Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge In Jonathan Saunders – Duke and Duchess Of Cambridge Visit Scotland

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge In Jonathan Saunders - Duke and Duchess Of Cambridge Visit Scotland

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, visited MacRostyy Park in Crieff today (May 29), as part of her and the Duke of Cambridge’s day in Scotland.

Perhaps surprising no one, she dressed in a familiar silhouette with her Jonathan Saunders Fall 2013 ‘Athena’ wool jacquard red stripe coat, which was seemingly worn over a matching red dress.

The vibrant ruby colour was lovely, and the mod ombre effect of the stripes a slight twist on the traditional of a solid hue, although I did wish that the runway’s belt had remained in place on Catherine for added structure and flair.

Her favoured nude LK Bennett shoes also made an appearance to complete the look.

Which Was Your Favourite Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge Australia and New Zealand Tour Look?

Catherine AustraliaCatherine Australia 2

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge spent three weeks touring Australia and New Zealand with her family, starting with a Catherine Walker coat dress and ending with a Michael Kors coat dress.

If you are like me, you went into this with absolutely no expectations.

If you were hopeful of her making a bold fashion statement or wearing a pair of shoes outside of her usual navy McQueen, black Prada, nude L.K. Bennett or Stuart Weitzman wedges, then perhaps you are very disappointed – or the word many of you used during this tour: bored.

If you are Australian or a New Zealander, you will have been very much miffed that her choice of local designers was very limited.

All in all, it was a safe, presentable, event-appropriate tour.

The look which stood head-and-shoulders above the rest for me was her yellow Roksanda Ilincic, with her Emilia Wickstead a close second.

Which did you favour?

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge In Michael Kors – Australian War Memorial

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge carried out the final official engagement of their New Zealand and Australia tour on Friday (April 25) morning.

The couple paid their respects to fallen soldiers by attending the ANZAC Day march and a commemorative service in Canberra before visiting the Australian War Memorial in the country’s capital.

Catherine wore another coat dress; this time she selected a blue and white tweed Michael Kors Spring 2014 coat dress.

Her accessories – including a navy hat by Australian milliner Jonathan Howard, a Russell and Bromley ‘Muse’ navy clutch and navy pumps – colour co-ordinated perfectly with her look and her husband’s navy suit.

Other accessories included a jewelled poppy brooch, a Cartier watch and an Asprey charm pendant.

Opting not to change, the royal family headed to Fairbairn Airbase to head back to the UK.

Knowing your feelings, this might seem like a redundant question, but was this tour a success fashion-wise?

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge In Lela Rose – Governor General Peter Cosgrove Reception

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge In Lela Rose - Governor General Peter Cosgrove Reception

Prince William, Duke of Cambridge and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge arrived with Governor-General Peter Cosgrove and Lady Cosgrove to a reception at Government House on Thursday (April 24) in Canberra, Australia.

Wearing her second look of the day, the Duchess looked delightful wearing a Lela Rose Spring 2013 dress.

This frock is the epitome of modern elegance, exuding sophistication with its delicate macramé lace at the peplum and the short sleeves.

Sadly, I’m not a fan of the accessories – especially the shoes, along with the bracelet, the watch and the clutch – with this look, which is such as shame because I adore the dress.

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge In Catherine Walker – Portrait Gallery Visit

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge In Catherine Walker - Portrait Gallery Visit

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge attended a reception at Parliament House and visited the Portrait Gallery on Thursday (April 24) in Canberra, Australia.

The Duchess opted for a coat dress again, this time from British designer Catherine Walker.

Her beautiful emerald-green belted piece, which appears to be a bespoke version of two looks which appear on Catherine Walker’s website, was of course styled with her favourite nude L.K. Bennett ‘Sledge’ pumps along with some complementary emerald earrings.

I know many of you have been totally unimpressed with Catherine during this tour. There have been a lot of coat dresses, so how does this one fare?
