Demi Lovato Launches Fabletics Capsule Collection

Demi Lovato was on hand to launch her Fabletics capsule collection on Tuesday (May 10) in Beverly Hills, California, with Fabletics co-founder Kate Hudson also in attendance.

Demi Lovato: It was lovely to see Demi embrace the fresh, summery spirit of this Giambattista Valli Spring 2017 off-the-shoulder, floral-printed frock that maintained a dainty lightness of form and a girly attitude.

Kate Hudson: Although this patterned Coach 1941 Pre-Fall 2017 look could have easily been worn in the fall season, especially with those tights, I still loved the dress’s sweet edge on Kate. I can only imagine she decided to style the frock with platform heels to enhance its youthful quirkiness.

Goldie Hawn & Kate Hudson In Michael Kors Collection – ‘Snatched’ LA Premiere

After the Hollywood Walk of Fame unveiling last week, Goldie Hawn and Kate Hudson were back on the red carpet together for the ‘Snatched’ LA premiere on Wednesday (May 10).

Goldie Hawn: Her custom Michael Kors Collection cold-shoulder gown shimmered beautifully with its sequined spin on abstracted animal print for a sophisticated approach tha fit her like a glove.

Kate Hudson: Also in a custom Michael Kors Collection look, Kate opted to bring in the sequins via embellished, flared pants tempered by a flowy black blouse with fringe ties. An Edie Parker clutch and a bit of shiny metallic eye makeup finished the look.

I love how these two looks were unified by their embellishment yet stood alone in their unique representations of both Goldie and Kate’s style personality.

Goldie Hawn In Cinq à Sept & Kate Hudson In Jonathan Simkhai – Hollywood Walk of Fame Unveiling

Growing up watching Goldie Hawn movies, I was excited to see that the bubbly blonde alongside her long-time partner Kurt Russell were finally honored with a double star ceremony on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Thursday (May 4) in Hollywood, California. You know, years after the Olsen twins and Britney Spears.

I love how this Cinq à Sept flamenco style floral-print dress matches Goldie’s carefree spirit. I don’t believe plain and boring make up any part of her repertoire.

Kate Hudson was of course on hand to celebrate this long overdue occasion; also bringing forth the sunny side of her style wearing a Jonathan Simkhai dress possessing an easy elegance which despite its own merits allowed the lady of the hour to shine.

Kate Hudson & Naomi Watts In Stella McCartney – 2017 Met Gala

Kate Hudson and Naomi Watts were the yin and yang of the 2017 Met Gala on Monday (May 1) in New York City.

Both dressed in Stella McCartney, they certainly took the prize for minimalist-chic, cool-girl looks of the night.

Kate Hudson: Her asymmetric white gown captured my affection for its sleek silhouette juxtaposed against the robe-like sleeve. It’s nothing we haven’t seen before, but it fit her like a dream and her powdered, platinum updo added just the right thematic finish.

Naomi Watts: She played the sophisticated-sultry siren in this mesh-laced black gown, styled with an on-trend wavy bob for a girl-meets-glam statement—with an edge.

Kate Hudson In Cavalli Couture – 2017 Vanity Fair Oscar Party

Kate Hudson attended the 2017 Vanity Fair Oscar Party on Sunday night (February 26).

The actress wore a champagne-colored lace Cavalli Couture gown with diamond jewels and a copper-toned clutch.

I really want to like this look, I do, but somehow the proportions just strike me wrong. The lace tiering is beautiful, but along with the ultra low neckline, it just seems a bit off to me.

Her fresh-faced makeup and textured French twist are stunning and well-suited to the gown, but they just can’t redeem what doesn’t sit right with me.

What do you think–am I crazy, or is this just not doing it for you, either?
