Julie Bowen In Monique Lhuillier - 'Planes Fire And Rescue' New York Screening

Julie Bowen attended the ‘Planes: Fire And Rescue’ screening held at the Elinor Bunin Munroe Film Center on Thursday (July 17) in New York City.

Opting for chic separates on this rare occasion, the actress wore a white sleeveless top paired with cobalt-blue Monique Lhuillier Resort 2013 trousers.

The biggest round of applause is paid to her Christian Louboutin ‘Air Chance’ tri-colour pumps, which couldn’t be more complementary to her look.

As I have an identical pair of trousers, this look has given me some styling inspiration; now all I have to do is buy those pumps.

Julie Bowen In Dsquared² - 'Planes Fire & Rescue' LA Premiere

Julie Bowen attended the premiere of Disney’s ‘Planes: Fire & Rescue’ held at the El Capitan Theatre on Tuesday (July 15) in Hollywood, California.

The actress wore an ivory sheath dress with a gathered shoulder detail from DSquared2′s ‘Ivory and Black’ collection.

Styled with Stuart Weitzman sandals and a white clutch with gold hardware, it’s a simple, classic summery look which you really can’t go wrong with.

Julie Bowen In SB47 - Jimmy Kimmel Live!

Julie Bowen made a guest appearance on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’ on Friday (April 25), where the ‘Modern Family’ actress had a blast chatting about her three sons and playing a fun game with Jimmy where they had to Tweet a bunch of random things during the episode.

Wearing one of my favourite looks from her yet, she looked lovely wearing an SB47 Fall 2014 floral dress in a beautifully feminine fit-and-flare design featuring sheer inserts in the skirt.

SB47 is supposed to be the new contemporary collection from Sachin + Babi, but I still see a lot of the brand’s delicate charm here.

Bionda Castana ‘Beatrix’ black suede and mesh pumps with a cute bow detail completed her look.

Julie Bowen In Marchesa - P2

Julie Bowen attends the LA Modernism Show & Sale opening night party to benefit P.S. ARTS at 3LABS on Friday (April 25) in Culver City, California.

The ‘Modern Family’ actress wore a Marchesa Spring 2013 gunmetal painted lace midriff cocktail dress with blue-graphite tulle asymmetrical drape overlay.

This romantic lace dress, which stands out for its exquisite detailing, was styled with Christian Louboutin peep-toes and a grey satin clutch.

'Modern Family' Sydney Photocall

Sarah Hyland was joined by her ‘Modern Family’ co-stars for the photocall held at The Sebel on Thursday (February 20) in Sydney, Australia, where the cast are filming their Australian vacation episode.

It appears that Sarah, who wore white, didn’t get the ‘wear all black’ memo.

Ariel Winter: The young starlet was looking very grown up in her Bec & Bridge one-sleeve frock with a side slit. I’m usually more impressed with her red carpet looks. Aside from the side slit, not a lot is going on here.

Sofia Vergara: Also going the LBD route, the actress wore a Herve Leger dress with scalloped edges. While this is a simple black dress I can get on board with, I can’t say the same for her shimmering accessories, which somewhat cheapen the look.

Julie Bowen: Rounding out a trio of black frocks, Julie’s not-so-little black dress featured a voluminous skirt which feels like its weighing down the dress. Once again, this is a no from me.

Each of these looks had potential and with the right accessories each would’ve been much improved.

Does anyone stand out for you here?

Julie Bowen In Carolina Herrera - 2014 SAG Awards

Julie Bowen mixed it up on the red carpet Saturday evening (January 18) in Los Angeles at the 2014 SAG Awards.

The ‘Modern Family’ actress, who isn’t known for being sartorially adventurous, made one of her boldest choices to date in a dress from Carolina Herrera Spring 2014 and dramatic drop earrings. She finished the look off with a Rauwolf clutch and Jerome C. Rousseau shoes.

The burnt orange, brown and white dress featured a color-blocked bodice and graphic skirt. Everything about the dress from the color combination to the graphic is unusual yet it somehow all works.

A Brigitte Bardot-inspired ponytail was another fashion-forward choice executed to perfection.

It’s exciting to see Julie having fun with fashion and even more exciting to see her pull it off.
