Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Kate Mara was one of the many stars who wore a look right off the runway from New York Fashion Week for the 2012 Emmy Awards on Sunday evening.

The ‘American Horror Story’ actress stunned wearing a Badgley Mischka Spring 2013 gown.

Her metallic gold-and-blush Chantilly lace fishtail gown has shimmering crystal and petal embroidery.

The ethereal look was accessorized with Jimmy Choo ‘No Prive Strass’ heels and Lorraine Schwartz jewels.

Petty pink lips and a braided side-swept bun with a loose wavy section tumbling down one side completed herlook.

Kate Mara attended the ’10 Years’ brunch reunion event hosted by Anchor Bay Films at the Hotel Chantelle in New York City on Sunday.

The actress picked out a charming Miu Miu red stretch jersey dress with three-quarter-length sleeves, ruffled cuffs, ruffle detailing at the dropped waist, and a flared skirt.

Her cute dress was styled with a Dannijo statement collar necklace and Brian Atwood black suede pumps with a gold embellished heel.

Loose curls and pretty makeup provided the finishing touches.

We have seen Dianna Argon and Jessica Stam. Here are some more looks from celebrities who gathered to kick off the summer at the 2nd Annual ‘Summer Party on the High Line’ presented by Coach. 100% of the proceeds from the ticketed event went to the maintenance and operations of the High Line.

Kate Mara: The actress looked ready for the warm weather, combining a number of summer staples for her chic look. A sheer blouse is paired with white lace shorts, topped off with an adorable polka-dot blazer. I would not mind having every single one of these pieces in my closet. I wish Kate had chosen strappy sandals over wintery black pumps. A tan Coach Legacy Collection clutch complete the look.

Anna Kendrick: The ‘Twilight’ actress also went for a black-and-white look. Dressed in a white short sleeve shirt and black A-line skirt; an apple-green Coach Legacy Collection clutch and tan sandals provided some welcome colour.

Gretchen Mol: Here we have yet another summer LBD. This trend is really catching on. Like Anna, she also added an apple-green Coach Legacy Collection bag to her look. Her beige espadrilles say “hello summer”, whilst her dress says she’s not really ready to celebrate the official start of the season just yet.

The summer hasn’t been too kind to some of us, so our summer floral dresses and rompers have been put on temporary hold until temperatures rise.

Whilst out in New York City yesterday, Kate Mara found a way to inject a summery hue into her sunless summer look by carrying this Alexander McQueen coral mini ‘Folk’ tote.

The bag features whip-stitch leather detailing plus it has a leather logo embossed luggage label with a Swarovski crystal skull charm.

Carry as a shoulder bag or detach the strap and carry as a tote. Whatever you do, carry the piece with style.

I love how the bag complements her hair colour.

Kate Mara helped celebrate the launch of Salvatore Ferragamo’s latest fragrance, ‘Signorina,’ in New York City on Tuesday evening.

Staying true to the perfume’s floral theme, Kate chose a silk floral print dress from the designer’s Spring 2012 collection.

Her halterneck dress collects at the left hip with some wrap-around draping.

Tousled waves, a hot pink Ferragamo clutch and metallic pumps complete the look.

I wish she’d worn the red runway heels.

Miu Miu also had a celeb-packed front row yesterday.

Mia Wasikowska: The current face of Miu Miu was front and centre wearing a bi-colour pink-and-black dress with a flared skirt. This is a typically demure choice for the actress, but I wish she would opt for shoes in a colour other than nude just once.

Lea Seydoux: The French actress was in head-to-toe Prada, which is not surprising considering she’s the face of Prada’s Resort 2012 ad campaign. What is surprising is that she’s cut off all her lovely hair. I’m not sure if it is for a new role, or if she just fancied a change, but I did not recognise her. She donned an embroidered black Prada dress with her second pair of Prada flame heels, this time in green. A black flame clutch completed her look.

Katy Perry: The Paris Fashion Week Fall 2012 ‘Queen of the Front Row’ donned a cute pink Prada Spring 2012 flame-print pleated dress. I love her quirky accessories which include a blue Prada Saffiano Lux Pyramid bag with studs and the Prada flame sandals in lemon, but that hair goes from bad to worse.

Kate Mara: The actress opted for a rich, warm berry Miu Miu look featuring a leather trend with jewel button, worn over a top with a black Peter Pan embellished collar and shorts to match. I’m not so crazy about the fuchsia-pink Miu Miu peep-toes – they feel a tad stark against the berry – but I do like the leather pochette.
