Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Kristen Stewart made a guest appearance on ‘The Graham Norton Show’, which is taped in London, where she talked about her new movie, ‘Snow White and the Huntsman’.

On the show, which will air on BBC1 today, she wore a Jason Wu Spring 2012 ensemble.

The look featured a sheer striped charcoal long-sleeve top paired with a lime green asymmetrical skirt.

It’s a great look for Kristen, but did she have to wear Bloch Hannah Oxfords?

She has worn them a few times recently, but on this occasion the Jason Wu look deserved at least some gladiator heels.

I shouldn’t complain about her shoes too much because at least they aren’t a total abomination, like the shoes she wore to the Met Gala.

A gold Anita Ko bracelet and a simple ponytail completed her look.

This is a great look for Kristen. Not too edgy, not too girlie.

I can’t wait to see this interview. With Graham’s hilarious quick wit, it will be interesting to see how Kristen responds to his humour.

Catch the interview Friday at 10.35pm on BBC1.

Kristen Stewart attended the 2012 Met Gala, which was held on Monday night in New York City.

As the face of the latest Balenciaga fragrance, the actress represented the brand wearing a look from their Fall 2012 collection.

Whilst she was one of the most unique stars on the red carpet wearing a dress with a black-and-silver embellished bodice and a colour-block leather skirt, I can’t take those hideous shoes seriously.

The black heels with the white laces almost kill all that is good with this look.

I was only temporarily excited when I saw this look because she does embodied the spirit of the brand so well and I love the chocolate-brown wavy locks.

From the ankles up, this gets a thumbs up from me.

Kristen Stewart appears on the cover of Elle UK’s June 2012 issue.

The actress, who is gearing up for the release of her latest movie, ‘Snow White and the Huntsman’, sports a 60s inspired hairdo whilst wearing a Jil Sanders Spring 2012 knitted two piece on the cover shot by David Slijper.

In the magazine she talks about her style choices, whether she sees herself as a director someday, and when she’s the happiest – I’m guessing in jeans, a t-shirt and converse sneakers.

The issue hits newsstands on May 2. Here are some extracts from her interview.

On being a role model: “I don’t apply [being a role model] to the choices I make. I feel like a role model is not necessarily somebody you want to imitate, just someone you admire.”

On her love of acting: “It’s a physical thing. I f***ing love everything about [acting]. I love movies, I love what they do. I am just so fueled by it like nothing else.”

On her choice in clothing: “I just wear very functional clothes. When I’m in London I feel so dressed down and young and Californian. Even if I try to look nice when I go out for dinner, I just don’t have that thing. I will always wear no socks in be like, ‘F***, it’s freezing; what am I doing?’”

On whether she’d like to direct: “I want to direct movies. Sometimes I think, ‘God, I want to do that, I want to do that next.’ But then I work with someone who’s great at what they do and I think, ‘I’m not there yet.’”

On when she’s really happy: “In my car with the right friend – I like to drive and I love being in LA, it always feels like, ‘Ahhhhh.’ So I would say if the right song came on, windows down, that’s a great feeling. To just be excited to be moving, to be like, ‘Here we are.’”

On how she’d describe herself: “I don’t know. I was going to say that I really like what I do. I really love what I do. I think the most interesting part of me, literally, is what I do.”

Kristen Stewart and Charlize Theron joined director Rupert Sanders onstage at Caesars Palace during CinemaCon 2012 in Las Vegas, Nevada to promote their new movie ‘Snow White & The Huntsman’.
The actresses wore matching black and ivory looks.

As expected, Charlize wore an all-black look with an ivory blazer.

Kristen’s look was also to be expected as she wore a micro mini look from the Cushnie et Ochs Pre-Fall 2012 collection.

The ¾ dress with an ivory-and-black skirt was teamed with a black belt from the same collection and Christian Louboutin ‘Pigalle’ pumps.

This look is much improved from the previous look so let’s hope the only way is up for the rest of the promo tour.

I recently learned that Kristen is going to be at Cannes Film Festival.

On Friday evening at the Stella McCartney boutique in LA, Paul McCartney hosted the premiere of ‘My Valentine’, which he directed, with his daughter Stella, who outfitted the guests on the night.

Here are the rest of the looks which didn’t make the best dressed list.

Kristen Stewart: On Friday evening I usually check out from the internet, but a comment that I saw on my Blackberry told me that Kristen Stewart would be on the Best Dressed list next week. So I broke my ‘no internet on Friday night’ rule to check out this amazing look. I was gob-smacked by the bedraggled mess that I was faced with. Firstly she clearly doesn’t want to be there (which is an instant turn off); secondly, her roots need a touch up; and thirdly, the look was much better on the runway with the blue blazer. Why her stylist opted for a black blazer will forever remain a mystery. I’m not a fan of those Stella McCartney loafers and the attempt to add some life to this part schoolgirl, part schoolboy look via the red lip colour fails miserably. I’m shocked at how this could be considered BDOTW worthy, especially following Coco Rocha.

Rumer Willis: One person had to pick a diamond-print dress with thick embroidery from Stella McCartney Spring 2012 and that person was Rumer. She dared to go where nearly everyone else had failed by trying to make these dresses work on the red carpet. Not only did she fail, she also added insult to injury by wearing the floor-length dress with a black shawl. For the intriguing yellow footwear she gets a 2 out of 10.

Stella McCartney has been very popular this week.

This time a look by the British designer made its way onto the orange carpet for the 2012 Nickelodeon Annual Kids’ Choice Awards, held at the Galen Center in LA yesterday afternoon.

Kristen Stewart’s blue lace dress with a satin waistband from Stella’s Evening 2012 collection may have had long sleeves, but the skirt was of course short.

If I had her legs I would show them off all the time too. One should always make use of their best assets.

The ‘Twilight’ star has long been loyal to Brian Atwood, but on this occasion she wore Barbara Bui Spring 2012 blue suede pumps which perfectly complemented her dress.

A simple ponytail and a smile completed her look.

This look is 9 out of 10 for me. She would’ve gotten 10 had she improved her posture.
