2014 LACMA Art + Film Gala Red Carpet Roundup

2014 LACMA Art + Film Gala Red Carpet Roundup

Here is a quick roundup of a few of the other Gucci-clad stars and a few others who attended the 2014 LACMA Art + Film Gala on Saturday (November 1) in Los Angeles.

Kate Beckinsale: Working an unfamiliar silhouette yet still oozing with glamour, the British actress wore a Gucci one-of-a-kind mauve gown featuring jewelled detailing, a high side slit and an open back. Swapping her favoured ponytail for a high bun, Kate styled her look with a Kotur clutch, Jack Vartanian diamond earrings and nude Gucci crystal-encrusted sandals.

Evan Rachel Wood: The face of Gucci’s Guilty fragrance wore a Gucci one-of-a-kind black long-sleeved gown infused with some gothic flavour via the lace inserts at the bodice and sleeves. A hypnotic rouge lip, black embellished Gucci heels and a black Gucci satin box clutch rounded out her look.

Toni Garrn: The model looked very statuesque wearing a pale-blue Gucci Cruise 2015 long-sleeved gown with silver crystal-embellished tubular detailing around the neckline. Letting the gown do all the talking, her hair and makeup were kept simple, with Gucci jewels adding a touch of sparkle.

Kate Beckinsale In Alice + Olivia – ‘The Face Of An Angel’ TIFF World Premiere Party

Kate Beckinsale In Alice + Olivia - 'The Face Of An Angel' TIFF World Premiere Party

Kate Beckinsale continued her chic streak at the 2014 Toronto International Film Festival, attending the world premiere party for ‘The Face of an Angel’ hosted by Soho House Toronto in Canada on Saturday (September 6).

After her gorgeous turn at the film’s premiere earlier in the day, she took a red-hot turn in an on-trend Alice + Olivia ruby cropped top and front-slit pencil skirt.

Still wearing what looked to be her nude Brian Atwood sandals from her earlier outing, she kept the rest of the styling minimalistic, which actually heightened the impact and appeal of the look.

Her signature ponytail did make a comeback; we couldn’t expect it to stay gone for long.

The colour was so striking here, as is Kate’s radiantly adorable smile, but I’m still so taken by her premiere look.

Kate Beckinsale attended the premiere of the film ‘The Face of An Angel’ at the 2014 Toronto International Film Festival on September 6 in Toronto, Canada.

To hit the red carpet, the actress wore a nude Azzaro Couture jumpsuit from the designer’s Fall 2014 collection.

She paired the dramatic look with a delicate Lee Savage ‘Broken Space’ clutch and nude Brian Atwood peeptoe shoes.

It’s always nice when stars mix things up on the red carpet, and this jumpsuit is both sexy and chic. The criss-cross detailing on the bustline and the side sash add an extra level of drama, making this a real moment, even though it isn’t a dress.

Combed back curls with major volume, pink glossy lips, glowing pink cheeks and smudgy eyeliner offer soft sex appeal.

A black mani and pedi add just a bit of edge against the nude color.

Are you loving this head to toe look as much as I am?

Who Wore Julien Macdonald Better…Kate Beckinsale or Taylor Swift?

Who Wore Julien Macdonald Better Kate Beckinsale or Taylor Swift

For the 2011 Vanity Fair Oscar party, Kate Beckinsale wore a gorgeous Julien Macdonald black, long sleeve sequin embellished dress with a sheer back and sheer sleeves which glimmered from every angle.

Styled with a black clutch and a signature high ponytail, she was the picture of glamour and perfection.

Cut to 2014 and Taylor Swift wore the same dress to the same event taking it up a level with the ruby lips and ring, however, Kate wins for me, for allowing the gown to speak for itself.

Kate Beckinsale was at the opening night of ‘Macbeth’ in New York City, where she also attended the after party at the Park Avenue Armory on Thursday (June 5).

The actress was beautiful in a strapless, white lace-embossed dress from Monique Lhuillier’s Spring 2014 collection.

She kept the styling simple yet directional, with cage Casadei sandals, a Kotur box clutch and a selection of bracelets.

She also surprisingly skipped her favoured high ponytail, replacing it with softer, face-framing curls.
