Chanel Resort 2016 Front Row

Chanel Resort 2016 Show
While the 2015 Met Gala was enlivening New York City with extravagant style, across the globe in Seoul, South Korea, another fashionable scene was occurring on Monday (May 4) with the Chanel Resort 2016 show.

Kristen Stewart: As the face of the Chanel Spring 2015 bag campaign, the actress represented the fashion house in a Chanel Spring 2015 Couture dress accessorized by Chanel Fine Jewelry. With a sculpted lattice aesthetic and an engineered sense of modernity, the LBD was perfectly suited to Kristen’s style. I just wish her equally sculpted updo had been more youthfully inspired.

Gisele Bundchen
: As the face of Chanel N°5, the supermodel took a more casual, dressed-down approach in Chanel Pre-Fall 2015 black separates made fun with whimsical flowers decorating the pant legs. She can make anything look good.

Tilda Swinton
: The actress’s Chanel Spring 2015 Couture ensemble unfortunately translated as rather dowdy. The black pumps were the biggest sin of the outfit, harshly contrasting the lighter pastel shades of the tweedy separates.

Kristen Stewart In Self-Portrait – ‘Clouds Of Sils Maria’ LA Screening

Kristen Stewart In Self-Portrait - 'Clouds Of Sils Maria' LA Screening

Kristen Stewart attended the Film Independent at LACMA screening of ‘Clouds Of Sils Maria’ at Bing Theatre At LACMA on Friday (April 3) in Los Angeles, California.

The actress wore a Self-Portrait Fall 2015 dual-colour jumpsuit, which I tried but failed to like.

The cut-lace work is fine, it gives the look an edge. It’s the tailoring of the trousers I don’t find to be particular flattering and the hair looks really sloppy.

So while it’s refreshing to see Kristen in something other than Chanel or micro mini dress, this look gets a no from me.

Kristen Stewart In Chanel Couture - 2015 César Film Awards

Kristen Stewart attended the 40th Cesar Film Awards held at the Theatre du Chatelet on Friday (February 20) in Paris, France, where she became the first American actress to win a Cesar award picking up the best supporting actress gong for ‘Clouds of Sils Maria’.

The face of Chanel wore a white strapless dress embroidered with white silk petals from the Spring 2015 Couture collection accented with both a light pink and black belt.

I don’t think this will be well received but I do like that she selected something other than the norm – a mini dress – because this was the French equivalent to the Oscars after all.

This dress feels like a Kiernan Shipka dress, but Kristen did inject a touch of KStew to the look with a black belt and black Christian Louboutin ‘ Salopatina’ heels to make this her own.

With Kristen Stewart expected at the Oscars on Sunday, are you excited to see what she wears next?

Front Row @ Chanel Spring 2015 Couture

Front Row @ Chanel Spring 2015 Couture
Kristen Stewart, Alice Dellal, and Vanessa Paradis held court at the Chanel show as part of Paris Fashion Week Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2015, which was hosted at the Grand Palais on Tuesday (January 27) in Paris, France. As the faces of the new Chanel handbag campaign, each of the girls with their individual style represents one of the brand’s iconic purse pieces, including the 11.12 by Karl Lagerfeld, the Boy Chanel, and the Girl.

Kristen Stewart: Taking a sporty-chic route, the actress wore a white A-line dress with black piping. Chunky, block-heeled booties, a chain necklace and an ear cuff completed her look, yet it was really her side-swept, wavy crop that injected another level of edge to this safer showing.

Alice Dellal: The model’s cropped jacket put a directional twist on traditional plaid while high-waist, wide-leg trousers provided the right counterpoint to the silhouette of the top half of her look, which she styled with a black Boy Chanel bag—naturally.

Vanessa Paradis
: Taking the mannish styling one notch up, the actress suited up in a cropped black tweed blazer worn over a semi-sheer white blouse that gave off a Victorian vibe. Barely there makeup and effortless waves were the natural pairing to this classic Parisian look.

Kristen Stewart In Torn by Ronny Kobo & Roksanda – AOL’s BUILD Speaker Series & ‘Still Alice’ New York Screening

Kristen Stewart In Torn by Ronny Kobo & Roksanda - AOL's BUILD Speaker Series & 'Still Alice' New York Premiere

Kristen Stewart spent Tuesday (January 13) promoting her new movie, ‘Still Alice’, starting with AOL’s BUILD Speaker Series held at AOL Studios and ending with a screening at the Landmark’s Sunshine Cinema in New York.

AOL’s BUILD Speaker Series: Her first look was a striped Torn by Ronny Kobo top and skirt featuring navy, black, yellow and white stripes, which give this minimal look some standout flair. Styled with simple black pumps and a padlock pendant neckline, the look sadly suffers from greasy hair syndrome.

‘Still Alice’ New York Screening: Kristen’s hair was much improved by the evening. Coiffed into a sweeping chic style, the actress was glowing in a Roksanda Spring 2015 ‘Ellsworth’ sleeveless black silk dress spliced with cobalt blue and black piping, which was styled with a Wolford merino skirt instead of the runway pants and accented with a coral belt giving an electrifying touch to this dark look. Black strappy Barbara Bui sandals and heavy kohl-rimmed eyes completed this look I deem BDOTW worthy. Do you?

Kristen Stewart In Chanel Couture – 2014 Hollywood Film Awards

Kristen Stewart In Chanel Couture - 2014 Hollywood Film Awards

Kristen Stewart attended the 18th Annual Hollywood Film Awards held at The Palladium on Friday (November 14) in Hollywood, California.

The actress wore her second Chanel dress in a row, this time selecting a look from the Fall 2014 Couture collection.

This look is interesting enough with the beaded turtle neck overlay, but I much prefer her previous look.

My issue is that the strapless dress sits far too low and the silhouette doesn’t seem suited to her style, but I like that she tried something different.

What I can’t fault are the hair and makeup which are both impeccable.

Casadei grey suede pumps with the signature ‘Blade’ heel completed her look.
