched all over and couldn’t find anything modified on Donatella Versace’s Spring 2010 strapless blush gown.

I guess her mantra was in this case, ‘if it ain’t broke why fix it?’

I would go as far as to say that I prefer this gown on Donatella, because the bodice is more tightly fasten giving Donatella a stunning silhouette.

Shakira got the honour of wearing a gown from the recently presented Atelier Versace Fall 2009 collection.

The gunmetal gown had a corseted bodice which reduced the singers already tiny waist, before skimming her famous curves and revealing her sexy legs via a central split.

Leather details accented the strapless gown, which looks great on Shakira but fails to wow as I would’ve expected.

Despite Lake Bell wearing a simpler gown I love the way she totally owns this look.

The colour is divine on her olive skin and the cut accentuates her toned figure.

Taylor Momsen wore stunning nude Grecian Versace Fall 2009 chiffon gown embellished with metal details around her waist.

I love the gown, but hair and make-up pour cold water all over this look for me.

She could have laid off the heavy eye-liner for one night.

Nothing surprises me about Alexa Chung’s look. The ankle boots were very much expected.

I’m just glad she’s not wearing them with a beautiful gown.

Mischa Barton is already quite a broad shouldered girl, so I was surprised she picked the only gown from the Versace Fall 2009 collection which would highlight her broad shoulders.

The sapphire blue is beautiful on her though.

Lisa Edelstein may not have been wearing a Versace gown, but her Pamella Roland Fall 2009 black gown was just as a elegant as the rest.

I love the black velvet spiral detail around her waist and the bejeweled strap.

Great look for her.

If this was a model face-off Isabeli Fontana would win.

The Versace Fall 2009 aqua dress is hugging her in all the right places, whereas it’s just hanging off Chanel Iman.

Lindsay Lohan arrived at this event wearing a fluffy pink Versace Fall 2009 coat, but removed it inside to reveal a strapless gold mini dress.

I expected it to be from her recent Emanuel Ungaro Spring 2010 disaster collection, but the gold dress may have been custom made for her by Donatella for this event.

Since Jennifer Hudson had her baby boy we haven’t really seen her glammed up on the red carpet until this event.

She didn’t let us or herself down by looking like a fairytale princess wearing a blush pink Versace gown, which she paired with a matching pink clutch and diamond bracelets.

She was my 3rd favourite of the night after Lake Bell.

Taylor changed into a Versus Spring 2010 mini black dress, as she was the DJ at the after party.

I guess this explains the heavy eye make-up, as it’s much more appropriate for this LBD.

The stockings?? I can’t even go there.

Coco Rocha doesn’t quite ooze that fierceness that she used to, but she still looks gorgeous wearing a black and red floral print strapless Christian Dior Pre-Fall 2009 dress.

Maybe the reason I’m not crazy about this look is because I’ve seen it so many times before.

Also those Christian Louboutin ankle boots still remind me of a horses head every time I look at them.

Lydia Hearst was the model used to present the Marc Bouwer Spring 2010 collection, and I guess she loved the collection so much that she wore a red sequined mini dress with structured shoulders to this event.

Her dress is paired with silver Christian Louboutin Differa sandals and a black clutch.

If you thought Bally only did shoes and handbags, then you were mistaken as Joy Bryant wore Bally Fall 2009 feather print silk maxi dress with an asymmetrical sleeve to this event.

I love the dress, but those clunky brown boots are just horrific.

Many of you complain about Ginnifer Goodwin and Victoria Beckham never smiling, but you should add Lake Bell to that list too.

Not only is she not smiling here, but she looks quite peeved.

A nice smile would have warmed up this cute look, as I love her jacquard dress with a peplum at the waist.

Tinsley Mortimer looks like a real-life Barbie wearing a gold strapless Dior dress, paired with gold t-bar heels and a Jimmy Choo animal print clutch.

Olivia Palmero has said in the past that she’s a Topshop addict.

Well she doesn’t to disprove that fact by wearing a Topshop studded jacket paired with a metallic dress and blue suede ankle boots.

Like Olivia, Nicky Hilton opted for a very casual look for this event.

Keeping the studded theme going she wore a studded vest, paired with a white tank, black mini skirt and Brian Atwood Lola pumps.

Worst Dress Award
We’ve seen this Proenza Schouler Pre-Fall 2009 dress on Anne Hathaway and a sequined version on Amber Valletta. Both were beautifully styled.

Fabiola Beracasa decided to wear her blue snake-skin dress with a feathered concoction to add more dimension to her look, plus suede purple booties and a crazy updo.

Not a good look. In fact she looks quite scary.

You Can’t Wear Those Boots With That Dress Award
What was Agyness Deyn thinking?

She was wearing a pretty nude covered in gold sequined Anna Sui dress but it all falls apart the second she opted for those Marc by Marc Jacobs biker boots.

And just to stick a further nail in the coffin, she opted to wear a leather biker jacket.

I hate this schizophrenic style off dressing. You’re either wearing a cute sequined dress with strappy heels, or you’re a biker chick.

Pick a lane and stay in it.

This really hurts as I love Lake Bell.

Just a tiny pop of colour – even red lips – would have made a huge bit of different in this head-to-toe Louis Vuitton Fall 2009 look.

Looking as somber as she does doesn’t quite help either, plus I feel like ripping those sleeves off.

Nice Dress But…Award
Olivia Palermo wore a beautiful David Meister pink satin dress with an embellished panel on the bodice, and a peplum on the waist, but I’m perplexed as to why she would want to wear this kind of dress when she clearly doesn’t have the bust for it.

She looks like a child playing dress up in mummy’s clothes.

I’m thankful that she decided not to wear her favourite YSL Tribute sandals, instead she wore Topshop Passion Frill sandals.

Now would she please…oh please change that hairstyle.

Worst Posing Award
I couldn’t much focus on Tallulah Willis’ Calvin Klein Resort 2010 off-the-shoulder dress, because all I kept thinking about was pulling her shoulders back.

Bad posture just throws me.

Balmain With Tights Again? *eye roll* Award
I know I’m going to get lynched for this, but I just don’t understand Julia Restoin-Roitfeld’s obsession with wearing such short Balmain dresses then opting for tights.

The archetypal Balmain girl doesn’t wear tights imo. She has the confidence to walk tall in her mini dress, bold and sassy.

That being said I do love her black sequined dress and the Jessica Rabbit silhouette it gives her, but I think less bold runway version would have suited her better.

Fails To Flatter Award
Michelle Trachtenberg wore a very unflattering Behnaz Sarafpour Resort 2009 ensemble. She used to get it right all the time now she’s very inconsistent.

June 9th, 2009

Last night was the ‘Webby Awards’, but with all the long tanned legs on display, it was more like the ‘Leggy Awards’.

Lake Bell arrived wearing a navy Rag & Bone one shoulder dress, with two black panels on the front and back of the dress.

I don’t think this is an easy dress to pull off, but Lake does. She looks sexy, and sassy, without looking trashy at all.

Roger Vivier scoubidou woven patent sandals, and a black clutch complete the look.

Molly Sims loves showing off her golden tan.

On this occasion she glows in a hot pink, patterned sequined mini sleeveless dress, paired with tan Louboutin peep-toes.

Mother of one, Alessandra Ambrosio, opts for the head-to-toe Balmain runway look, including the Balmain Crystal embellished studded sandals.

This for me is a very predictable look for a Victoria’s Secret Angel…

…much like Doutzen Kroes’ Hervé Léger banded ombré dress.

Stylist Rachel Zoe opted out of wearing a mini, in favour of this cold-shoulder ivory gown, with gold embellishments.

I love her lighter locks.

Update: I sent a twitter message to Rachel asking who her dress was by, and I was pleasantly surprised to get a reply. She was wearing vintage Halston.

2009 Fresh Air Fund Salute To American Heroes, New York

Michelle Williams wore a demure ivory one-shouldered 3.1 Phillip Lim dress, with an asymmetrical gold detailed bodice, which complimented her gold Jimmy Choo Frost mirrored leather sandals, and the trim of her YSL box clutch.

She looks divine in her heavenly dress.

Mariah Carey and Michelle are worlds apart, when it comes to dress sense.

After a few events in which Mariah stepped up her game, she kinda takes a few steps back in this white column Georges Chakra Couture gown.

The figure-hugging strapless gown, simple and beautiful, but that embroidered floral panel I really dislike, as it reveals her underwear.

Her gown is paired with Christian Louboutin Amelissa Platform Sandals.

“Star Trek” Press Conference And Photo Call, Mexico

Zoe Saldana’s ivory Bottega Veneta Fall 2009 leather dress, doesn’t have the same wow factor as so many of her other ‘Star Trek’ looks, but she still looks pretty damn fantastic.

I love how her hair is styled, and her natural make-up.

Brian Atwood black patent ‘Maniac’ pumps, complete this sophisticated look.

“The Hangover”, New York Screening

Molly Sims works a tailored look, pairing a Rag & Bone Spring 2009 metallic silver jacket, with cropped black trousers, and a white tank.

Sergio Rossi elasticated strappy ankle sandals, and a vintage necklace add more credit to this edgy look.

“Blood: The Last Vampire”, South Korea

Jeon Ji-Hyun really shouldn’t have worn thick black tights, with her cute white Chanel off-the-shoulder knit dress.

Talk about ruining a look.

Massimo Ferragamo Cocktail Party, New York

Lake Bell smolders in a red, high neck Salvatore Ferragamo Fall 2009 dress, with black accessories.

W Hotel Grand Opening, Florida

Blake Lively keeps her twins covered – for once I hear you say – wearing an angelic white ruched Christian Cota dress.

She looks great with her trademark wavy locks, and purple strappy sandals, which almost match the purple carpet.

LG Xenon Splash Pool Party, LA

Hayden Panettiere is still glowing with her perfect tan, and glossy hair.

The actress looks super-cute wearing a mint green chiffon dress, with strappy metallic sandals.

This look really shows off her softer side, with loose curls framing her face, and flawless natural make-up.

Dania Ramirez wears a Sunner “Florent” combo linen and cotton jumpsuit which I love, but I don’t like her choice of bubble gum pink heels with the look.

“Late Show With David Letterman”, New York

Jessica Biel goes for a low-key, yet still very feminine look, wearing a beige leather mini skirt, which she teamed with a silk navy cami.

She accessorized with an ornate Tom Binns ‘Dumont’ necklace, a Prada denim bag, and chunky Gucci Iman T-strap sandals.
