Kristen Wigg In Calvin Klein – Elle’s 19th Annual Women In Hollywood Celebration

Among all the predictable cream and black Calvin Klein looks to hit the red carpet at Elle’s 19th Annual Women in Hollywood Celebration at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills last night, Kristen Wiig was the only one to opt for colour.

The actress looked gorgeous in a green dress from the Calvin Klein Resort 2013 collection.

Her halter dress with a central slit was styled with Nicholas Kirkwood platform pumps, a gold box clutch and Roseark jewels.

Red wavy locks perfected her look, as red heads wearing green dresses has always been a winning red-carpet colour combination.

Kristen Wiig In Balenciaga – 2012 Emmy Awards

Kristen Wiig took to the red carpet on Sunday evening for the 2012 Emmy Awards, held at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live.

The ‘Best Actress in a Comedy’ nominee chose her go-to designer, Balenciaga, for the evening.

While most actresses donned floor-length gowns, Kristen stood out in her light chiffon tea-length dress which has been slightly modified from the version which took to the runway for Spring 2006.

The feminine and airy dress, may seem a little too casual, but I find this look very refreshing.

A gold Judith Leiber clutch perfectly complemented her dress.

Kristen Wiig In Alberta Ferretti – ‘Imogenee’ Toronto Film Festival Premiere

Kristen Wiig went for a vintage-inspired look for the ‘Imogenee’ premiere during the Toronto Film Festival last week.

The actress, writer and comedian wore a dress from the Alberta Ferretti Pre-Fall 2012 collection for the event.

I love this laid-back nod to the 20s look on Kirsten. The dark purple goes well against her fair skin and dark hair, while the semi-casual fit seems to suit her personality.

The shoes, however, are an odd match, though it could be the photography and the light, and the necklace is an unnecessary addition.

Loose waves and pastel pink make-up complete her look.

Who Wore Valentino Better…Kristen Wig, Jada Pinkett Smith or Rebecca Dayan?

This Valentino Pre-Fall 2012 jumpsuit has been quite the popular red-carpet item and seen in more ways than one.

Comedian and actress Kristen Wig was first to sport the bold look for the 2012 Writers Guild Awards in LA back in February.

The ‘Bridesmaids’ star styled her look with a Kotur clutch, Sergio Rossi ‘Chi Chi’ heels and a Solange Azagury-Partridge snake bracelet to complete this edgy red-carpet look.

Jada Pinkett Smith made this look her own when she attended the Capri Sun ‘Super V’ Launch back in June by transforming the piece into a fun and flirty playsuit.

It was quite a risqué look for Jada, but she looked stunning nonetheless, accessorizing with black ankle-strap sandals and a gold bracelet.

Rebecca Dayan also wore the jumpsuit to the ‘Celeste And Jessie Forever’ New York Premiere recently.

Studded Valentino accessories including T-strap ‘Hi’ pumps and a ‘Va Va Voom’ studded leather convertible clutch were added to the look with a slicked-back top-knot completing it.

While I like each star’s rendition of the Valentino creation, I’m partial to side with Rebecca on this one. The jumpsuit look suits her well and I love her choice in accessories.

Which look do you prefer? Are you a fan of the original jumpsuit or Jada’s playsuit look?

You can buy their Valentino jumpsuit from Neiman Marcus and Bergdorf Goodman.

Kristen Wiig For Marie Claire US August 2012

Kristen Wiig graces the cover of Marie Claire magazine’s August 2012 issue wearing a Tom Ford suit.

This cover has been a hot topic as people have been mainly focusing on her side boob.

Shot by Tesh, the rest of the editoral sees her wearing Emilio Pucci, Calvin Klein, Donna Karan, No. 21, YSL and Sakist Taylor.

The funny gal talks to the mag about leaving ‘Saturday Night Live’ and dropping out of college to travel in Mexico.

Pick up the issue when it hits newsstands on July 17 or head to MarieClaire.com.

On leaving SNL after seven seasons: “I know a lot of people probably assume, ‘Oh, she’s leaving because she is going to be doing movies now and things like that,’ which I will be,” she notes. “But I just always knew it was going to be seven and that was it. I think maybe if I were 22, I could see myself staying a little bit, but it just felt like the right time.”

On dropping out of college to travel in Mexico: “Sailing, kayaking, going with 20 strangers into the mountains of the Yucatán. Probably one of the more important things that I’ve done. It felt like that first big accomplishment. I was scared to do it, I knew it was going to be really hard, and I did it.”

On her happiness: “I will say that I’m happier than I’ve ever been, and I feel very lucky. [Because of] where I am now. Who he [boyfriend, Strokes drummer Fabrizio Moretti] is. Those are the two big ones.”
