Kristin Davis In Oscar de la Renta – MOCA’s Annual Gala “The Artist’s Museum Happening”

Whilst most who walked the red carpet at the MOCA’s Annual Gala wore Chanel, Kristen Davis opted for something different.

The ‘Sex And The City’ star wore an Oscar de la Renta Resort 2011 dress.

Her red silk taffeta strapless dress has a draped bow detail, plus romantic ruffles which contrasts beautifully with the bold red hue.

In the picture above I thought that Kristin had dyed her hair black, but from the picture below I’m guessing that it was just the lighting.

Sergio Rossi pumps and a black Judith Leiber clutch complete the look.

I’m very much over these Sergio Rossi pumps.

I don’t like how they weigh down this look.

Women Empowering Women Symposium – Kristin Davis In Prada

Kristin Davis looked very happy on the red carpet at the “Women Empowering Women Symposium” in Beverly Hills this week.

That’s because the “Sex And The City” actress was being honored at the event.

We’re very used to seeing Kristin wearing Oscar de la Renta, but on this occasion she opted for Prada.

Her knee-length Prada Fall 2010 dress has a dark navy blue print with a white jagged hem and black accents.

This is a nice enough dress, but I prefer to see Kristin in more colourful pieces.

She completed her look with Manolo Blahnik sandals, a pearl necklace and a black Judith Lieber clutch.

“Sex And The City 2″ Japan Photocall

Before the “Sex And The City 2″ Japan Premiere, there was a photocall with the fab 4 in Tokyo.

Cynthia Nixon opted for a black fitted dress with matching black pumps, whilst Kristin Davis wore a Giambattista Valli red knot dress.

It’s not vintage but she still look fabulous, as she pairs her red dress with snake skin pumps.

A pre-bob Kim Cattrall wore a floral print dress accented with a gold belt.

All eyes were on Sarah Jessica Parker wearing a vintage Richelene navy sequin strapless dress.

She toned down the dazzle of her dress by pairing it with a white Alexander McQuee blazer with a blue trim, electric blue satin Ferragamo pumps and the gold Alexander McQueen clutch she carried to the Japan Premiere.

Love the look, but adore that necklace.

“Sex And The City 2″ Japan Premiere – Kristin Davis In Jean Patou Haute Couture by Christian Lacroix from Decades & Cynthia Nixon In Calvin Klein

Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon also attended the “Sex And The City 2? Japan Premiere in Tokyo today.

Kristin continues to explore the wonderful archived collections at the Decades boutique.

This time she opted for a yellow taffeta Jean Patou Haute Couture dress by Christian Lacroix paired with a Judith Leiber clutch.

According to the Decades website this gorgeous dress was made by Christian Lacroix for Jean Patou’s Spring 1987 Couture collection. The collection was never produced because Lacroix left Patou to start his own line.

I love discovering the history behind a dress, which is why Decades is so addictive as many of you have recently come to realize.

Cynthia’s final hoorah for the SATC2 premieres was in Calvin Klein, which I think was fitting as she’s been loyal to the brand for so long.

Her black strapless dress by the minimalist brand had a twist with an asymmetrical hem and gathered details.

Thank god she got rid of those extensions as they weren’t doing her any favours.

Her look was paired with a black clutch and black ankle strap heels with a silver platform.

I’m sad the premiere’s are over, but the girls really did themselves proud.

I loved all the looks.

Best Dressed Of The Week – Penelope Cruz In Elie Saab Couture & Kristin Davis In Vintage Jean Desses

I expected you guys to vote for Sarah Jessica Parker BDOTW, but you all fell in love with Penelope Cruz wearing Elie Saab Couture to the Cannes Film Festival closing ceremony.

This has to be one of Pen’s best looks this year. She was absolutely glowing.

I think this week should not pass without recognition going to Kristin Davis.

SJP may have grabbed the headlines because of her Alexander McQueen dress and Philip Treacy hat, but Kristin for me had the most impressive run this week for both the New York and London premiere’s and after-parties.

My favourite was her vintage Jean Desses from Decades.

I’m always longing for colour on the red carpet and Kristin gave it to me in this perfect pretty pink vintage dress.

Enjoy your Memorial Day weekend and Bank Holiday weekend.
