Lady Gaga In Alaia – 2015 Oscars

Lady Gaga In Alaia - 2015 Oscars

Lady Gaga walked the red carpet on Sunday (February 22) at the 2015 Oscars, hosted at Hollywood’s Dolby Theatre.

The singer, who was a performer at the Academy Awards, wore custom Alaia and Lorraine Schwartz jewels.

While Lady Gaga’s white textured gown was pretty tame compared to her past over the top styles, the boxy, oversized dolman-like sleeved gown was dramatic for the Oscars red carpet.

I do like that Gaga went for a two-toned colour story with red accessories against the white gown–elbow-length red leather gloves and a red floral hair detail, and of course, red lipstick.

What are your feelings on Lady Gaga’s style?

Get The Look: Lady Gaga’s Grammy Awards Metallic Beauty Look

57th GRAMMY Awards - ArrivalsLady Gaga is one artist that is sure to never go unnoticed on the red carpet and Sunday evening’s Grammy Awards was no exception. The seasoned superstar stepped out in a shimmering silver custom Brandon Maxwell gown and sported an equally statement making beauty look.

Celebrity Makeup Artist Sarah Tanno was undoubtedly inspired by the sleek metallic tones of her gown and mimicked those notes in her beauty look. Sarah created a look that emphasized on elongating the eyes and framing them with bold shimmery shadows.

While keeping the rest of the look neutral, Sarah achieve this playful look with these simple steps:

Sarah’s goal was to keep the skin fresh and lit from within. She achieved that brightness by prepping the skin with Shiseido White Lucent Power Brightening Mask and followed by blending Shiseido Bio-Performance Glow Revival Serum to the skin. For further hydration and suppleness, she continued by working Shiseido Bio-Performance Advance Super Restoring Cream into Gaga’s skin.

Once skin was prepped, Sarah blended Shiseido Radiant Lifting Foudation SPF 17 onto the skin from the center of the face out to the framing perimeters.

For a brightening effect along the skin and under eyes, Sarah applied Shiseido Sheer Eye Zone Corrector in Natural. She followed by softly dusting Gaga’s skin with Shiseido Translucent Loose Powder.

For that lustrous defined cheek, Sarah subtly contoured Gaga’s cheeks with Shiseido Bronzer in Medium. She continued to add a natural flush of peach color with Shiseido MAQuillAGE Dramatic Mood Veil Blush in RD100 to the apples of the cheek.

To get that ‘soft metallic shimmer,’ Sarah began by applying Shiseido Shimmering Cream Eye Color in Tin to the lids and followed with Shiseido Shimmering Cream Eye Color in Mist in the inner corners of the eyes.

Sarah proceeded by smudging Shiseido Shimmering Cream Eye Color in Caviar along the lash line and outer corners of the lids for a more accented touch. She set the cream shadow with Shiseido Luminizing Satin Eye Color Trio in Lido. Following with an added layer of drama, Gaga’s eyes were heavily lined with Shiseido Smoothing Eyeliner Pencil in Black and blended upon application.

For the finishing bold touch, Sarah topped Gaga’s lashes with a couple of coats of Shiseido Perfect Mascara Defining Volume in Black.

With such a dramatic look, Sarah opted for a soft muted pout. She defined Gaga’s lips with Shiseido Smoothing Lip Pencil in Hazel and swiped the lips in a coat of Shiseido Lacquer Rouge in Carnelian. A favorite of both Sarah’s and Gaga’s, the result was a soft lip with a satin finish.

Lady Gaga In Brandon Maxwell – 2015 Grammy Awards

Lady Gaga In Brandon Maxwell - 2015 Grammy Awards

Before taking to the stage for a classic ‘Cheek to Cheek’ duet with Tony Bennett, Lady Gaga was on the red carpet of the 2015 Grammy Awards at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California on Sunday (February 8).

Embracing her head-turning, flashy ways, she slinked out a Brandon Maxwell silver embellished gown with a deep front slit, which had Vegas glitz written all over it.

Yet the look still maintained a more sophisticated, reserved spirit—for Lady Gaga, at least, who has far more radical, obscure Grammys looks to her name.

The sparkling plunge dress served to amplify both cleavage and legs, as Mother Monster opted to put both bronzed assets on full display. Not even that stunning Lorraine Schwartz emerald, doorknocker pendant necklace could do much to distract from said assets.

Her platinum-gray, bombshell waves were perhaps coordinated to match the glam gown, with her metallic smoky eye also playing into the shiny colour scheme.

Lady Gaga In Valentino – 37th Annual Kennedy Center Honors

Lady Gaga In Valentino - 37th Annual Kennedy Center Honors

Lady Gaga walked the red carpet during the 37th annual Kennedy Center Honors at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts on Sunday (December 7) in Washington, DC.

Before changing into a galactic and glittery metallic performance number, she swept onto the scene in a decidedly refined number that I happened to love for its streamlined sleekness.

The custom Valentino white gown was an elegant and refined selection for the entertainer, as was fitting for the event. Yet it was also suitably accompanied by the requisite Mother Monster flair, what with a dramatic cape embellished on the inside with a constellation of silver stars.

Of course, it wouldn’t be a Gaga look without her particular brand of exaggerated styling, this time accomplished with a platinum blonde bob, rhinestone eyebrows, and an exaggerated set of faux lashes.

She was like a futuristic Marilyn Monroe.

Lady Gaga In Stéphane Rolland Couture – Bristol Hotel

Lady Gaga In Stéphane Rolland Couture – Bristol Hotel

It’s been a while since I paid any attention to Lady Gaga, mostly because I’m tired of her antics, but for once she looked good while stepping out of the Bristol Hotel on Tuesday (November 25) in Paris, France.

The singer, who was en route to Charles de Gaulle Airport to catch a flight home to New York, wore a red Stephane Rolland Fall 2014 Couture red jumpsuit accented with gold-fringed trims.

There was much ado about Amal Clooney’s Dolce & Gabbana frock worn at the airport, and like Amal, Gaga was not going to be content boarding a long-haul flight in a Juicy Couture velour tracksuit – remember those?

The open-back piece, styled with gold pumps, a bobbed black wig and red lippie, is relatively tame look by Gaga’s standards, especially as she’s been known to do long-haul wearing an Atelier Versace gown.

You may remember that Nieves Álvarez wore this same jumpsuit while attending the designer’s presentation back in July.

Lady Gaga In Alexandre Vauthier Couture – Harper’s Bazaar Celebrates Icons By Carine Roitfeld

Lady Gaga In Alexandre Vauthier Couture - Harper's Bazaar Celebrates Icons By Carine Roitfeld

Lady Gaga attended Moet & Chandon and Belvedere Vodka Toast to Harper’s Bazaar Icons held at The Plaza Hotel on Friday (September 5) in New York City.

I am pleasantly surprised by how much I love this look. Mostly because of the normalcy, but also because of how chic she looks in this sharply tailored Alexandre Vauthier Couture custom tuxedo-inspired black and white ensemble.

She even turned down the antics on the hair and makeup as both were in tune with the sleek look.

Are you as surprised by this as I am?

I hope she keeps this up, but I won’t hold my breathe.
