Kat Dennings In David Meister – 2014 People’s Choice Awards

Kat Dennings In David Meister - 2014 People's Choice Awards

Kat Dennings arrived at the 40th annual People’s Choice Awards in rather dramatic fashion—as she should. After all, she’s co-hosting the show tonight (January 8), alongside Beth Behrs at Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in Los Angeles, California.

Before embarking on what surely will be a slew of costume changes, the ‘Two Broke Girls’ star kicked off the evening in a black David Meister strapless ball gown, moodily sprinkled with the stencil of large red roses.

In keeping with the romantic, theatrical theme of the dress, she wore a dark berry lip stain and styled her dark brunette locks into loose curls, which were topped with a glittering headband.

She skipped the necklace, yet showed off a pile of statement bracelets and a ring.

The one accessory for which she probably had not planned were the gauze bandages that decorated her right hand—she suffered a bit of an accident with a knife over the weekend—although she strategically kept that hand rather hidden in the folds of her skirt.

Kat Dennings In Naeem Khan – ‘Thor: The Dark World’ LA Premiere

Kat Dennings In Naeem Khan - Thor LA Premiere

Continuing her promo-tour duties, Kat Dennings stepped out for the Los Angeles premiere of ‘Thor: The Dark World’ yesterday evening.

The actress wore a crimson-coloured Naeem Khan cocktail-length dress from the designer’s 2014 collection, which featured all-over damask-like floral embroidering. And while her gold confetti ‘Flavia’ clutch by Edie Parker certainly added a second eye-catching element to the outfit, it mostly made me think that this look is more than just a little ready for the holiday party scene.

To tie the look together, she wore nude pumps and a matching lip shade of red.

Kat Dennings In Vintage Lanvin – ‘Thor: The Dark World’ World Premiere

Kat Dennings In Vintage Lanvin - 'Thor The Dark World' World Premiere

Kat Dennings joined Natalie Portman on the red carpet at the Odeon Leicester Square for the world premiere of ‘Thor: The Dark World’ in London yesterday evening.

The actress showcased her gorgeous figure wearing a vintage Lanvin strapless gown with a black velvet asymmetrically cut top half and an ivory satin underskirt.

My issue with this dress is that the top was heavier than the bottom half, so at times the ivory part looked a crumpled mess under the weight of the top half.

For me the gown was too complicated. Had it been just a black velvet gown, this would’ve worked so much better for her.

‘Iron Man 3′ Red Carpet Round Up

Iron Man 3 LA Premiere

It was a busy night on the red carpet at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood, California, where many young actresses took to the red carpet for the ‘Iron Man 3’ premiere.

Kat Dennings: The ‘Two Broke Girls’ actress opted for a form-fitting, very familiar Dolce & Gabbana floral-print and lace dress. That cerise lip and her gorgeous wavy locks sell this look to me.

Emily VanCamp: The ‘Revenge’ actress wore a Temperley London embellished ribbon dress from the Fall 2013 collection, which she styled with a blush-coloured Nancy Gonzalez clutch and Robert Clergerie ‘Querrye’ heels. A simple side-swept bun and gold hooped earrings completed her look.

Debby Ryan: The actress joined many stars who have fallen for Osman’s designs. The young actress donned a strapless dress with a leather bustier and floral embroidered skirt. The bustier gives the look a contemporary edge, with gold sandals complementing the skirt. Simple makeup and a high bun completed her look.

Kat Dennings In Vivienne Westwood – 2013 Grammy Awards

2013Grammys_KatDennings

Kat Dennings attended the 2013 Grammy Awards hosted at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California this evening.

For her presenter duties, the ‘2 Broke Girls’ starlet wore a strapless Vivienne Westwood cocktail dress that didn’t translate as richly as I would have liked.

It was a structured, architectural design, but like this funny girl, it didn’t take itself too seriously. After all, the blue and white print, glittery with sequins, was slightly reminiscent of tie-dye.

That pendant necklace didn’t really belong, though, nor did those chunky nude platform, peep-toe pumps.

Her dramatic oxblood lip and nails, not to mention her long dark locks, put this look on vampy territory.

Did this ensemble fall short for you?
