Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Katie Holmes made a guest appearance on the ‘Late Show with David Letterman’ yesterday evening to promote her current Broadway show, ‘Dead Accounts’.

In an attempt to shake off the boring tag we have given her last few red carpet looks, she arrived at the Ed Sullivan Theatre wearing a shocking-pink Narciso Rodriguez fitted knee-length dress, which she was keen to show off to the photogs despite trying to keep warm under her military-green Balenciaga wool coat.

Elongating her perfect pins, she wore a pair of nude suede Isabel Marant pumps with a cute bow accent.

This is the most alive she has looked in weeks. I’m usually so bored by her.

The lights are on and for once someone is at home.

Katie Holmes attended the ‘Champagne & Caroling’ Gala held at the Celsius at Bryant Park in New York City on Monday evening.

The actress was looking as dowdy as ever, wearing a Vivienne Westwood strapless gown.

Her purple corseted gown is beautiful, the fit is flattering, but as always Katie lets herself down with the styling.

Even those emerald-green Roger Vivier ‘Smoking’ sandals can’t liven up this look.

Katie Holmes joined Blake Lively on the red carpet for the 12-12-12 Concert Benefiting The Robin Hood Relief Fund To Aid The Victims Of Hurricane Sandy at Madison Square Garden in New York City last night.

There has long been an A.P.B for Katie’s red carpet mojo and it appears to be still at large judging from this look.

Wearing a Tom Ford Fall 2012 look, which we’ve seen a few times before, even on the 2011 US X Factor winner Melanie Amaro last week as she performed on the show, Katie fails to excite in this look.

The purple velvet knee-length dress with sheer sleeves would’ve looked amazing on her in her heyday.

Her hair is so poorly styled, if styled at all, and I’m so o.v.e.r. those Tom Ford padlock pumps.

I really wanted to love it.

Katie Holmes celebrated her Broadway opening night of ‘Dead Accounts’ at the after party held at Gotham Hall in New York City last night.

The actress has a knack for dressing much older than her 33 years.

Case in point: this Bottega Veneta Spring 2013 floral-print dress with a black-and-white embellished bib drastically ages her.

It could have a lot to do with the styling, which included thick tights and black t-bar Gio Diev pointy pumps, or it could just be the dress itself.

A signature woven Bottega Veneta clutch with a knotted clasp completed her look.

Can you find any good elements within this look? Or is it a H-2-T failure?

You can buy Katie’s Bottega Veneta clutch from Bergdorf Goodman and Neiman Marcus.

Katie Holmes was spotted arriving at the Music Box Theater in New York City with daughter Suri Cruise on Saturday afternoon.

Whilst clutching a cluster of stuffed teddy bears, the mother of one managed to look stylish carrying her latest ‘IT’ bag, the Derek Lam ‘Newton’ camera bag.

The small but roomy bag, big enough to carry all her necessities, comes in many colours including black, but she opted for the berry hue which is perfect for Fall.

Katie’s bag adds a chic touch to her Stella McCartney cable knit cardigan from the designers Fall 2012 collection, which she wore with a black top, black jeans and Rag & Bone ankle boots.
