Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Kelly Rowland brought some drama to the red carpet at the 2012 Glamour Women of the Year Awards where she picked up the TV Personality of The Year Award, for her stint on ‘The X Factor’.

The singer wore a stunning gown by British designer Maria Grachvogel.

Her silky black halter gown not only had a full train but also a dramatic white pattern on the back.

Her only accessories were silver hooped Garrard earrings with a glossy nude lip colour, kohl-rimmed eyes and centre-parted sleek long locks completing her look.

Kelly Rowland attended the 2012 Grammy Awards this evening.

The Destiny’s Child singer was glowing in a nude Alberta Ferretti gown with an illusion yoke and silver floral embroidered bodice.

It’s a relatively simple gown, by Grammy standards, but Kelly looks absolutely phenomenal.

A centre-parted do of tight curls adds a touch of diva, along with large diamond earrings.

Some of music’s biggest stars were in LA on Wednesday night for Essence’s 3rd Annual “Black Women in Music” event.

Kelly Rowland: The singer, who is nominated at this Sunday’s Grammy Awards, was the guest honour, alongside former Universal Motown president, Sylvia Rhone. Kelly chose a one-shoulder, asymmetrical Alberta Ferretti gown in a stunning tangerine colour. Gold Lorraine Schwartz accessories and diva-worthy curls complete the look.

Michelle Williams: Kelly’s fellow former Destiny’s Child member was there to support her friend. Michelle was not afraid to show off her extremely fit body in a skintight mini dress with leather and sequin embellishments, paired with ombre mermaid waves.

Eve: Before joining Kelly onstage for a surprise performance, rapper Eve walked the red carpet in a chartreuse gown, worn with large coral earrings. This ladylike look is something new for the woman known to show off her paw-print-tattoo-boasting cleavage. The rapper looks completely lovely, although I do wonder if she can see anything, thanks to those long bangs.

Kelly Rowland stepped out on Wednesday night to support fellow ‘X Factor’ judge Gary Barlow at his Children In Need charity dinner at the Manchester Evening News Arena.

I’m sure I don’t need to tell you that this stunning gown was designed by Roberto Cavalli, as it has his DNA all over it: animal print.

Her wild gown was tamed with a beige tulle overlay, which has been decorated with crystal details.

Long tumbling curls and De Beers jewels completed her look.

Kelly Rowland joined many other stars such as Katy Perry for House of Hype’s 2011 MTV Video Music Awards After-Party on Sunday night in LA.

The singer wore her second mini dress of the night, this time opting for a Roberto Cavalli dress.

Her black and navy blue sequined dress with a sweet-heart neckline was paired with the same Christian Louboutin Spikes peep-toes she wore to the awards show.

The dress is working for her, but the make-up isn’t.

I’ve never been a fan of the dark lip liner/light lip colour combo.

Kelly was very brave to wear this dress considering Bar Rafaeli wore it during Cannes Film Festival back in May.

Most Expected Award
The 2011 MTV Video Music Awards wouldn’t be the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards without at least one Falguni & Shane Peacock dress on the red carpet.

I think it’s the law as far as this event is concerned.

Kelly Rowland donned this gorgeous creation from the designers Fall 2011 collection on the red carpet tonight.

So far there have been a lot of black looks, but I do love this one.

The gold embroidered dress with a feathered skirt and leather harness-style detail wrapped around her waist is the perfect sexy, confident look I would expect from Kelly.

Her look would’ve been significantly better if Kelly had opted for a better hairstyle (when will she retire that awful wig?)

Christian Louboutin Lady Peep Spikes peep-toes and a black clutch completed her look.
