Pierre Paulin x Louis Vuitton Exhibition Dinner

Louis Vuitton celebrate the 'PLAYING WITH SHAPES' Pierre Paulin Exhibitions

Louis Vuitton hosted a dinner party during Art Basel in Miami, Florida, on Tuesday (December 2) to celebrate the Pierre Paulin’s exhibition where the celebs were of course wearing Louis Vuitton.

Kate Hudson: I was surprised to see Kate in Louis Vuitton, as she doesn’t strike me as an LV girl under Nicolas Ghesquière’s leadership, yet she picked the right look for her style, donning an ultra-feminine colourful Resort 2015 frock styled with the brand’s signature clutch for the season, and thankfully shunning those LV Fall 2014 booties for a safe pair of nude Louboutin pumps. You may remember that Gisele Bündchen wore a similar dress in a more vibrant hue during the 2014 World Cup.

Michelle Williams: Is it a top or a dress? Either way, this Louis Vuitton Spring 2015 contrast-print zipper-accented piece is dangerously short yet I admire Michelle for not wearing this look with the lace leggings/tights. Michelle, like Charlotte Gainsbourg and Jennifer Connelly, continues to be a very loyal ambassador for the brand. This is yet another leap outside her comfort zone, but one she pulls off with ease.

Miranda Kerr: The model, who has been trying to work an edgier angle of late, would’ve been expected to select an uber-feminine mini frock like Kate, yet she didn’t do the predictable, selecting a head-to-toe LV Spring 2015 look with a bit more bite.

Kate Hudson In Paper London – Chrome Hearts Celebrates The Miami Project

Kate Hudson In Paper London - Chrome Hearts Celebrates The Miami Project

Kate Hudson attended Chrome Hearts Celebrates The Miami Project During Art Basel held at Miami Design District on Wednesday (December 3) in Miami, Florida.

The actress wore a Paper London ‘Oriata’ blush jumpsuit from the Spring 2015 collection, which oozes plenty of feminine and chic appeal, with its soft hue, fold-over textured detail, triple spaghetti straps, and wide-leg silhouette making this a flattering piece.

Adding a touch of glamour with oodles of gold accessories while keeping the hair simple with a top-knot, I covet this look from head to toe.

Kate Hudson In Zaid Affas – ‘Love In For Kids’ Benefit

Kate Hudson In Zaid Affas - 'Love In For Kids' Benefit

Kate Hudson attended her mother Goldie Hawn’s inaugural ‘Love In For Kids’ benefiting the Hawn Foundation’s MindUp programme, transforming children’s lives for greater success, held at Ron Burkle’s Green Acres Estate on Friday (November 21) in Beverly Hills, California.

Having seen this Zaid Affas Fall 2014 gown over the weekend, I was hoping that by today the white draped column gown would’ve grown on me.

No such luck.

I could imagine the likes of Cate Blanchett, Rooney Mara, Felicity Jones or Olivia Wilde would’ve sold it to me, but this minimalist look just doesn’t feel right for Kate.

I did ponder had her hair been up would that have made a difference, but I think not.

The look is just too bland for her and is also coming off a tad maternity.

Kate Hudson In Stella McCartney – 2014 Baby2Baby Gala

Kate Hudson In Stella McCartney - 2014 Baby2Baby Gala

Kate Hudson attended the 2014 Baby2Baby Gala presented by Tiffany & Co, which was held in her honour at The Book Bindery on Saturday (November 8) in Culver City, California.

The actress is more likely to favour blush hues or pastel shades, but here she selected a warm berry-hued Stella McCartney gown with fluid lines which exude sophisticated femininity, with the plunging neckline and cut-outs at the waist ensuring a high-octane after-dark look.

Sparkling with just a few Tiffany & Co diamonds, she completed her look with a dark-plum glitter Jimmy Choo ‘Mini Charm’ clutch and a simple ponytail.

Does this look have the potential to give her her second BDOTW win in a row?

Best Dressed Of The Week – Kate Hudson In Gucci Première, Jessica Chastain In Roksanda & Eddie Redmayne in Gucci

Best Dressed Of The Week - Kate Hudson In Gucci Première, Jessica Chastain In Roksanda & Eddie Redmayne in Gucci

Kate Hudson was your best dressed this week oozing glamour and elegance in her Gucci Premiere gown, while I was swept away by Jessica Chastain in a Roksanda fit-and-flare bubble jacquard frock.

This look came hot on the heels of a rare misstep for Jessica, so I was delighted to see her back on top form. She really is the girl of the moment.

For the fellas, Eddie Redmayne in Gucci was once again the winner. I considered David Beckham in Ralph Lauren, but was put off eventually by the creases in his trousers.

Kate Hudson In Gucci Première – 2014 LACMA Art + Film Gala

Kate Hudson In Gucci - 2014 LACMA Art + Film Gala

Joined by her beau, Matthew Bellamy, Kate Hudson took to the red carpet for the 2014 LACMA Art + Film Gala on Saturday (November 1) in Los Angeles.

Like JLo, Kate also had the honour of wearing a Gucci Première gown; hers was a soft rose silk chiffon one-shoulder gown featuring a twisted tulle overlay on a fully embroidered skirt and bodice which gave a faint glimmer as she walked the red carpet.

Enchanting and alluring in equal measures, Kate styled her look with a silver satin embroidered clutch, glossy tresses and a fuchsia-pink lip for a delightful pop of colour.

There were a lot of PBs happening on this red carpet. This is yet another. Picking a firm favourite from this bunch will be near impossible.
