Kate Bosworth In Christian Dior - Art of Elysium Heaven Gala

Kate Bosworth made her first red carpet appearance of 2014 at the Art of Elysium ‘Heaven’ Gala held at Skirball Cultural Center on Saturday (January 11) in Los Angeles, California.

The actress wore a Christian Dior Spring 2014 frock for the occasion which I loved on the runway, but I’m not quite feeling that same love on Kate.

Maybe it’s the length of this pale-blue embellished and pleated frock on Kate, or maybe the accessories are a tad bland, but this is just OK for me when I expected it to be great.

A simple ponytail and a hot-red lip rounded out her look.

Kate Bosworth In Fendi - 'Homefront' Las Vegas Premiere

Returning back to her best, Kate Bosworth attended the premiere of ‘Homefront’ held at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada yesterday evening.

The actress opted for a shimmering Fendi Spring 2014 geometric Swarowski crystal embellished strapless frock with a nipped-in waist and loose-fit skirt.

Dialling up the glamour and bedazzlement several notches, she complemented her dress with H. Stern jewels – including an amazing pair of drop-crystal earrings – metallic-silver Christian Louboutin ‘So Kate’ pumps and a silver Fendi clutch.

A bright-pink lip colour prevented the look from feeling too one note, with a stylish side-swept ponytail completing the look.

Is there such a thing as too much bling, or does this look sweep you off your feet?

Kate Bosworth In Alexander McQueen - 'Homefront' LA Press Conference & Photocall

Kate Bosworth attended the ‘Homefront’ Los Angeles press conference and photo call held at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills, California yesterday afternoon.

The actress wore a white-and-ivory Alexander McQueen Resort 2014 crop top and high waist skirt with patch pockets and multiple buckle belts which had me thinking of a straitjacket.

Usually I’m a huge fan of Kate’s red-carpet styling, but I can’t get on board with this look.

Not the ensemble and definitely not the white Christian Louboutin ‘Iriza’ pumps

It’s a rare head-to-toe no from me.

Kate Bosworth's Three Winter Coats In Three Days

Kate Bosworth had a busy week in New York City, all in the name of promoting her new film, ‘Big Sur.’ But when she wasn’t walking a red carpet, giving an interview, or attending Lucky Magazine’s two-day East Coast FABB conference, you could just as easily have spotted the actress hitting the streets in a great winter ensemble. More specifically, Kate has proven, in just two days, that her coat closet is already stocked with some gems.

Starting with Monday’s first look, Kate touched upon one of the season’s more popular styling themes: winter white.

On top, she wore a leather coat from her Topshop capsule, ‘The Collection Starring Kate Bosworth,’ and paired it with its white leather sweater ‘Collection’ counterpart. Her black skinny jeans and Topshop ‘Aleta’ monk-strap boots gave the outfit its tougher downtown-girl edge, while her beloved Burberry Prorsum ‘Dinton’ tote from the Fall 2013 collection provided an irreverent dash of whimsical luxury.

Note: this won’t be the last you see of her ‘Dinton’ bag. Aside from her loyalty to Topshop wares and covet-worthy coats, this seems to be Kate’s accessory du jour, and I have to admit, it’s quite a fun one at that. There’s not a lot of times I would condone an all-over heart motif, but this works.

Now, back to that same Monday, she switched to a tweedy-looking brown coat with oversized lapels, which she topped off with a light blue chain-strap Carven bag and grey Jimmy Choo pumps. Underneath (and sort of peeking through) is this Alexander McQueen dress, but we wouldn’t see its loveliness until the coat came off later. I guess a little mystery is always good, and in this case, Kate’s polished outerwear was the perfect complement to her McQueen look.

Finishing out this two day tour de force of coat-wearing excellence, Kate donned yet another piece from her Topshop capsule, ‘The Collection’: a navy blue sheepskin boyfriend coat. Admittedly, this is her most laid-back styling of the three looks, but the sumptuous texture of the coat paired with her Karen Walker ‘Deep Freeze’ sunglasses and (once again) her Burberry Prorsum ‘Dinton’ tote made it just as stylish as the previous two.

Consider this three easy ways to dress for the cold without veering into puffer coat-turn-Michelin Man territory. Do you like Kate’s winter-coat styling?

Kate Bosworth In Christopher Kane - 'Big Sur' New York Premiere

After promoting her new movie, ‘Big Sur’, on SiriusXM radio earlier in the day, Kate Bosworth headed to the Sunshine Landmark in New York City for the premiere with her hubby Michael Polish, who directed the movie, yesterday evening.

Opting for another British designer, the actress wore a Christopher Kane Spring 2014 drape dress featuring an embellished halter neckline and waist detail, with simple styling including black Casadei pumps, a matching black clutch and jewels from Ana Khouri which included an ear cuff.

We’re well used to Kate wearing her hair down, but on this occasion she deciding upon a chic braided updo which was not only refreshing but ensured the dazzling neckline was kept as the focus of this look, as it should be.
