Lady Gaga In Marc Jacobs – Out In New York City

Lady Gaga In Marc Jacobs - Out In New York City

Lady Gaga was spotted out in New York City on Thursday (June 25).

At first glance, her Marc Jacobs Fall 2015 ensemble was a rather tame exit for the provocative, platinum-blonde songstress with the sophisticated suiting providing a sense of classic panache.

But, add in the details, including the questionably illustrated T-shirt, long gloves, and platform shoes—and she appropriately Gaga-fied the look, which certainly moved it further away from more classy standards.

Aside from those stilts, and that rather R-rated tee, it could have been a more elegant outing for her.

Celebrities Love…Bionda Castana ‘Zoe’ Sandals

Celebrities Love Bionda Castana 'Zoe' Sandals
The new bestie among the celebrity set goes by the name of Zoe. And she’s shiny, sassy, and laser-sharp—clearly, everything a starlet needs to have by her side.

A constant companion to a range of ensembles, the Bionda Castana ‘Zoe’ sandals are having a moment in the spotlight thanks to their striking, silver metallic style and geometric laser-cut straps.

While the stacked platform structure pays homage to the swinging ’70s, the retro mood is balanced by a mod flair that provides a spirited edge to any look.

Last month, Lady Gaga was spotted out in New York City wearing her pair of Zoes, which added a fun zing to her black-and-white outfit.

Brittany Snow’s sparkling silver beaded jumpsuit, seen at the CMT Awards last week, received a sprightly finishing touch with the flash of her silver sandals.

And, like Lady Gaga, Jessica Alba took her street style to the next level in New York City wearing the same ‘Zoe’ sandals, which only further elevated her scalloped white Giambattista Valli dress and denim jacket to even more perfect proportions.

Clearly, everyone needs a friend like Zoe.

Who Wore Tanya Taylor Better…Kerry Washington or Lady Gaga?

Who Wore Tanya Taylor Better Kerry Washington or Lady Gaga

Who would’ve thought that Kerry Washington and Lady Gaga would ever appear on a Who Wore It Better post?

While this Tanya Taylor Spring 2015 pinwheel motif look is something we expect from Kerry, the same can’t be said for Lady Gaga.

Kerry wore her look while making her way to the ‘Good Morning America’ studios in New York City last month, styling her look with Louboutins and a Jason Wu ‘Daphne’ bag.

Gaga wore the same look while exiting her London hotel this week.

I am surprised to say that I prefer the look on Gaga.

Firstly I appreciate the normalcy. Secondly, she gives the look a lot more swag and finally, I prefer the brighter orange tone of Gaga’s look.

Lady Gaga In Salvatore Ferragamo – Bikram Yoga Highbury and Islington

Lady Gaga In Salvatore Ferragamo - Bikram Yoga Highbury and Islington

Lady Gaga was spotted leaving Bikram Yoga Highbury and Islington on Monday (June 8) in London, England.

She reached a new level of zen in her style in a Salvatore Ferragamo Fall 2015 cropped green knit sweater turtleneck top and green wool wrap skirt with oversized side button accents.

While the ensemble itself was rather conservative by her standards, she did add the punch of multi-colour Pierre Hardy ‘Jerry’ sandals and retro shades for a fun twist.

This was a glorious outing from the songstress, as it perfectly balanced refined elegance and mod edge—now, if we could all look this good after leaving bikram yoga.

Lady Gaga In Balenciaga – 2015 Met Gala

"China: Through The Looking Glass" Costume Institute Benefit Gala
Lady Gaga swept onto the red carpet of the ‘China: Through the Looking Glass’ 2015 Met Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City on Monday (May 4).

The entertainer is never one to turn down an opportunity to stand out or to embrace a good costume, and this was no exception.

Completely embodying an Eastern vibe in her custom Balenciaga design, she went the way of the kimono in the colossal, floor-length coatdress that was woven through with black feathers.

Worn over sparkling leggings with her signature, massive platforms, the capacious coat thankfully often hid the silliness of the shoes.

Adorned with Fred Leighton jewels, slightly geisha-inspired makeup, and a black crown atop her jet-black hair, the look was bold, ostentatious, and theatrical—and I fully appreciated it for exactly those reasons.
