The X Factor UK Judges Birmingham Auditions

It’s only day one of the X Factor UK Birmingham auditions and already the new judges are in locked in a bitter “style war.”

Last year it was Cheryl Cole vs. Dannii Minogue, this year it’s Kelly Rowland vs. Tulisa Contostavlos.

Both ladies have very different styles.

Despite the big hype both looked quite meh today.

Kelly tried waaaaay too hard wearing a neon yellow lace Twenty8Twelve cropped top with a black mini skirt and the appropriately named Lady ‘Daf’ Louboutin pumps

I was more pleasantly surprised by Tulisa who was more demure wearing a black DKNY jumpsuit with red sandals.

I’m sure as time goes on designers will start throwing clothes at these two.

Remember how Cheryl went from Alice + Olivia and Topshop to Atelier Versace and Stéphane Rolland? I can’t see that happening on this occasion, but you never know.

Runway To Katsuya – Kelly Rowland In BCBG Max Azria

Kelly Rowland and Brandy were spotted hand-in-hand as they left Katsuya restaurant in Hollywood last night.

The R&B singers looked in high spirits as they were followed by the paparazzi.

Brandy opted for a black and white look, whilst Kelly wore a BCBG Max Azria Fall 2010 strapless dress.

I love how she’s taken this Fall dress and turned it into a perfect summers evening dress.

I also like how she let the dress drape naturally rather than adding a belt as it was styled on the runway.

Black open-toe ankle boots and a gold bangles completes this fantastic look.

More From “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse” London Premiere

Nikki Reed looked beautiful on the red carpet at yesterday’s “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse” London Premiere.

She wore a salmon one-shouldered Alberta Ferretti wrap dress paired with silver Brian Atwood peep-toes.

Those “Twilight” actresses sure do love Brian Atwood’s pumps.

Kelly Rowland wore a shimmering Chapurin Fall 2010 dress with sheer black panels.

I couldn’t get excited about her dress, as her Nicholas Kirkwood for Rodarte heels are far more interesting.

This is the third time we’ve seen the singer wear these edgy heels.

My favourite on this red carpet was Holly Willoughby.

She had a lot more personality than everyone else and stood out on this snoozefest of a red carpet.

I love her sexy in her red strapless dress which she paired sexy Christian Louboutin Lady Claude leopard peep-toes and a black clutch.

Who Wore Lefranc Ferrant Better? Marion Cotillard or Kelly Rowland

We got a hint of Marion Cotillard’s edgier style which she was known for pre-Lady Dior on the red carpet at the Chopard 150th Anniversary Party during Cannes Film Festival last month.

She wore a sublime Lefranc Ferrant Fall 2010 metallic sequined embroidered jumpsuit with Jimmy Choo accessories including black Jimmy Choo ‘Marble’ booties, and a black Jimmy Choo Candy acrylic clutch.

Former Destiny’s Child singer Kelly Rowland wore the same jumpsuit when she was spotted leaving her hotel in London last night.

She paired her look with black open-toe booties, a cuff and a grey leather clutch.

Both ladies look good, but I feel like this look was made for Marion as she just oozes edgy chic so she wins for me.

2010 Glamour Women Of The Year Awards

Here are just a few of the looks from the 2010 Glamour Women Of The Year Awards which was held at Berkeley Square in London last night.

Lily Allen used to be the belle of these balls. Now she just fades into the background.

Her black Chanel Pre-Fall 2010 dress with sheer sleeves is nice, but forgettable.

Amanda Holden looks nice in her white strapless dress, but I really dislike her mis-match accessories.

Naomie Harris looked stunning in her black and gold embellished dress which has an Egyptian feel to it.

I’m not sure what Diana Vickers is wearing, because I can’t get past those god-awful vintage Ossie Clarke shoes.

“Sheer Infusion Newcomer” Alexandra Burke also opted for an ethnic-inspired black and gold look.

Her beaded black velvet cape was perfectly accessorized with gold jewels and a stunning armlet.

New mum Denise van Outen wore a very summery Alexander McQueen dress, which she paired with silver pumps and a black Chanel bag.

“Radio Personality of the Year” Fearne Cotton opted for a bold colour in this tomato red Roland Klein sheer dress with black studded pumps.

“UK TV Actress of the Year” Billie Piper wore a long black lace trimmed dress which she paired with gold accessories and a stunning Lara Bohnic clutch.

Pixie Lott was my least favourite at this event.  Normally she’s more inspiring.

The same goes for Kelly Rowland.  Her Roberto Cavalli LBD and black pumps combo is just tres boring for me.

More exciting looks to follow…
