Red Carpet Fashion Awards

The team at Harper’s Bazaar work very fast because last week they shot Kate Hudson in what appears to be at white themed Harper’s Bazaar editorial wearing Spring 2010 looks that had only just come off the runway.

Kate Hudson was a perfect vision in white as she posed for photographer Peter Lindbergh on the streets of Manhattan.

Kate looked like a blushing bride wearing a white organza tea length Marchesea Spring 2010 gown with embroidered tulle bodice, paired with white Christian Louboutin Lolo Ballerina pumps.

Whilst wearing the wedding-esqe gown she carried a bouquet of red roses with matched her lip colour.

This Versace Spring 2010 white and silver haltered dress was paired with the same platformed heels as presented on the runway, which you can just about see through the shopping cart.

Even behind the shopping cart she still sparkles.

Kate’s son Ryder shared the spotlight with his mother as she looked drop-dead gorgeous showing off her legs in an embellished Emilo Pucci Spring 2010 mini dress with a feathered hem.

Her look was paired with a white Bally bag and gold platform peep-toes.

I wonder which will be the cover shot.

Bergdorf Goodman

The biggest stars took to the stores here in New York for the biggest Fashion night out the world has ever seen.

My chin hit the floor when I saw Victoria Beckham – not all for good reasons.

Firstly she was not wearing a black pencil dress – SHOCKER.

Secondly she wasn’t wearing black period – minus her thigh high Gucci Fall 2009 boots.

Thirdly the dress wasn’t from her collection and lastly WOW.

Where did this woman come from? This isn’t slightly tedious VB we have been looking at for the last six months.

This is someone who wanted to shake off the boring tag and shock us all.

And she did.

Unfortunately I really didn’t like make-up, and I didn’t understand why she wore such an edgy look with a headband.

On the positive side I did like her modified Giles Fall 2009 reptile print strapless dress.

I don’t like to talk about weight on my blog, it’s number no no. But I’m sure many of you will debate her weight because she is looking a tad gaunt.

Oscar de la Renta Boutique

Sarah Jessica Parker wore her ‘Fashion’s Night Out’ tee with pride pairing it with a taffeta Oscar de la Renta asymmetrical skirt, and a black belt encrusted with diamante’s on the buckle.

I love the way she styled the tee.

Anna Wintour who organised this FNO event, showed her support for the cause by wearing the campaign t-shirt like SJP.

She paired the tee with a colour co-ordinating Prada Spring 2009 pencil skirt.

Ralph Lauren Women’s Boutique

Blake Lively turned down the sex kitten for a country chic head-to-toe Ralph Lauren look, wearing a grey embellished blouse with tweed vest and tan crocodile boots.

Camilla Belle – also in head-to-toe Ralph Lauren – went for a sexy chic look wearing a luxurious Pre-Fall 2009 grey wool one-shoulder dress with a pink crocodile belt, brown sandals.

I’m not so sure I like the longer hair, but her dress is spectacular on her.

Bloomingdale’s 59th Street Store

Lindsay Lohan wore an Emanuel Ungaro Spring 2009 Caribbean blue shirt as shirtdress paired with leggings, sky high heeled ankle boots and a trilby hat.

Macy’s Herald Square

Debra Messing looked fabulous wearing a one-sleeved charcoal Michael Kors Fall 2009 herringbone origami dress.

I love the thinner belt she wore with the dress, and the sculptured shoulder.

Vogue Pop Up Boutique at Macy’s Queens

Across town Kate Hudson was also wearing a dress from the Michael Kors Fall 2009 collection.

Her espresso check strapless dress also had origami details on the bodice.

Giuseppe Zanotti Boutique

Channeling her inner Grace Jones, Rihanna looked fierce sporting a hooded Alexander Wang cowl-neck mini dress with a pair of studded sunglasses at night, and Giuseppe Zanotti boots.

Dior Boutique

Charlize Theron was of course on hand to provide the star power to the Dior Boutique.

The actress looked outstanding from her perfectly coiffed hair to her Dior heels.

I just love her silvery blue Dior strapless dress. Hollywood glamour at its very finest.

Victoria’s Secret Lexington Store

Miranda Kerr looked uber cute wearing a colour blocking Stella McCartney Pre-Fall 2009 dress we have previously seen on Kate Walsh.

2005 seems like a life time ago, but that’s when Kate Hudson first wore this metallic Roberto Cavalli strapless gown when she walked the red carpet for “The Skeleton Key” London Premiere.

The strapless gown is alluring with its golden colour, pleats and knotted bodice detail.

Kate casually accessorized her look with gold bracelets, and keeps her hair and make-up simple in order for the gown to do all the talking.

Lisa Rinna wore the same dress 4 years almost to the day, when she attended the “HollyRod Foundation’s 2009 DesignCare event honoring Michael J. Fox”.

She accessorized with a matching metallic clutch and a gold bracelet.

Kate wins this easily for me. Rinna’s orange glow cheapens the gown.

Blade at Miami Beach’s Fontainebleau Hotel

Kate Hudson looked bootylicious in a figure-hugging white Herve Leger bandage dress whilst having a night out with boyfriend A-Rod this weekend.

The dress showed-off her gorgeous curves, but I’m still not loving her brunette locks.

Self Magazine July 2009 L.A. Issue Party, LA

Speaking of fabulous bodies. Every time I see AnnaLynne McCord she makes me feel guilty for not working out more because she has an amazing toned body.

The actress opted for a dark chocolate brown dress with a black shoulder strap and strappy sandals.

I’m loving her silver dangling earrings.

“Whatever Works” Paris Premiere

Evan Rachel Wood was suitably chic for the Paris premiere of her new film “Whatever Works”, looking effortlessly gorgeous wearing a stunning black D&G dress with open shoulders and plunging neckline.

Her look was paired with matching black Louboutin peep-toes and a glittering House of Lavande diamante bracelet .

Rachel’s smoky eye make-up adds to the sultry feel to her look. The only thing I don’t like is her tattoo on her ankle.

“The Narrows” New York Premiere

I’m not really crazy about Sophia Bush’s look. I would have expected a lot more from her for her premiere.

The beautiful brunette wore a silver round neck tulip dress with a black patent YSL Fall 2008 belt and YSL Trib Two heels.

2nd Annual Veuve Clicquot Manhattan Polo Classic , New York

Chloe Sevigny arrived at this event wearing the same Chloé scallop short suit, she also owns in a camel colour.  I much prefer this lighter beige version on her.

The quirky style maven totally rocks her Mary Poppins straw boater, without looking ridiculous.  On anyone else we’d accuse them of trying to hard. On Chloe, its effortless.

Her other finishing touches include a tan clutch, Chloe Suede multi strap wedges, and red lippie.

Channeling he inner JLO, Kate Hudson worked a huge straw hat and oversized sunglasses, with a summery ivory belted, pleated dress, and nude wedges.

First Leighton Meester goes blonde, now Hudson goes brunette. Like Leighton, I hope this change is temporary.

Vegas Magazine’s Sixth Anniversary, Las Vegas

Heather Graham sparkled wearing a Hervé Léger Camille asymmetrical beaded mini dress which showed show off sexy killer legs.

Despite this Hervé Léger dress costing £6,560, it sold out on Net-A-Porter within minutes. So despite many growing tired of the brand, it’s still selling like hot cakes.

Her accessories included a gold necklace, a gold bag, and Jimmy Choo Flynn sandals.

“Land Of The Lost” Los Angeles Premiere

Brit actress Anna Friel wore a grey asymmetric Osman Yousefzada dress, with a sexy thigh-high split.

She couldn’t resist showing off her legs, and her Gucci Lucy platform heels.

Her look was complete with a gold belt to cinch her in at the waist, and a gold Lara Bohinc choker.

Amy Brenneman wore a pastel teal Moschino Pre-Fall 2009 chiffon babydoll dress. I’m not at all crazy about her shoe choice, as it doesn’t do the dress any justice, but I love ruffled hem detail, and her silver jewelry.

You may recognise this dress, as Olivia Palmero wore it during Cannes Film Festival.
