Kristin Scott Thomas In Bottega Veneta – ‘Darkest Hour’ New York Premiere

Kristin Scott Thomas made a return to the red carpet for the ‘Darkest Hour’ New York premiere on Wednesday (November 15).

Elegance is word we always associate when it comes to Kristin’s style and that was most definitely the case with her Bottega Veneta Fall 2017 dress.

Infused with velvet detailing for the most intriguing contrast, this black LBD makes quite a dramatic statement.

Kristin Scott Thomas In Vanessa Seward – ‘The Party’ London Film Festival Premiere

Kristin Scott Thomas exuded sophistication at ‘The Party’ London Film Festival premiere on Tuesday (October 10).

Forgoing a gown, the actress wore a Vanessa Seward Fall 2017 ensemble which mixed long, tailored layers. A winter white roll neck was dressed up by a diamond-patterned ankle-length skirt. A mustard overcoat literally topped off the look as it was draped over Kristin’s shoulders.

Black heels with embellishment on the toes provided further appeal.

There are many stunning gowns worthy of admiration, but this layered style proves that dresses certainly aren’t the only red carpet option. Were you enamoured with the outfit?

Kristin Scott Thomas In Christian Dior Couture – Cannes Film Festival 70th Anniversary Celebration

Following her dramatic pink gown from yesterday evening, Kristin Scott Thomas toned things down for the 70th anniversary Cannes Film Festival celebration this evening (May 23).

If you’ve been looking for something non-princess-like, you might want to look away now.

The colour perfectly complements her pale English rose complexion, but the shape falls flat and does nothing for her.

Cannes isn’t exactly known for its subtlety, so I feel her accessory choices could have been bolder.

Subtle yes, but forgettable.

‘The Killing Of A Sacred Deer’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere Red Carpet Roundup

The Cannes Film Festival premiere of ‘The Killing Of A Sacred Deer’ brought more lovelies to the red carpet on Monday (May 22).

Jourdan Dunn: Jourdan was not ready to give up her sheer ambition yet, after her see-through jumpsuit moment. This Elie Saab Spring 2017 Couture gown was an improvement, as it did resonate with a sense of romantic enchantment in its gilded embroidery. The non-butt-cheek-baring bodysuit also worked in its favour.

Izabel Goulart: I love the subtle lustrous tone of this white Ralph & Russo Couture embellished gown along with its streamlined silhouette that glided over Izabel’s statuesque figure.

Kristen Scott Thomas In Schiaparelli Couture – Monte Carlo Casino Re-Opening

Kristin Scott Thomas was at the re-opening celebration for the Monte Carlo Casino on Friday (April 28) in Monte Carlo.

The last time we saw Kristin she was barely recognizable with her OTT look, so even wearing a giant lobster on this Schiaparelli Spring 2017 Couture gown was actually quite subdued by those previous standards.

The dress was actually a re-imagined update on the iconic lobster dress collaboration between Elsa Schiaparelli and Salvador Dali from the ’30s.

However, I wish the Grecian-style silhouette had been slightly more tailored, as the skirt fell a bit too long and languid.

Clearly taking a gamble on the lighthearted humor of this lobster look, did it pay off for her?

The Naked Heart Foundation’s Fabulous Fund Fair

A collection of bold beauties were out in support of The Naked Heart Foundation’s Fabulous Fund Fair in London on Tuesday (February 21).

Natalia Vodianova: The model is known to favour red for this event, and she played favourites again with a bright crimson Givenchy Spring 2017 frock enlivened with fringe—although she could have continued the colour theme down to her shoes. With the high turtleneck, I do think her hair would have been better served in a sleek updo.

Karlie Kloss: The Louis Vuitton Spring 2017 collection has been hit or miss on the red carpet, but Karlie was up for the challenge with this black sheer gown. Both her statuesque height and her simplicity of styling were beneficial here.

Kristin Scott Thomas: Understated was not in the actress’s vocabulary, at least not for this event, as she brought out all the bells and whistles for this Fendi Resort 2017 off-the-shoulder jumpsuit. One would think the flowers and butterflies printed on her outfit would have been quite sufficient, but that was only the beginning with piles of bangles and scarves adding an eccentric, gypset spirit. Of course, her hair was having its own party.
