Kelly Rowland In Georges Chakra – 2013 Grammy Awards

Fresh off her Super Bowl XLVII performance last week, Kelly Rowland dialed up the wow factor again at the 2013 Grammy Awards, hosted at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California on Sunday night.

One of the evening’s presenters, she pushed the Grammys envelope with her Georges Chakra black gown from the Spring 2013 Couture collection.

The songstress had fun with geometry in this provocative dress that featured strategically placed, razor-sharp cutouts and a flurry of tulle at the bottom.

Kelly was definitely playing a fierce fashion game with this revealing statement

The runway version was altered by the addition of another black panel at the bodice to make this look ever-so-slightly more conservative.

Huge emerald rings and bold matching earrings from Lorraine Schwartz, along with a sleek low updo and blunt bang, completed the look.

Kelly Rowland In Emilio Pucci – Super Bowl XLVII Halftime Show

Kelly Rowland joined Beyonce Knowles and Michelle Williams for a mini Destiny’s Child reunion with an epic performance of ‘Bootylicious’ and ‘Independent Women’ at the Superdome during Super Bowl XLVII’s halftime show in New Orleans yesterday evening.

Sporting blunt-cut bangs, the singer also wore a sexy leather bodysuit custom made by Emilio Pucci.

The deep v-neckline zipper-accented piece was also styled with Proenza Schouler ankle boots, fingerless gloves, tights and black over-the-knee socks.

As amazing as Kelly looked and as energetic as her performance was, it’s a shame she couldn’t really be heard over the loud music.

Kelly Rowland In Emilio Pucci – BET Honors 2013

Kelly Rowland joined Halle Berry on the red carpet at the Warner Theatre in Washington, DC., last night for the BET Honors 2013.

She wore an Emilio Pucci Fall 2012 black dress with a side slit and sheer sleeves.

It’s times like this when I understand why celebs move on to the most recently presented collections so quickly, because I feel like I’ve seen this look on the red carpet several times before.

As a result this look doesn’t feel so fresh despite the singer looking drop-dead-gorgeous.

Maybe the addition of a clutch or some stand-out jewels would’ve given this dress a new lease of life.

On a positive note, I love her curly ‘do and her light pink lip colour.

VH1 Divas 2012

There were many more stars attending the ‘VH1 Divas’ 2012 event held at the Shrine Auditorium yesterday evening in California.

Kelly Rowland: Usually I’m a big fan of Kelly Rowland’s style, but I was left disappointed by this emerald-green A. F. Vandevorst Fall 2012 wrap gown. There is not much going on with it; it’s like she just wrapped fabric around herself before stepping out. Some form of styling would’ve lifted the look, but that was lacking all round. Even her fringed Nicholas Kirkwood sandals couldn’t save this look.

Jenna Dewan-Tatum: I don’t know about you, but when I saw Jenna in this baby-blue empire-waist strapless Temperley gown with a beaded bodice, the first word to come to my head was ‘pregnant’. This look feels too twee for a ‘Divas’ event. (Update: So I was right. Jenna is pregnant with her first child. Congrats to the happy couple)

Stacy Keibler: The actress channelled her inner diva wearing an all-black Monique Lhuillier Fall 2012 suit, which featured a revealing open jacket, a leather waistband and leather panels on the pants. Factor in Jimmy Choo pointy pumps, a Giuseppe Zanotti clutch and blown-out locks and you have one hot look. Read more…

Kelly Rowland In Naeem Khan – 2012 American Music Awards

Kelly Rowland took to the red carpet on Sunday evening for the 2012 American Music Awards held at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in California.

In her Destiny’s Child heyday she would’ve worn a Tina Knowles original, but on this occasion she wore a Naeem Khan Fall 2012 dress.

The cap-sleeve green-and-sand felt appliqué dress was embroidered with mirrored embellishments, which she complemented with a perspex Eddie Borgo bangle.

Taupe strappy Gucci sandals, wavy raven tresses and a glossy lip colour completed her look.
