Red Carpet Fashion Awards

With ‘Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2’ due to hit cinemas on November 16, Kristen Stewart graces the cover of Vogue UK’s October 2012 issue wearing a Gucci ruffled floral-print silk wrap dress from the Fall 2012 collection.

The editorial shot by Mario Testino also sees the actress wearing a look from the Balenciaga, which is not surprising considering she is the face of the brand’s newest fragrance.

Kristen talks to Vogue about everything from going blonde for her new role to struggling to play it cool.

The October 2012 issue of Vogue UK featuring Kristen is due to go on sale Monday. Below are some extracts to whet your appetite.

On going blonde for her sexy new role in ‘On The Road’: “I feel like my whole body rejects it, but it was really important for the character. It was like learning an accent!”

On how she struggles to play it cool: “I know if you haven’t thought about how you want to present a very packaged idea of yourself then it can seem like you lack ambition. But, dude, honestly? I can’t. People expect it to be easy because there you are, out there, doing the thing that you want and making lots of money out of it. But, you know, I’m not that smooth. I can get clumsy around certain people. Like if I were to sit down and think, ‘OK, I’m really famous, how am I going to conduct myself in public?’ I wouldn’t know who that person would be! It would be a lot easier if I could, but I can’t.”

On her empathy for the Beat generation: “There is always going to be that seam of people who want things differently to the standardised version. It’s not necessarily a rebellious thing, it’s just who they are. That world back then, it just seems freer to me than anything I could ever touch and I’m fully nostalgic for it, even though I wasn’t even alive then. It’s the loyalty aspect of it all. I love being on the periphery with a group of people who have the same values that I do. People who don’t get off on fame, who just like the process of making movies and thrive.”

Kristen Stewart skipped the red carpet at the 2012 Teen Choice Awards on Sunday evening, but she was spotted backstage wearing a menswear-inspired look.

I love this look from head to toe; this is the type of look I have been crying out for her to wear for a very long time.

Yes, she has great legs and loves mini dresses, but this look suits her personality so much better.

A grey Fluxus tee was teamed with tight black leather pants and a statement blazer from Roberto Cavalli’s Resort 2013 collection.

The print blazer with black leather lapels makes the look. I’m sure Steven Tyler is wishing he got his hands on this look first.

Sporting a hairstyle made famous by Alice Dellal, Kristen opted to braid one side of her wavy brunette hair rather than take clippers to it.

Minimal makeup save for blue eyeshadow, a Melinda Maria ring and black Christian Louboutin ‘Pigalle’ pumps completed her look.

Kristen Stewart was all smiles on the red carpet as she joined her co-stars for the ‘The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2’ press conference at Comic-Con 2012 yesterday, which was held at San Diego Convention Center in California.

The actress threw together a look which featured a simple white Fluxus tee and a BCBG Max Azria neon-yellow-and-white high-waisted mini skirt.

I’m not at all surprised that Kristen wasn’t wearing heels at this event, but I wish her Barbara Bui black-and-silver high-top sneakers had been more complementary to her look.

Carefree wavy locks and a selection of jewels including a Melinda Maria black onyx sliced ring completed her ‘never one to want to play by the rules’ look.

Prior to the Sydney premiere for ‘Snow White and the Huntsman’, Kristen Stewart attended a photocall with co-star Chris Hemsworth at the Park Hyatt hotel. Her co-star Chris Hemsworth struck a series of moody poses at the.

The star looked comfortable sporting a casual, relaxed look from the Chaiken Fall 2012 collection.

Her baggy burgundy three-quarter-length suit consisted of a ‘Carolina’ single-breast blazer with ‘Jackie WZ’ pants which she styled with a simple All Saint tee, brogues and a BaubleBar yellow Neon ID bracelet.

This is the most comfortable I have seen her the whole promo tour. All year even.

These menswear-inspired looks really work well for her.

Such a shame she didn’t run an iron over those pants before she headed out.

Kristen Stewart took to the red carpet this evening at the Event Cinemas Bondi Junction in Australia for the ‘Snow White & The Huntsman’ Sydney premiere with co-star Chris Hemsworth.

The actress wore a Balmain Fall 2012 collection.

Whilst Kristen is no stranger to wearing Balmain, I would’ve expected her to wear one of their signature mini dresses.

Instead she wore this forest-green two-piece which features a bustier top with a calf-length pencil skirt which are both embroidered with crystal and pearl shimmering details.

Surprisingly she didn’t opt for black pumps; instead she selected a pair of crystallized Louboutins.

I love the punky nature of her hairdo and I’m so glad she didn’t wear the belt.

Either Kristen is more radiant with a lighter hair colour or she’s sporting a tan which is working for her.

A dark pink lip colour completed her look.

This is one of my favourite looks from Kristen this promo tour. How does it fair for you?
