Keri Hilson In Basil Soda Couture – 2011 Grammy Awards

Keri Hilson always knows what’s required to look fabulous at these events.

At the 2011 Grammy Awards last night she wore a futuristic Basil Soda Fall 2010 Couture dress.

The blue mini dress has the gold zipper details which were the signature of this collection.

I prefer her shorten dress to the runway length.

Keri completed her look with metallic gold strappy sandals.

Keri Hilson In Aurelio Costarella – 2011 Critics’ Choice Awards

Best Mini Award
Keri Hilson was one of my favourites at the 2011 Critics’ Choice Awards.

She wore cute yet sexy mini by Australian designer, Aurelio Costarella.

The corseted dress with a sheer yoke, embellished bustier and bell-shaped skirt is just the type of youthful sexy dress I would expect someone like Keri to rock on the red carpet.

Her look was styled with an Isharya gold mirrored polki ring and gold lace accented heels.

I’m sensing whoever made these took inspiration from Alexander McQueen, but they didn’t quite have the finesse to make them as well as they ones designed by McQueen.

Update: These heels were custom-made by Alana Hale.

Keri Hilson Channels her Inner Diva On The “Late Show with David Letterman”

Last night Keri Hilson channeled her inner Diana Ross for her performance on the “Late Show with David Letterman.”

She wore a platinum blonde wig, a Supremes-esqe long white sparkly gown and she completed her look with retro makeup.

Keri served up a Motown-inspired performance of current hit “Pretty Girl Rock” with two back-up singers in short dress.

Do you think she used ‘Deena Jones’ from Dreamgirls as her inspiration?

“Takers” LA Premiere & After-Party – Keri Hilson In 3.1 Phillip Lim, Alexander McQueen & Zuhair Murad

Keri Hilson attended the LA Premiere of “Takers” on Wednesday night.

The R&B singer opted for a semi formal look wearing an Alexander McQueen black blazer which she paired 3.1 Phillip Lim shorts from the Fall 2010 collection and nude Aldo pumps.

Her blazer looks a bit complicated with the H&M belt, but I like her fringed grommet embellished shorts which show off her toned legs.

Other than her shorts I’m quite dazzled by her Daniel Swarovski earrings.

Following the premiere Keri attended and performed at the “Takers” After-Party.

She wore yet another blazer. This time it was from Zuhair Murad’s Spring 2010 collection.

I really wish she opted to wear her ivory and black sequin snakeskin print blazer as a dress like the model.

Keri clearly has the legs to pull off the look in this way, as she proved on the red carpet.

13.07.10 Who Wore It Better?

Who Wore Givenchy Better? Keri Hilson, Courtney Love or Liv Tyler

This is going to be a tough one, because I’m not feeling the way any of these stars wore this Givenchy Ottoman stitch stripe jacket.

We first saw the Givenchy Spring 2010 jacket worn by Keri Hilson when she performed the National Anthem before the game between the LA Lakers and the Atlanta Hawks at Philips Arena in Atlanta, Georgia back in March.

She kept the look very simple with a black top, black jeans and a black peep-toes.

Courtney Love arrived at the Groucho Club looking a bit tired following her performance at the Brixton Academy in London back in May.

She wore her jacket with a blue Balenciaga mini dress, Chanel ballet pumps and a tan Birkin.

Liv Tyler also kept the rest of her look all black when attending the “MOCA Opening Reception for Dennis Hopper” in LA last week.

She added an Alexander McQueen fold-over clutch to her look to stop it from being totally boring.

Liv wins for me because Keri’s jeans look too tight and Love is a hot mess.
