We can dress like Kate Moss via her TopShop collection and now we can smell like her.
I don’t know about you but I don’t find this appealing. Mostly because I imagine Kate to smell like an ashtray, as you hardly see her without a fag/cigarette in her mouth.
The official line is that the scent is floral musk, with top notes of orange blossom absolute, forget-me-not and pink pepper. The scent’s heart notes are lily of the valley, heliotrope, magnolia, peony, and rose petal. Base notes include sandalwood, musk, vetiver, ambret seeds and patchouli.
“When I put it on I want to feel fresh and light, and as the day goes on I want to feel sexier,” Kate told WWD.
I am still find it strange that this woman is held as role model, or someone we all want to emulate. The whole Copy-Kate thing is so over.
The fragrance will be available in Europe and Asia in September. The US will have to wait until the end of the year.

Kate Moss’ contracts are starting to falter. Kate has recently been dropped by Burberry from their latest advertising campaign in favour of younger British faces.
It follows lingerie brand Agent Provocateur axing the supermodel earlier this week.
But Donatella still has faith in the ageing Kate, and has heavily airbrushed her for Versace’s 2007 Autumn/Winter advertising campaign.
I am loving the electric blue of this campaign, but hating Kate’s hair.

The
Daily Mail have reported that Kate Moss’ £500,000 a year contract with Agent Provocateur is not being renewed.
I wonder, would it have anything to do with these photo’s taken of Kate the other day?

Bosses at Agent Provocateur said,
“Our current campaign with Kate comes to an end in August and we’ve already chosen our new face. It’s top-secret but she’s quite different. She’s not sexy in an overt way.”Source

Kate Moss has been the face of the brand since Spring 2006, here she is posing for the 2007 Fall campaign.
The cocaine scandal continues to do nothing but enhance her career.

Kate Moss launches her
Spring Summer 2007 range today. Yes I know the official launch was the
1st May when thousands queued on Oxford Street to catch a glimpse of the Supermodel, but apparently that was not the end of Kate’s designing talents.
The exciting thing about this second launch is the much sort after £50 white one-shouldered dress which was highly publicised but was not available in store.
Only Selma Blair was lucky enough to wear this dress.

New Yorker were obviously as desperate to get a piece of Kate Moss as us Londoners. In the picture above the woman is stripping the mannequins to get her hands on the most sought after piece of Kate’s collection, the floral print dress.
However, the scenes still did not rival the line’s London launch, which drew crowds of more than 1,000 shoppers at Topshop’s flagship store in Oxford Street.
In New York, around 150 women queued outside the upmarket department store for up to four hours.
Looks like a scandal only enhances your career as Kate’s stock (pardon the pun) has increased significantly since picture of her snorting coke appeared a UK paper.

Looks like a 5 year old dressed the window for the Kate Moss’ TopShop Launch at Barney’s New York.
Barneys will sell 26 of the 90 pieces from Kate’s collection and customers are also limited to buying 5 items per purchase as the was the case in the UK.
