Kristen Wiig In Martin Grant - 'The Secret Life Of Walter Mitty' Berlin Premiere

Kristen Wiig attended ‘The Secret Life Of Walter Mitty’ Berlin premiere on Wednesday evening (December 11) in Germany.

The actress had been stuck in a bit of a rut, always selecting minimalist dresses with similar silhouettes, so I was happy to see her working a different look on this occasion.

She wore a geometric black-and-white Martin Grant Spring 2014 bustier with a gorgeous voluminous flared tea-length black skirt, which she styled with gold Manolo Blahnik pumps and subtle complementary gold jewels.

With her hair swept back, she completed her look with a black manicure.

Are you liking this new look, or do you deem it too twee for the actress?

Kristen Wiig In Martin Grant - ‘Anchorman 2 The Legend Continues’ Sydney Premiere

Kristen Wiig continued her stay Down Under with an appearance at the Sydney premiere of ‘Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues’ on Saturday.

The actress joined Kirsten Dunst on the red carpet, selecting a black, wide-leg Martin Grant jumpsuit with Victorian-esque buttons down the bodice for the occasion. This ensemble was a far cry from her sunnier J. Mendel choice days earlier at ‘The Secret Life of Walter Mitty’ premiere, but certainly stayed true to Kristen’s long-standing penchant for jumpsuits.

Christian Louboutin peep-toe shoes, chunky Saint Laurent gold cuff, and black belt cinched at the waist provided minimalist flare, while her darker lip colour gave the look its finish.

I can’t say I hate this look, but I’m not quite enamoured of it either. It’s just nothing to write home about.

Agree or disagree?

Kristen Wiig In J Mendel - 'The Secret Life Of Walter Mitty' Sydney Premiere

Kristen Wiig stepped out to promote ‘The Secret Life of Walter Mitty’ at the film’s premiere in Sydney, Australia on Thursday.

The actress injected a burst of colour into the day, thanks to her lemon, nude, and black-hued J. Mendel Spring 2014 look. Staying true to her quirky, low-key style, she chose a dress that not only boasted a playful palette, but also featured a dynamic texture, consisting of lace, jacquard, organza, and a graphic-tiered hem.

Her black Christian Louboutin ‘June’ pumps and go-to messy updo completed the look.

I’ve become so used to Kristen’s penchant for shapeless dress shapes that I’m not even bothered by it now. Instead, I really love her sunny pick from head to toe.

Kristen Wiig In Balenciaga - 'The Secret Life of Walter Mitty' AFI FEST Premiere

Kristen Wiig attended the premiere of ‘The Secret Life of Walter Mitty’ during AFI FEST 2013 held at TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, California yesterday evening.

The actress continued her love affair with Balenciaga, selecting an ivory tropical wool-and-mohair tailored dress from their Spring 2014 collection which features a folded asymmetrical panel and buttons down one side.

Keeping the look simple, Kristen styled the look with a rose-gold Balenciaga ‘Cage’ bracelet and the same Christian Louboutin ‘June’ heels we saw on Lupita Nyong’o yesterday, but in a complementary, leg-lengthening taupe colour.

Kohl-rimmed eyes and a simple bun completed her look.

It’s a bit shapeless for my personal tastes, but she does look good in this frock and the styling is impeccable.

Kristen Wiig In Marchesa - Centerpiece Gala Presentation of 'The Secret Life of Walter Mitty'

Kristen Wiig attended the Centerpiece Gala Presentation of ‘The Secret Life of Walter Mitty’ during the 51st New York Film Festival held at Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center in New York City on Saturday evening.

The actress wore a Marchesa Spring 2014 dress with a sheer lace-embroidered top and polka-dot layered skirt.

I’m not a fan of the dress to begin with, and to add to that I don’t think this is the right dress for Kristen; it’s too fussy and princess-like for her laidback, sleek style. She’s weighed down by all that tulle.

This would’ve looked better on Ariel Winter or Marchesa fan Sarah Hyland.

Grey suede Jimmy Choo ‘Anouk’ pumps, Fred Leighton jewels, an updo with face-framing tendrils and a pink lip colour completed her look.

Are you disliking this as much as I do?
