Kerry Washington In Vivienne Westwood – 2012 Emmy Awards

Kerry Washington always looks stunning on the red carpet and the 2012 Emmy Awards were no exception.

The ‘Scandal’ actress sparkled wearing a Vivienne Westwood blush sequin gown which looked heavenly against her skin tone.

Keeping the neutral theme going, she styled her look with a matching Kotur clutch and a nude lip colour.

Gold Christian Louboutins and Fred Leighton jewels completed her stunning look.

Kerry Washington In Christian Dior – 2012 PaleyFest: Fall TV Preview

Kerry Washington attended the 2012 PaleyFest: Fall TV preview with ‘Scandal’ co-star Tony Goldwyn in Beverly Hills, California on Tuesday.

The actress opted for a Christian Dior Pre-Fall 2012 dress.

I love the contrasting black floral appliqués on the front of her ivory dress which is accented with a black waistband.

With the two-tone colour scheme in mind, the actress selected a black-and-ivory beaded Dior clutch to accessorize her look.

Gold jewels, flawless makeup and black pumps provided the finishing touches.

Dior is getting a lot of celebrity love at the moment.

Kerry Washington In Christian Dior – Hollywood Foreign Press Association’s 2012 Installation Luncheon

Kerry Washington stepped out in the red carpet at the Beverly Hills Hotel on Thursday afternoon for the Hollywood Foreign Press Association’s 2012 Installation Luncheon.

The ‘Scandal’ star embraced summer’s bright hues, wearing a pink Christian Dior Resort 2013 dress.

The feminine frock features a fit-and-flare silhouette with wide red stripes accenting the voluminous skirt, which is the same dress we saw on Jessica Biel recently.

Keeping her accessories neutral, Kerry opted for simple nude Christian Louboutin ‘Pigalle’ pumps and minimal jewelry.

Retro-inspired curls and bright magenta lippie complete the look.

The shoes are a bit of a snooze, but perfectly appropriate for a luncheon.

Kerry Washington For Vogue Italia July 2012

Following the huge success of her hit TV series, ‘Scandal’, it’s no wonder Vogue Italia wanted to feature leading lady Kerry Washington for an editorial in their July 2012 issue.

Sporting a voluminous bouffant, and a sultry glare for her ‘60s style vintage glam shoot, the actress was captured by Mark Seliger wearing MaxMara, Roberto Cavalli, Gucci, Christian Dior, Valentino and Dolce & Gabbana.

Known for her classy, elegant taste and impeccable personal style, Kerry looks stunning in these shots.

Kerry admits to the magazine that the haute couture side of things didn’t come naturally to her at first. She has since learnt to appreciate fashion as an art form and now fully embraces it as part of her chosen profession.

I have to say I’m surprised by this statement. She’s always come across as a natural to me.

Kerry Washington In J. Mendel – ‘Django Unchained’ Panel: Comic-Con 2012

Kerry Washington posed for photographers on the red carpet at the discussion panel for ‘Django Unchained’ during Comic-Con 2012 on Saturday in San Diego, California.

The actress teamed an A.L.C. black leather button-down sleeveless shirt with a bold J. Mendel Resort 2013 floral-print high-waisted A-line skirt.

I adore that striking J. Mendel floral print, but the overall styling is quite bad by Kerry’s standards.

The leather top, which looks tight around the bust, was a bad idea as was the purple belt with the gold accent.

I also dislike the clunky footwear. What a difference an orange pair of Jimmy Choo ‘Lance’ sandals, Nicholas Kirkwoods or Christian Louboutin ‘Pigalles’ would have made.

Minimal jewels, a bouffant ponytail with side-swept bangs and a bold red lip colour completed her rather disappointing look.

2012 BET Awards

The 2012 BET Awards was held at The Shrine Auditorium in LA on Sunday evening with several stars taking to the red carpet.

Selita Ebanks: The model sported a sexy, futuristic look wearing a Falguni and Shane Peacock dress with Giuseppe Zanotti shoes. The silver clutch doesn’t work for me, even with the silver bead work on her dress, but the rest of her look scores highly.

La La Vazquez-Anthony: The TV personality opted for a ‘Studio 54-esque’ look wearing a shimmering Lois London jumpsuit. Her top-notch styling included a vintage Versace belt, Jimmy Choo heels and complementary Loren Ridinger jewels. A side-swept ponytail completed her look.

Monica Brown: The singer looked sensational rocking a berry-coloured look which featured a structured blazer and sequin pants.
