Beyonce Knowles In Nicolas Jebran Couture – 2018 Grammy Awards

Beyonce was another star who skipped the red carpet at the 2018 Grammy Awards on Sunday (January 28) in New York City.

Queen Bey positively slayed at the Grammy Salute To Industry Icons Honoring Jay-Z, so I was waiting with bated breath to see if the level of powerful brilliance would continue tonight.

But, I cannot really answer that question, as it was difficult to see the full effect of this custom velveteen Nicolas Jebran Couture piece whilst she was seated.

Judging by the designer’s sketch, the hat-topped creation certainly possessed a striking sense of glamorous form.

I couldn’t quite see that magnificence manifested, as I would have preferred. Plus, her gigantic Lorraine Schwartz earrings really stole so much attention, as she was donning what amounted to $6.8 million worth of jewels.

Wearing her sunglasses at night, she topped off the look with an Alain Mikli ‘Le Matin’ pair.

Kelly Clarkson In Christian Siriano – 2018 Grammy Awards

Kelly Clarkson and her husband Brandon Blackstock put on a matching display at the 2018 Grammy Awards on Sunday (January 28) in New York City at Madison Square Garden.

The Best Pop Solo Performance nominee was outfitted in a custom Christian Siriano dress which her partner’s sharp suit offset.

The singer often gravitates towards outfits with a dark romance and this fringed gown with intricate golden lace detailing speaks to that.

The piece has a regal air, but methinks the effect would actually have been stronger if one or two elements were removed — namely, the belt.

A long-stemmed rose to support the #TimesUp movement finished the romantic look.

Cardi B In Moschino by Jeremy Scott – 2018 Grammy Awards Performance

Cardi B took to the 2018 Grammy Awards stage on Sunday (January 28) in New York City for a performance of ‘Finesse’ with Bruno Mars.

The colourfully irreverent personality of this loud-and-proud custom Moschino by Jeremy Scott was right in line with the designer’s rebellious sensibility. But, the ’90s hip-hop aesthetic—completed by Dr. Martens boots—also stayed true to the duo’s music video inspired by ‘In Living Color.’

There was likewise a distinct T.L.C. flavour to this exaggerated, Crayola colour-block look, wouldn’t you agree?

Some of you weren’t exactly enthralled by her red-carpet dress. So, I’m curious what you made of this performance piece.

Andra Day In Victoria Hayes – 2018 Grammy Awards

Andra Day brought her vivacious retro flair to the 2018 Grammy Awards on Sunday (January 28) in New York City where she joined Heidi Klum and Lorde.

She was a ray of bold colour in her custom Victoria Hayes look.

The cotton candy pink and red combination has a romantic sentiment, but combined with the gravity-defying beehive it’s very Patsy Stone from ‘Absolutely Fabulous.’

Never one to forget about details, she accessorized with Jennifer Fisher jewels and Louboutin shoes.

She also posed with a single white rose in support of #TimesUp.

Heidi Klum In Ashi Studio – 2018 Grammy Awards

The Grammys never has a shortage of bold looks, so I’m sure many were holding out to see what Heidi Klum was going to wear at the 2018 Grammy Awards on Sunday (January 28) in New York City at Madison Square Garden.

It’s been said that the supermodel has been redeeming herself of late, so I’m curious to see how this Ashi Studio Fall 2017 dress with Lorraine Schwartz jewels will go down.

The ornate black gown is very much in her sexy wheelhouse with the lace-paneled corset marrying with Swiss dot tulle and lace banding to evoke a distinct lingerie feel.

I was pleased she opted for simple Giuseppe Zanotti shoes and softer makeup to not compete with the subtle mixing of fabrics, but wish for a sleek updo and for her to lose the earrings.

She wore a white rose corsage on her wrist for the #TimesUp movement.

Was this the head-turning moment you wanted or was it too much?
