Kristen Stewart In Chanel Couture – 2014 Hollywood Film Awards

Kristen Stewart In Chanel Couture - 2014 Hollywood Film Awards

Kristen Stewart attended the 18th Annual Hollywood Film Awards held at The Palladium on Friday (November 14) in Hollywood, California.

The actress wore her second Chanel dress in a row, this time selecting a look from the Fall 2014 Couture collection.

This look is interesting enough with the beaded turtle neck overlay, but I much prefer her previous look.

My issue is that the strapless dress sits far too low and the silhouette doesn’t seem suited to her style, but I like that she tried something different.

What I can’t fault are the hair and makeup which are both impeccable.

Casadei grey suede pumps with the signature ‘Blade’ heel completed her look.

Get The Look: Kristen Stewart’s Rocker Chic ‘Still Alice’ Screening Edgy Look

unnamed (1)Celebrity hairstylist Giannandrea worked with Kristen Stewart for the AFI FEST 2014 premiere of ‘Still Alice’ last night (November 12), creating an edgy look for her Chanel frock.

Giannandrea’s inspiration was simple: “Rocker Chic”.

Here’s how to get the look.

He started on wet hair and applied ample amounts of Macadamia Professional Foaming Volumizer to the entire head. Then he created a deep side part on the left side of the head.

Then he combed the hair up and back as if he were creating a pompadour, and with a round brush he blew the hair dry adding extra volume. Next he smoothed the sides back with Macadamia Professional Healing Oil Treatment, giving the hair a sleek, tight look.

Once the whole head was dry he took a good amount of Macadamia Professional Whipped Detailing Cream and ran it throughout the whole top with his hands to create a heavy texture.

Next he took a flat iron and flattened it a bit at the ends to give it an extra edgy look.

To finish, he sprayed the hair with Macadamia Professional Control Working Spray, which set the hair in place without being too stiff.

Kristen Stewart In Chanel – ‘Still Alice’ AFI FEST 2014 Screening

Kristen Stewart In Chanel - 'Still Alice' AFI FEST 2014 Premiere

Kristen Stewart attended the AFI FEST 2014 special screening of ‘Still Alice’ held at the Dolby Theatre on Wednesday (November 12) in Hollywood, California.

The actress wore Chanel, selecting a black and white graphic-print dress with a sheer yoke and sleeves from the Spring 2015 collection.

I know some can’t quite get on board with her style, but for me she’s hit a rich vein of form, with this look being one of the best in recent times.

Yes, it is very much sticking to her red carpet M.O. of being a frock in a very short style, but it’s a formula which continues to work for her.

Her newly chopped ‘do continues to take shape, suiting her tomboyish persona whilst giving this pretty frock an edge.

I just love the silvery eye makeup on this occasion.

From head to toe this look works. I have no nits to pick.

Are any of you KStew non-believers ready to give this look a thumbs up?

Kristen Stewart In Chanel Couture – ‘Clouds Of Sils Maria’ New York Film Festival Screening

Kristen Stewart In Chanel Couture - 'Clouds Of Sils Maria' New York Film Festival Screening

Kristen Stewart attended the ‘Clouds Of Sils Maria’ screening held during the 52nd New York Film Festival at Alice Tully Hall on Wednesday (October 8) in New York City.

Wearing her second Chanel look in a row, this time the actress selected a piece from the Fall 2014 Couture collection.

I don’t know about you, but this ranks for me as one of her best ever looks, especially in Chanel.

The dramatic black dress with silver leather aluminum embroideries suits her unique edgy style and has a bit more character than the usual mini dresses she tends to wear.

She also, most importantly, looks comfortable in it, and I just can’t get enough of the new haircut.

Her look was, of course, styled with pointy pumps, with Christian Louboutin ‘Iriza’ glitter pumps rounding out her amazing look.

Are you as blown away as I am?

Kristen Stewart In Chanel - Apple Store Soho Presents Meet the Filmmakers 'Camp X-Ray'

Kristen Stewart attended the Apple Store Soho Presents: Meet the Filmmakers: ‘Camp X-Ray’ held at Apple Store Soho on Tuesday (October 7) in New York City.

The face of Chanel’s Pre-Fall 2014 collection wore a dress from the French brands Spring 2015 collection featuring a tweed red and black top with a leather overall-like overlay.

Yes, once again it’s another mini dress, however, methinks this is her best one yet.

The look is cool and youthful with an edge, everything we expect from a Kristen Stewart look.

We all know she likes to ditch those Louboutins as soon as she can, so it looks like her stylist compromised styling her look with brogues on this occasion.

Her best yet?

Get The Look: Kristen Stewart’s New Hair Cut

"Camp X-Ray" New York PremiereHair stylist Giannandrea worked with Kristen Stewart for the premiere of ‘Camp X-Ray’ on Monday.

When talking about the inspiration behind her new haircut, he said “I wanted to give Kristen a chic and effortlessly stylish new cut, something to perfectly reflect her personality. The proportions are extremely important with a short haircut. I wanted to preserve the femininity while still bringing an edge to the look, and using a combination of thinning shears and a razor allowed me to achieve this balance. And of course, we wanted to have fun with it!”

Here’s how he created the look.

He began by chopping away the back and the sides of the hair with a pair of thinning shears to help create a steep layered grading and proceeded to razor cut the whole top to give Kristen her edgy long pointed ends. This cutting technique is playful and softly shapes the neck and cheekbones.

After cutting, he applied Macadamia Professional Foaming Volumizer all over the roots to create a thick base texture. He blow-dried her hair with his hands to lift the roots and directed the front base roots forward without losing the base volume. After drying the hair, he then used Macadamia Professional Control Working Spray, sectioning her hair into small and medium sections and using an infrared flat iron on the ends.

Lastly, he took a dime-sized amount of Macadamia Professional Whipped Detailing Cream and, using his fingers, created a deep side zigzag part to swoop over, and then twisted each section to finesse the texture.
