Juliette Lewis In Zac Posen – 2013 CFDA Fashion Awards

Juliette Lewis In Zac Posen - 2013 CFDA Fashion Awards

Juliette Lewis waltzed her way around the 2013 CFDA Fashion Awards on Monday night at the Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center in New York City.

The actress, who can sometimes bring her wild side to the red carpet, mellowed out a bit in this satiny melon-hued, Zac Posen dress that was simply made to be twirled. (She showed off its delightful spin factor several times.)

With the swingy skirt and off-the-shoulder neckline, there was a distinct vintage appeal that was elevated even more with a pair of oxblood, ankle-strap pumps.

Since she posed with her hands in the frock’s exaggerated pockets for most of the time, there was little cause for a clutch or wrist candy.

A pair of matching gemstone earrings and a loosely upswept, side-parted ‘do was all the styling she needed.

I think the fact that Juliette was having such a blast in this peachy look really made me like it more. Now, get this girl to a dance floor.

Juliette Lewis In Vionnet – 2013 Vanity Fair Party

Juliette Lewis In Vionnet - 2013 Vanity Fair PartyJuliette Lewis attended the 2013 Vanity Fair Oscars party, hosted by editor Graydon Carter, on Sunday night.

The actress entered Hollywood’s Sunset Tower in a cream-coloured halter gown by Vionnet.

There was a lot going on with this dress—from the draped wrap skirt that revealed black and neon yellow layers on the side to the nipped-in waist that was tied up with a bow. And who could miss the whimsical fringe of dandelion-like embellishment that floated all across the dress.

Adding to the quirk factor was Juliette’s crimson hair, which was coaxed back into a side ‘do. I’m now wondering if this hair colour is what is bothering me about this look.

One thing’s certain, the dress was a departure from the glitz and glam in many others seen at the after parties.

Do you like this look?

Juliette Lewis In Georges Hobeika Couture – 2011 Vanity Fair Oscar Party

Juliette Lewis joined the likes of Cameron Diaz and Zoe Saldana on the red carpet at the 2011 Vanity Fair Oscar Party in West Hollywood on Sunday night.

She looked gorgeous wearing a midnight blue Georges Hobeika Couture gown. I can’t find a single fault.

Her stunning simple couture gown had a jewel encrusted sash on the waist and a gathered detail on the bodice.

Georges Hobeika is known for his elaborate Couture designs, but this simple design is just as breath-taking and effective on the red carpet.

If you are as old as I am, Juliette Lewis will always be remembered as the girl who wore cornrows on the Oscar red carpet.

Who Wore Louis Vuitton Better? June Ambrose or Juliette Lewis

I want to start off by saying that this black strapless Louis Vuitton Fall 2008 dress with a tulle cape, looked much better on the runway, than when worn by stylist June Ambrose, and actress Juliette Lewis. But both ladies did their best to do it justice.

June wore the dress when she attended the 3rd Annual Black Girls Rock! Awards in New York back in November, with YSL Trib Two heels.

Juliette arrived at the British Comedy Awards 2008 last month in London, wearing the same dress with a red snake skin clutch, black heels, and a red and gold hair accessory.

The normally daring Juliette would have been able to rock the runway hat, but as she didn’t, so I will give this one to June.

2008 Whitney Museum of American Art Gala Red Carpet

Finally someone has worn this multicolour lightning bolt and cityscape print Versace Fall 2008 dress.

I really enjoyed the selection of these dresses that were presented by Donatella, and I am happy Becki Newton has worn this purple one.

She wore her unique tank strapped dress with Versace black heels.

Christina Ricci opted for a backless Gothic-style grey Atelier Versace Fall 2008 dress, which could not be more perfect for her.

I love the embroidery detail.

Actor Patrick Dempsey, who is the current face of Versace Fall 2008 menswear, posed with Donatella Versace, who as always looks a knock-out with her body to die for.

Of course her stunning lilac gown is totally unique and has not been seen on the runway.

Despite the simple and non-revealing (for her) nature of Mariah Carey’s dress, I feel very underwhelmed looking at her in it.

Emma Roberts looks very grown up in this black shimmering strapless mini Versace bustier dress, with Jimmy Choo heels.

Jane Krakowski dares to wear this Versace Fall 2008 dress that has also been worn by Donatella herself, but totally look amazing in it.

The actress wore her midnight blue wet-look dress, with gold Louboutin’s.

Juliette Lewis’ Versace Fall 2008 fuchsia heels are working better for me than the beige Versace dress.

The dress feels a little tame for the wild star.

For the first time ever I feel that a dress works better on the runway than on Helena Christensen. I really don’t think this Versace Fall 2008 asymmetric lace dress works on her.
