Front Row @ Valentino Spring 2018 Couture

The Valentino Spring 2018 Couture show was on Wednesday (January 24) during Paris Fashion Week, with a front row featuring plenty of Valentino beauties.

Kate Hudson: The actress has been serving up some sweet looks lately, and this Valentino Pre-Fall 2018 frock stay right in line with that girly vibe by virtue of its short length styled with dotted tights and platform shoes. Yet, her sleek hair and elegant earrings reflected the sophistication of the sculpted bodice, preventing the look from becoming too twee.

Shailene Woodley: While this Valentino Pre-Fall 2018 flared mini was certainly on the short side, I loved seeing Shailene have some flirty, youthful fun with fashion. The boots were the right way to wrap up this leopard-print dress—and even though they hit at mid-ankle, her legs still looked a mile long.

Lake Bell: Red was Lake’s colour du jour in this Valentino Spring 2018 number, where she fully committed to the hue from head to toe. It was undoubtedly striking despite its inherent quirkiness—and my wish that the poncho-style dress had a bit more shape.

Kate Hudson In Valentino – 2018 SAG Awards

Kate Hudson turned heads at the 2018 SAG Awards on Sunday (January 21) in Los Angeles, California, joining Yara Shahidi and Laura Linney.

We’ve seen the actress embrace different styles since shaving her head, yet this Valentino Pre-Fall 2018 gown was not something I expected from her.

Once I analyzed it more, it recalled the sweet femininity of her Stella McCartney separates she wore at her last appearance.

The heart-decorated dress was romantic, playful and Victorian all wrapped up with a black bow.

The Forevermark jewels and soft makeup prevented it from being cutesy.

Stella McCartney’s Autumn 2018 Collection Launch

Stella McCartney’s Autumn 2018 collection launch on Tuesday (January 16) in Los Angeles, California was brimming with bold fashion.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley: The model looked like a yummy mummy in her one-shouldered knit and vegan leather trousers. The autumnal shades and materials are luxurious, and the gold accessories only heightened the feel. That’s why it’s a shame about the semi-sheer top.

Kate Bosworth: I’m sure there will be many people who will want to rip this macramé strap off. It makes me feel a bit better that it’s part of a bag, but coupled with the short-sleeved blazer, there’s a touristy vibe I find difficult to shake off. I’m further let down by the rumpled trousers. Not her best.

Katy Perry: The singer went for extreme volume in an asymmetrical red dress. I’m afraid her colourful makeup and accessories only enhance the cartoonish feel of the look — and not in the best way. Now we know why Annabelle Wallis belted the gown at The 2017 Fashion Awards.

Kate Hudson In Valentino Couture – 2018 Golden Globe Awards

Bringing the sheer trend straight away into 2018, Kate Hudson attended the 2018 Golden Globe Awards on Sunday (January 7) in Beverly Hills, California.

The black dress code did not keep the actress from exploring her seductive side in this Valentino Fall 2017 Couture lattice gown.

It’s not as if she needed help to drive attention to the plunge neckline, but her glamorous diamond pendant necklace certainly did the trick.

Yay or nay?

Jenna Dewan-Tatum & Jennifer Meyer’s Gilt.com Jewelry Launch Benefitting Baby2Baby

Jennifer Meyer and Jenna Dewan-Tatum launched an exclusive jewelry collection benefitting Baby2Baby with Gilt.com on Thursday (December 7) in West Hollywood, California.

Jennifer Meyer: The jewerly designer kept things simple in a asymmetrical LBD and a few delicate pieces from her own collection.

Kate Hudson: I adore Kate’s Preen Spring 2018 two piece look, as it’s a celebration of all that I love about the London-based brand: colourful floral print, ruffles and levels of asymmetry. I just wish she had opted for a sandal.

Jenna Dewan-Tatum: This fitted pink dress from Zac Posen makes the ultimate feminine statement with its intricate embroidered accents and a figure-enhancing fluted hem. Silver Giuseppe Zanotti sandals dazzle as brightly as her co-designed Jennifer Meyer jewels.

Kate Hudson In Michael Kors – The Michael Kors ‘Watch Hunger Stop’ Dinner

Michael Kors hosted the ‘Watch Hunger Stop’ dinner with Vogue Japan in Tokyo on Monday (November 13) with one of his favourite girls, Kate Hudson.

I love how the sequinned and beaded constellation is beautifully cast against a sheer mesh background of her Michael Kors Spring 2018 bodysuit which is paired with a paillette slashed ruffle skirt.

Kate’s style does feel like it’s taken a new direction since her hair cut, but has always been one of those stars who can move from boho, to sexy to movie star glamour seamlessly with each step feeling authentic.

Her version of sophisticated glamour goes down very well with me.

Gianvito Rossi ‘Plexi Sling’ pumps completed her look.

Kate Hudson In Pamella Roland – Goldie’s Love In For Kids

Kate Hudson stepped out to support mother Goldie Hawn’s annual ‘Goldie’s Love In For Kids’ on Friday (November 3) in Beverly Hills, California.

Minimalist in silhouette yet offering up a more dazzling attitude in its sequined, milky moonstone radiance, this Pamella Roland Spring 2018 figure-skimming gown was very much within Kate’s wheelhouse.

I do think the sleeves were kind of long here, as they interfered with the sleek, high-impact effect.
