Zoe Saldana glowed as always wearing a Calvin Klein Spring 2010 ivory dress.

The dress which is gathered on the skirt to give it some shape was paired with gold accessories.

Jenna Dewan was one of my favourites on this red carpet, as she dazzled me wearing a stunning Edition by Georges Chakra Fall 2009 grey ombre dress with sequin bodice.

Black t-bar Louboutin’s and a black clutch complete this gorgeous look.

Theron’s mini me, Katie Cassidy looked sophisticated and demure wearing an ivory Lela Rose Spring 2010 halter dress which had a metallic silver print and waist band.

Her hair was loosely pulled back as she paired her dress with silver Jimmy Choo “Flynn” sandals.

Fabulous as always.

At first I didn’t quite like Juilanne Moore’s Calvin Klein Spring 2010 ivory, grey and black tank dress at first, but it’s slowing growing on me.

It’s not BDOTW worthy, but she makes it work for her.

I do love the texture.

Diane Kruger opted for a cute short sleeved Balenciaga blue, white and black printed dress with draping around the hips to define the waist.

I like the shape of her dress and the polka dot tights don’t bother me, but I so would’ve referred her to wear the runway version.

There has been a lot of rumors that Renee Zellweger and Carolina Herrera have parted ways, but this cherry red strapless pencil dress screams Carolina Herrera to me.

I love the bow detail on the back, which is accented with an gold jewel detail.

Becki Newton looks divine wearing a ivory corseted Dolce & Gabbana strapless dress with a flirty chiffon skirt.

I love her silver strappy sandals, but I’m drooling over her Chloe bow embellished clutch.

One of my many pet peeves are exposed bra’s - anywhere - this is not exclusive to the red carpet.

If Katie Holmes was going to show us her bra under her black sheer Azzedine Alaia ensemble she could’ve at least worn a push up bra.

Emily Blunt wore a nude tulle strapless Dolce & Gabbana nude strapless dress with a grosgrain waist belt tied into a cute bow.

Her accessories were very complementary to her look without being to matchy matchy.

Robin Wright Penn wore an Emporio Armani black tuxedo jacket and black satin skinny trousers, paired with open-toe Christian Louboutin heels.

I hope she reverts back to those wow-factor looks we saw from her at Cannes.

Dianna Agron wore a strapless D&G tulle dress with Burberry Prorsum platform heels.

These heels are so heavy for this pretty dress.

Brenda Strong’s black David Meister sheath dress is accented by an amazing crystal beaded neckline.

I could gush about that stunning neckline all day, as it’s so pretty.

Sofia Vassilieva looked so cute, in her age appropriate Ina Soltani white party dress with black leather strap details.

The lucky teen got to wear stunning Swarovski jewelry with her fabulous dress.

Another teen cutie Miranda Cosgrove wore a Vena Cava Mandala dress.

The two-tone crew-neck silk dress features a sheer chiffon yoke and asymmetrical metallic fringe and chiffon ruffles on the body.

I love the embellishments on this dress.

Cat Deeley normally always looks fabulous, but on this occasion she looks a hot mess.

Leave this look to those trashy D Listers Cat, you’re way better than this.

Whilst I don’t particularly have a problem with what Amber Rose to this event because she will never look anything but tacky to me, I did have a huge issue with her Ocotber Elle US magazine editorial which was more Maxim than Elle.

Of course it was style by Kanye West.

Elle, seriously, what were you thinking?

Cameron Diaz looked angelic as she was honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame yesterday.

The actress wore a gorgeous white Oscar de la Renta dress, teamed with striking red accessories including a belt from the Oscar de la Renta Resort 2010 collection.

The gorgeous dress featuring intricate embroidery on the yoke and skirt.

Cameron dedicated the accolade to her parents, and was cheered on by a host of celebrity pals.

Which of course included TomKat.

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes made an effort to be look super-cool in their casual looks.

Tom simply opted for a beige shirt and blue denims, Katie surprisingly wore a LnA top, Azzedine Alaia heels and a pair of ripped J Brand Zombie jeans, which nearly every A to Z lister has worn this summer.

Cameron Diaz’ Charlie’s Angel co-star Lucy Liu was also there to support her friend.

Lucy opted for a summery beige Max Azria dress with Jimmy Choo heels, gold leaf earrings and a golden clutch.

We’ve seen this type of pattern before, when it comes to Katie Holmes.

First she was obsessed with her Chloe Paraty Python Tote, then she couldn’t leave home without her Roger Vivier Mikado Flat Bag, now her first love is her white Valextra slim shopping bag.

Katie doesn’t seem to follow trends, if I see her wearing Balmain, I’ll fall off my chair. Instead she picks classic, understated pieces, that don’t shriek attention.

That’s very much the case with her luxurious white leather Valextra shopper, which is available for $2,500 from Barney’s, and also from Harrods in London.

What a magnificent way to start the week, with an amazing burst of colour.

Michelle Obama wore a Michael Kors magenta wool crepe gown, with an exquisite necklace, which had a magenta matching floral piece.

This is the second time within a week, Mrs. Obama has worn Michael Kors. The black gown she wore to the TIME 100 Gala last Tuesday in New York, was also by the American designer.

Kerry Washington arrived wearing a navy blue pleated J.Mendel Fall 2009 strapless gown, with stunning gold accessories.

The gown had a tiered peplum at the waist, and a mermaid hem.

I don’t think this is the most flattering dress for Kerry - especially from the long shot - but she still makes it work.

This taupe one-shouldered Versace Pre-Fall 2009 gown is simply gorgeous, as it skims the well toned body of Demi Moore.

Her look was complete with a matching Roger Vivier clutch, with sparkles with the embellished details on her gown.

Katie Holmes opted an ivory ensemble, including a blazer, satin top, and full-length skirt, from her co-designed Holmes-Yang collection.

Her event appropriate look was accented with gold Boucheron accessories.

Eva Longoria wore a frothy gown, with tiny spaghetti straps in this seasons hottest colour -nude.

The Ports 1961 gown is outstanding, but it feels like it’s completely swamping Eva’s tiny frame.

Mariska Hargitay wore an off-the-shoulder Carolina Herrera Spring 2009 black, white and grey lace chiffon gown, covered in floral appliqués.

Her sweeping updo, gave this gown the final touch of elegance, to complete this perfect look.

Alicia Keys wore a black and white Narciso Rodriguez Spring 2009 cocktail dress, with the signature black criss cross detail on the bodice.

Alicia lets the dress speak for itself, by only adding a black clutch to complete her look.

Amber Tamblyn would have been the center of attraction, wearing a vivid red Carolina Herrera Spring 2009 gown.

I love the way the ruffles cascade down the gown, plus the ruby drop earrings, but she lets herself down with her hair.

Natalie Portman wore a very interesting black Balenciaga Fall 2004 halter-neck gown.

The halter part is attached to the rest of the dress with 2 very thin straps.

Keisha Whitaker arrived with her husband Forest Whitaker, also wearing a vivid red gown, from the Badgley Mischka Pre-Fall 2009 collection.

Rashida Jones wore a LBD with flutter sleeves, and a ruffled detail going across the skirt.

She completes her look with a silver jewels, and Manolo Blahnik Pepe sandals.

Say what you want about Donatella Versace, for me she’s always impeccable.

This outstanding paillette covered nude self designed halter gown, is case in point. Already a contender for Best Dressed Of The Week.

Elizabeth Banks opted for a very subtle, understated look, wearing a teal one-shouldered Alberta Ferretti gown, accented with a silver bejeweled belt, which matched her leaf earrings and box clutch.

Tyra Banks’ look was too office chic for me. In a room full of luscious gowns, I expected much more from her.

I will say that her hair is a huge improvement from the Met Gala last week.

Glenn Close was so graceful wearing a white Giorgio Armani Spring 2005 gown, covered with black Asian text.

Wanda Sykes was one of the guest speakers of the night. She arrived in a navy blue silk suit, and her trademark hairstyle.

She had the guests rolling on the floor with laughter with her risky jokes. You can watch the video’s here.

I was so happy about Katie Holmes in her Jason Wu dress last night. I was desperate to see her full length, so imagine my disappointment to see that she wore leggings with her dress. Talk about stabbing me in the heart.

WHHHYYYYYY????? She really ruined this look for me, so much so that I wished I had never seen the full length now.

The only good thing about the full length is that we got to see her shoes. Katie wore a pair of multi-coloured Jerome C. Rousseau dragon suede pumps.

*weeps*

For some unknown reason, there’s not one single full length picture of Katie Holmes at the Japanese premiere of Valkyrie, and I have looked everywhere.

It seems like the photographers were more interested in her hair extensions, than her Jason Wu Fall 2009 dress.

I would have loved to have seen this dress full length, because this is a first time in a LONG time that Katie hasn’t dressed like a 60 year old woman - no offense.

The two tone strapless dress is colourful, young, fun and to be honest totally unexpected, plus I love the embellished bodice.

My hopes for the full length is that she is not wearing tights, nor kitten heels.

Hopefully someone will upload a full length soon, and I will update this photo.

Onto her hair. Katie arrived in Japan on Sunday with what’s become her trademark bob. Cut to today, and she hit the red carpet, with a fresh new ‘do.

As much as I liked the sophisticated bob, the longer locks I’m in love with. The reason is because I am hoping this will be a kick-start of a fresh new look for Katie.

It’s time she started dresses her age again.

Here hoping.

I much prefer the newer pictures of Katie Holmes for Miu Miu. Which makes me wonder why they released the worst one first.

The clothes are better, and she has more life in her cat eyes.

Miu Miu said that the inspiration behind the campaign, was set out to portray Katie Holmes as ‘a luminous icon radiating a sense of mystery and theatricality.’

Although these pictures are better, I still don’t think - as young Katie is - that she fits the Miu Miu brand. When I think of Miu Miu I think of young, quirky and Chloe Sevigny.

The photography was done by Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott.
