Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Last year we fell in love with Sienna Miller as she had finally said goodbye to boho chic and shook off her identi-Kate tag.

But it looks like her lust for Kate’s style is back.

Back in August Kate Moss was looking effortlessly gorgeous holidaying in the south of France with boyfriend Jamie Hince.

She was relax aboard a yacht posing wearing an Agent Provocateur denim and gingham check bikini with wayfarers whilst drinking and smoking.

As Kate was once the face of the brand, this bikini was no doubt a freebie.

These pictures of Kate would’ve been beamed around the world, so it’s kinda strange that Sienna Miller wore the same bikini on holiday in Barbados with Jude Law last month, as the comparisons would have been inevitable.

Both women have amazing bikini bodies, but Kate wins this for me. The wayfarers clinched it.

The Agent Provocateur denim bikini with red and white gingham trims – as modeled by Model Karen Elson – is available to purchase at Agent Provocateur.com.

The holiday season is upon us so that means we have another Kate Moss for Topshop Christmas collection to get excited about.

I was particularly in love with her Christmas 2008 collection with the sexy sequin dresses and sweeping gown, but this time Kate has given us something less predictable.

The collection consists of luxurious yet affordable oriental inspired pieces which are very sophistication.

Geisha tops, kimonos and cheongsam’s feature, but you can also get strapless party dresses for your office parties, and knits to keep you warm as temperatures plummet further.

For this collection Kate has added nightwear and lingerie which includes silky slips, vintage-style bras and panties.

The collection goes on sale today in selected stores nationwide and online at www.topshop.com.

We all know Kate Moss loves YSL bags, from the Downtown tote to the Muse bag.

She’s fronted many campaigns for YSL, but think her love goes deeper than being affiliated with the brand as she recently added a new bag to her collection – Yves Saint Laurent Le Sixième printed stingray bag.

Kate was in spotted in Paris recently looking effortlessly gorgeous wearing jeans and a blush shirt, as she and boyfriend Jamie Hince shopped at Prada before returning to the Ritz Hotel.

It was at this point we got to see her stunning new YSL bag.

Kate is the first celebrity to be seen with the YSL Le Sixième printed stingray bag, and I’m sure many others will follow.

The bag is currently begin sold exclusively via Net-A-Porter.com and YSL boutiques for £1,145/€1,395.

John Galliano

Dita von Teese attended the John Galliano show wearing a lavender embroidered Christian Dior Resort 2010 plunging dress which tied at the waist.

The beautiful star wore her dress with a lust worthy pair of silver Christian Louboutin Archidisco T-Strap sandals.

Katy Perry and Russell Brand officially showed that they were a couple at this event.

She glowed in the front row wearing a pink strapless gown which had a floral embroidery detail snaking around her waist.

Miu Miu

Kate Moss and boyf Jamie Hince were in the front row at Miu Miu.

On the penultimate day of Paris Fashion Week it was very hot, so I admire Kate for wearing a turtle neck leather dress which must have been extremely uncomfortable.

She paired her dress with Christian Louboutin Pigalle heels and a studded belt from her Kate Moss for Topshop collection.

Renee Zellwegger was at Miu Miu wearing a LBD.

If the rumours about her and Carolina Herrera no longer working together are true, Renee would have been shopping for a new BFF designer in Paris.

Giambattista Valli

The bold Leigh Lezark wore a Giambattista Valli peacock feather coat which makes her look like big bird from Sesame Street.

Elettra Rosselini’s look is more demure in a red dress with black heels.

YSL Spring 2010

My Paris Fashion Week adventure started at YSL.

I was invited to the YSL showroom to view the straight-off-the Spring 2010 runway collection.

The collection was laid out in 4 parts which represented the sweet country-style brand classic white blouses and peasant skirts to an urban utilitarian looks which included leather shorts which were slashed. A trend we’ve seen in other presentations.

One thing I could appreciate viewing the collection this way was Pilati expert tailoring.

There were many dresses which were above-the-knee, poufy and belted plus shirt-dresses were also included.

Pants were loose and high-waisted. Shorts were presented in both leather and toweling material plus pencil skirt were both khaki and leather.

Monsieur Laurent classic masculine looks with the feminine ambiguity were evident by the look Iris Strubegger wore including wide pants, a ruffle collared blouse and cropped tuxedo jacket.

I loved that the collection included coral pinks, cornflower blue and forest green, as Stefano Pilati usually favours a palette of black, white and grey.

When I viewed the Spring 2010 collection on Style.com I’ll admit I didn’t get the strawberry reference, so I asked what it represented.

The strawberries reference Yves Saint Laurent’s last Spring 2001 Haute Couture presentation in which Monsieur Laurent embroidered strawberries, pineapples and cherries to blouses.

Seeing the collection up close I also noticed that the black leather skirt also had strawberry appliqués.

Another benefit of seeing the collection up close is that you appreciate all the finer details.

Look 9 appears to be white dress trimmed with black leather ruffles, but they were actually 2 separate dresses.

Many of the YSL Fall 2009 bags had a “Y” sewn, so I loved that Look 39 had this same sewn in detail on the skirt.

The accessories were just as magnificent as the clothes.  Cuffs looked like tree bark and thorned vines.

The suede and leather sandals were studded, detailed with roses, trimmed with white leather and came in a variety of colours.

Kate Moss was one of the celebrities in the front row.

She arrived in a high end-high street mix of a YSL Fall 2009 dark grey coat/cape, paired with a sheer top, a black mini skirt and a studded belt from her Kate Moss for Topshop collection.

Katy Perry’s look was head-to-toe YSL as she paired the leather bustier with dark grey pants which she tucked into her boots.

Natalia Vodianova also arrived wearing a YSL leather-wool mix, pairing her look with a gorgeous pair of black crocodile YSL Imperiale pumps from the Fall 2009 collection.
