Longchamp Flagship Store Opening 14 Sept

Longchamp celebrated the opening of its London flagship store on Regent Street on Saturday evening, inviting a host of celebrity guests.

I was lucky enough to be invited and mingled with a host of celebrity guests across the three floors while being thoroughly entertained by Alexa Chung and Pixie Geldof, who were spinning the decks (see my pictures below).

Zoe Saldana: The beautiful actress, who is currently in London filming her next blockbuster ‘Guardian of the Galaxy’, looked effortless wearing a draped-front ivory silk blouse and shorts from Longchamp’s Spring 2014 collection, which she styled with a ‘Roseau Box’ clutch and taupe Louboutins. She was such a delight, happily posing for a picture for us.

Kate Moss: The model, who has a very strong connection with Longchamp having designed bags for the brand, was the one person who everyone wanted to see close up. She didn’t disappoint, wearing a sexy black keyhole romper with a unique whiplash leather belt, which she accessorized with a blue Kate Moss for Longchamp clutch for a pop of colour.

Alexa Chung: The DJ was in great spirits on the night, opting for a black vinyl Jonathan Saunders ‘Jemima’ bustier dress from the Fall 2013 collection to showcase her darker and sexier side, which she styled with a cute pair of houndstooth ankle-strap pumps. The ivory cardi was just for the red carpet.

Topshop Unique

A long line of trendsters turned out for the Topshop Unique Spring 2014 runway, hosted at the Topshop Show Space in London on Sunday, where the FROW head-turners had on their hautest high-low looks.

Kate Moss: The supermodel struck an effortless yet cool-girl note in grey-and-black, leopard-print trousers, paired with a black jacket and heather-grey sweater. Oversized sunglasses, black booties and a blue-ceder Kate Moss for Longchamp clutch popped more attitude into this look.

Ashley Madekwe: Rocking a fire-engine shade of red, the ‘Revenge’ actress continued to make the show rounds in a cozy Topshop Unique beige jacket (which actually photographed more like mint green) and matching Boutique fuzzy jumper thrown over those bold-hued Unique trousers. Minimal makeup and a scraped-back ’do finished off the fiery look.

Ellie Goulding: The British songstress took a tougher approach with a black leather blazer and black crop top, which seemed a bit too intense for her Topshop Boutique baby-blue skirt. Her criss-cross, black-patent Unique shoes brought a heavy edge back.

Kate Moss In Louis Vuitton - Louis Vuitton 'Timeless Muses' Exhibition

Kate Moss attended the Louis Vuitton ‘Timeless Muses’ exhibition held at the Tokyo Station Hotel in Tokyo, Japan earlier today.

The supermodel looked radiant wearing a soft-yellow Louis Vuitton Resort 2014 frock with bell sleeves, an asymmetrical hemline and rhinestone-studded details lining the neckline.

Kate has a tendency to work a scruffy-chic look, so it is refreshing to see her look sultry and glamorous off the pages of a magazine.

A black LV pouch and grey LV sandals from the Fall 2013 collection completed her look.

Who Wore Saint Laurent Better Kate Moss or Lady Gaga

We have seen the Saint Laurent Swarovski crystal-embellished stretch-mesh jumpsuit on both Kate Moss and Lady Gaga.

The two ladies wore the piece in very different ways.

Kate added a boyish Saint Laurent blazer and ankle boots while attending a party during Paris Fashion week back in March, while Lady Gaga took to the streets of Manhattan recently adding a bra and panties, accessorizing with Alaïa boots and a studded Alexander McQueen ‘Heroine’ bag.

This look doesn’t is quite shock-value piece.

I know the majority of you dislike this look, but I have to go with Kate on this occasion, even though I wish she had added a leather skirt to the look.

Kate Moss In Prada - Kate Moss for Carphone Warehouse Preview

Kate Moss attended the preview of a new range of tech accessories for Carphone Warehouse, which she exclusively designed for the high street brand.

She arrived at The Club at The Ivy in London yesterday afternoon, where the event was being held, wearing an off-the-shoulder Prada Fall 2013 belted frock with flared skirt and zipper detail.

Adding some colour to her look, her accessories included a Kate Moss for Longchamp zebra-print bag with Christian Louboutin ‘Arnold’ tri-colour patent-leather and mirrored-python sandals.

Had she not opted for the accessories, I may have bypassed this look.

The range of smartphone and tablet accessories goes on sale nationwide at Carphone Warehouse later this month.

Kate Moss Allure August 2013

Captured by Mario Testino wearing a Dennis Basso fox-fur-and-velvet shrug, Kate Moss is the gorgeous cover girl for Allure’s August 2013 issue.
The British model, who is the spokesperson for St Tropez and Rimmel, also wears a fox-fur Marc Jacobs coat and a goat-hair jacket by Adrienne Landau for her editorial.
The usually private model opens up to Allure about plastic surgery, rumours about her weight, and the best piece of advice she got from her ex Johnny Depp.

Allure’s August 2013 issue hits newsstands Tuesday, July 23. Here are some extracts from her interview. Read more over at Allure.com.

On tabloid rumors: “It was horrible, especially the anorexic thing. The heroin, I was like, ‘Oh, it’s just ridiculous; I don’t do heroin. Just because I wear a bit of black eyeliner that’s smudged . . . ‘ But the anorexic thing was a lot more upsetting, to be held responsible for somebody’s illness. I wasn’t anorexic.”

On her approach to fashion and beauty: “I try to be a little bit chic. I wouldn’t wear sweatpants. I wouldn’t wear a twinset.”

On her famed relationship with Johnny Depp: “Never complain, never explain.”

On being a celebrity: “Everyone’s a celebrity. But I’m kind of a celebrity now, so even though I’m not an actress, people know my name. I’m not just a face.”

On her daughter Lila: “She’s watched The Devil Wears Prada ten times, and she’s got a desk in her room with a phone… She puts a little outfit on and picks up the phone: ‘Hello, Miranda Priestly’s office.’ I say, ‘Lila, do you know who Miranda Priestly is in real life?’ But she just doesn’t care. She’s like, ‘Hello, Miranda Priestly’s office. Can you hold? Patrick Demarchelier on the line!’ I died when I heard her do it. So funny. She doesn’t have a clue who she is, but it’s word for word.”
