Kate Hudson In Balmain – ‘Clear History’ LA Premiere

Kate Hudson In Balmain - 'Clear History' LA Premiere

Kate Hudson attended the premiere of HBO Films’ ‘Clear History’ held at ArcLight Cinemas Cinerama Dome in Hollywood, California, yesterday evening.

It was just yesterday I was commenting on Amanda Seyfried’s look saying that we don’t see many denim dresses on the red carpet, and here we have our second in a row.

Kate wore a Balmain Resort 2014 denim short-sleeve mini dress featuring a patchwork design, embroidered details, embellishments and extra crossover detail on the skirt – in short, there is a hell of a lot going on here.

I would never have picked this for Kate in a million years, but she surprises me by carrying this look off very well. The skirt could’ve given her a hip-widening effect, but being the red carpet pro that she is, she knows that crossing her legs will have a slimming effect on her hips.

The only thing that would’ve made this look better is possibly wearing her hair back, otherwise I feel very indifferent towards the look, neither really loving or hating it.

Dana Rebecca Designs jewels, a silver Jimmy Choo ‘Carmen’ clutch and Casadei nude suede pumps completed her look.

Kate Hudson In Elie Saab – Novak Djokovic Foundation London Gala Dinner

Kate Hudson In Elie Saab - Novak Djokovic Foundation London Gala Dinner

Kate Hudson attended the Novak Djokovic Foundation London gala dinner at The Roundhouse in London yesterday evening.

The Californian girl with a sunny disposition opted for moody colours on this occasion, wearing an Elie Saab Spring 2013 chocolate-brown chiffon embellished dress with a high-low hemline.

Not content with the sparkle on her frock, she added Christian Louboutin spiked accessories, including the ‘Geo’ pumps and ‘Mina’ clutch.

Smoky eyes, a dark-fuchsia lip colour and a simple bun completed her look.

Someone else could’ve made me love this look, but it doesn’t work for me on Kate. It’s not summery or bubbly enough for her.

Kate Hudson In Smythe – Goop Launches The Summer Season

Kate Hudson In Smythe - Goop Launches The Summer Season

Kate Hudson joined her good friend Gwyneth Paltrow at the Arts Club in London’s Mayfair yesterday evening for Gwynnie’s Goop party to launch the summer season.

Inspired by her Ann Taylor capsule collection, Kate worked an all white look which was perfect for the theme of the occasion – though maybe not so much for the gloomy weather we are having in the capital.

Kate wore an white top and pants with a Smythe sharp-shoulder metallic-coated linen blazer.

The look is very effortless and perfectly laidback for such an occasion; however, her accessories made me go ‘hmmm’.

I never did like those Casadei triple-stacked pumps, and the python bag is to casual for her look.

The quartz necklace and fuchsia lip colour work, but I still feel like this look is missing something. Perhaps if she had the right arm candy I wouldn’t feel this way.

Kate Hudson In Michael Kors & Barbara Bui – Late Show With David Letterman

Kate Hudson In Michael Kors & Barbara Bui - Late Show With David Letterman

Kate Hudson was spotted arriving at the Ed Sullivan Theater in New York City yesterday afternoon for her guest appearance on the ‘Late Show with David Letterman’.

For her arrival she wore a Michael Kors Pre-Fall 2013 look, which featured a fuchsia-pink knit top and black plongé pencil skirt.

The white-shoe trend was kept very much alive with this look.

For show time, the actress opted to keep the pink and black elements of her first look going, wearing a Barbara Bui Fall 2013 drop-waist long-sleeved silk-and-leather dress, which she styled with fuchsia-pink Barbara Bui pumps.

Both looks were styled with barely there makeup and beachy waves.

I love the touches of pink in both looks, but the Barbara Bui wins me over here.

Kate Hudson In Jenny Packham - 'Reluctant Fundamentalist' Tribeca Film Festival Premiere

Kate Hudson attended the ‘Reluctant Fundamentalist’ premiere during the 2013 Tribeca Film Festival in New York City on Monday evening.

It’s not often we see a knit dress on the red carpet, but Kate rocked this white knee-length cable-knit Jenny Packham frock from the Fall 2013 collection.

Of course, this isn’t just any old knit dress; this one was fully embellished to ensure it wasn’t only her beauty and smile dazzling on the red carpet.

Casadei ivory pumps and a black Jimmy Choo ‘Carmen’ clutch completed her look.

Kate is on a roll at the moment. I think she pulls off this knit dress.

Best Dressed Of The Week – Kate Hudson In Reem Acra, Chris Pine In Louis Vuitton & Zachary Levi In Vivienne Westwood MAN

BDOTW 22 April

Kate Hudson was the runaway winner for this week’s Best Dressed, wearing a heavenly Reem Acra gown.

Her sweetheart-neckline gown, which was impeccably styled, couldn’t have been more perfect for the Tiffany & Co. Ball.

The biggest surprise was that Eddie Redmayne didn’t win the menswear vote; you picked the gorgeous Chris Pine, who looked dapper in his double-breasted Louis Vuitton suit.

I loved Zachary Levi wearing a slick Vivienne Westwood MAN grey slim-fit suit with a bold yellow tie.

Kate Hudson In Reem Acra – Tiffany & Co. Blue Book Ball

Kate Hudson In Reem Acra - Tiffany & Co Blue Book Ball

Following her simple-yet-sexy look earlier in the week, Kate Hudson dialled up the glamour a few more notches for her stunning red carpet look for the Tiffany & Co. Blue Book Ball, held at the Rockefeller Center in New York City yesterday evening.

The blonde beauty opted for a Tiffany-blue Reem Acra Resort 2013 gown.

Her sweetheart-neckline gown, featuring a tie detail and side slit, was styled with Tiffany & Co. jewels, nude peep-toes and a cream clutch.

Glossy side-swept waves and a pretty pink pout completed her BDOTW-worthy look.

I have always loved Kate’s style, but this particular flaw-free run, which started for me at Venice Film Festival, has been her best yet.
