Runway To The Philips Arena – Keri Hilson In Givenchy

R&B singer Keri Hilson was at the Philip Arena in Atlanta, Georgia last night to perform the national anthem before the game between the LA Lakers and the Atlanta Hawks.

Unfortunately for her she forgot the lyrics to “Star Spangled Banner” much to the annoyance of the crowd.

She took to her twitter to explain why she messed up so badly, but the damage has already been done.

She performed wearing a Givenchy Ottoman stitch striped jacket which she paired with black skinny jeans and black open-toe booties.

I wish she hadn’t done up the blazer.

41st NAACP Image Awards – Keri Hilson In Rami Kashou

Nice Dress, Boring Shoes Award Singer Keri Hilson wore all black at the 41st NAACP Image Awards on Friday night.

I love Keri's black flamenco style Rami Kashou dress with a huge rosette detail on the hip and ruffles cascading down the skirt.

It looks like a lot of work went into this dress, which is such a shame the Keri couldn't have been more imaginative with her shoe choice.

Black pumps...yawn. I think I once wore a safe pair of pumps like those to a job interview.

Strap on a pair of silver or black strappy sandals and have more fun.

The pumps numb me to this look which is a huge shame.

Best Dressed Of The Week – Keri Hilson In Dolce & Gabbana & Zoe Saldana In Giambattista Valli

Singer Keri Hilson was your Best Dressed this week.

Mostly because she looked stunning in her nude Dolce & Gabbana gown which she wore to the Grammy’s, but also because this is a huge improvement from her uncharacteristic fashion failures.

Zoe Saldana is on an unbelievable roll at the moment, which I pray never ends.

She looked stunning from head to toe in this Giambattista Valli ethnic print dress.

I loved the silhouette and her green heels which complemented her dress perfectly.

2010 Grammy Awards – Keri Hilson In Dolce & Gabbana

We prayed for a 180 and we got a 180.

For those who weren’t around on the weekend, Keri Hilson attended the Grammy Awards “Salute To Icons Honoring Doug Morris” event looking a golden hot mess.

She turned things around walking the red carpet at the 2010 Grammy Awards looking drop dead gorgeous wearing a Dolce & Gabbana mermaid gown with crystal waist band.

I know it’s nothing we haven’t seen before, but the colour, the fit, the detailing works so perfectly plus Keri has come a long way so this look has to be appreciated.

She dazzled with Neil Lane jewels.

Grammy Awards “Salute To Icons Honoring Doug Morris” Clive Davis Event – Keri Hilson

I’m not quite sure when things started to go drastically wrong for Keri Hilson, but she continues to slide on the red carpet.

At the “Salute To Icons Honoring Doug Morris” in LA last night the golden girl wasn’t shining so brightly.

It appears the singer bathe in gold from the shimmering powder caked all over her body.

I wasn’t particularly keen on her gold chainmail dress with the asymmetrical neckline and hemline, nor was I keen on her black strapless bra which is visible under her dress.

Hopefully girlfriend can do a 180 before the main event tonight.

KIIS FM’s Jingle Ball 2009

After a few questionable choices, Leighton Meester tones things down a tad wearing this Cushnie Et Ochs marble print dress.

I like the dress which doesn’t scream “I’m not Blair Waldorf”, but not too keen on the make-up.

I’m still expecting more from Keri Hilson.

It was pointed out that the main problem with her look was her hair, which appears to be sorted out.

For a casual event this ensemble including an Alexander Wang jacket is fine, but I’m would like to see more from her next time out.

Katie Cassidy stood out wearing honeycomb gold and black mini dress.

Tights, black peep-toes and a black clutch completed the look.

Her make-up is flawless here.

Grammy Nominations Concert Live!

Jennifer Nettles looked stunning as usual wearing a Yigal Azrouël Resort 2010 red one-sleeved silk shantung dress, which I think would’ve looked even better if it was sleeveless.

A contrasting belt and clutch, plus fuschia pink Christian Louboutin Very Galaxy peep-toes complete the look.

Keri Hilson continues her slide.

This houndstooth and striped Stella McCartney knit dress with lace panels shouldn’t have been considered as a red carpet dress.

She used to be so fierce on the red carpet.

Maybe she should do what Rihanna did and come to London and discover some new designers, because she’s clearly run out of ideas.

Fergie looks gorgeous in this one shoulder dress covered in ombre sequins by The Blonds, which has the same spike details as the dress Rihanna wore recently.

I love the dress, but those spikes are just plain scary.

When I go out I have enough to worry about when it comes to scuffing my shoes, I don’t want to have to worry about poking my eyes out as well.

Katy Perry wore an embroidered Ema Savahl dress with a sassy hemline.

By keeping her accessories to a minimum she didn’t overload her look.

Lilac Casadei heels completed the look.
