Kate Beckinsale In Donna Karan – Elyse Walker’s Pink Party

Kate Beckinsale In Donna Karan - Elyse Walker’s Pink Party

Kate Beckinsale attended Elyse Walker Presents The Pink Party 2013 hosted by Anne Hathaway at Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California on Saturday evening.

The British actress looked radiant, wearing a red Donna Karan Resort 2014 draped-dress, opting not to take the name of the event as the dress code for the party.

Sporting her favoured high, wavy ponytail, the big news here for regular readers is that Kate is wearing sandals—yay.

The actress, who usually only wears pumps no matter what she’s wearing, pleasantly surprised me by accessorizing with Casadei black-and-gold strappy sandals along with Pluma bracelets, a black Jimmy Choo ‘Candy’ clutch and Joan Horing earrings.

Kate Beckinsale In Oscar de la Renta & Elie Saab Couture – Qingdao Oriental Movie Metropolis Ceremony

Kate Beckinsale In Oscar de la Renta & Elie Saab Couture - Qingdao Oriental Movie Metropolis Ceremony

Kate Beckinsale joined Nicole Kidman for the launch ceremony of the Qingdao Oriental Movie Metropolis in Qingdao, China earlier today.

Her first look was an ultra chic two-piece Oscar de la Renta Spring 2014 ivory dress with a black jersey waist, which was pepped up with red-hot Brian Atwood ‘Cassandra’ pumps. I just love the retro styling with the chic bouffant accented with a black headband.

Upping the style stakes for the second look; the British actress wore a beautiful nude Elie Saab Couture gown from the Fall 2012 collection featuring a high-neckline, open back and gold appliqués which she styled with nude Brian Atwood ‘Wagner’ peep-toes (shockingly, as she hardly ever wears peep-toes), dazzling jewels and a high ponytail.

This may surprise you, but I adore the first look. Mostly because it’s such a different look for her, but also the red pumps sell this look to me.

It’s great to see her back on the red carpet.

Kate Beckinsale In Alberta Ferretti – ‘Star Trek Into Darkness’ LA Premiere

Kate Beckinsale In Alberta Ferretti - 'Star Trek Into Darkness' LA Premiere

Working the best footwear on the red carpet at the Dolby Theatre in LA for the ‘Star Trek Into Darkness’ premiere last night was Kate Beckinsale.

Sadly, this was the most memorable thing about her look, considering her Alberta Ferretti Pre-Fall 2013 black strapless dress with an asymmetrical hem doesn’t provide much of a talking point other than that it is very similar in style to her Met Gala dress by the same designer.

Irit jewels and a updo completed her look.

Kate Beckinsale In Alberta Ferretti – 2013 Met Gala

Kate Beckinsale took to the red carpet Monday night to support the Metropolitan Museum of Art at its annual Met Gala in New York.

The actress wore a pink frock from Alberta Ferretti with an Edie Parker clutch.

Wearing pink, the unofficial colour of the evening, Kate looked fantastic in a strapless, asymetrical, high-low dress.

Kate added punk accents via strappy shoes, and statement gold and silver geometric earrings and a matching ring.

And of course, we can’t forget her sexy meets sophisticated meets undone slept-in-my-makeup smokey eye that paired so well with her volume-injected mohwak.

Kate Beckinsale In Parker – 2013 TCM Classic Film Festival Opening Night Gala

Kate Beckinsale In Parker - 2013 TCM Classic Film Festival Opening Night Gala

Kate Beckinsale attended the ‘Funny Girl’ screening during the 2013 TCM Classic Film Festival Opening Night at TCL Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles, California wearing a very different look than we are used to seeing from her.

The queen of all things pretty and uber feminine stepped far out of her comfort zone, opting for a sharp Parker suit on this occasion, much to my surprise.

This is something I would expect to see worn by Karolina Kurkova or Solange Knowles, but I think Kate pulls off the look featuring avant-garde lapels, a black solid back and optical print – which adds a futuristic edge – rather nicely.

Styling the suit with a solid top was the best option, as was the simple accessories, which included sky-high Louboutins and a black Me Char clutch.

A bouffant bun and statement earrings provided the finishing touches.

Yay or nay?

Who Wore Gucci Better…Kate Beckinsale, Bipasha Basu or Gracie Otto?

Who Wore Gucci Better

For the Golden Globes InStyle After-Party, British actress Kate Beckinsale chose a Gucci Spring 2013 gown in a pretty pink colour over the saffron runway version.

Her ruffled column gown was styled with gold accessories, with her brunette locks swept up into an effortless bun.

Two weeks later, Bipasha Basu attended the 2013 Stardust Awards in Mumbai wearing the same dress in the runway hue, sadly over-accessorizing with an opulent necklace.

Four days later, the same gown hit the red carpet in Sydney, Australia courtesy of Gracie Otto. She opted for the minimalist route, simply adding a Gucci ‘Aristographic’ clutch from the same Spring 2013 collection.

Kate wins for me as I adore the gown in pink and her styling of this look; however, if I could ever afford this gown I would select the saffron hue.
