Julianne Moore In Chanel Couture – ‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2’ New York Premiere

Julianne Moore In Chanel - ‘The Hunger Games Mockingjay – Part 2’ New York Premiere

Julianne Moore attended ‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay- Part 2’ New York premiere on Wednesday (November 18) in New York City.

Serving up her own style of festive holiday cheer, I couldn’t be more charmed by this Chanel Fall 2015 Couture two piece decked out in rhinestones and emerald green sequins.

The red lip would’ve overcooked things, so Julianne opted for a neutral hue with a selection of subtle jewels and her go-to black sandals to completed the look.

It’s like I always say, green + red = red carpet perfection.

Julianne Moore In Alexander McQueen – ‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2’ London Premiere

Julianne Moore In Alexander McQueen - ‘The Hunger Games Mockingjay – Part 2’ London Premiere

Julianne Moore attended the UK debut of ‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2,’ held at Odeon Leicester Square on Thursday (November 5) in London, England.

Going from black in Berlin to white in London, the actress cut things short in an Alexander McQueen Spring 2016 tiered cocktail dress that maintained her recent ruffle theme.

Like or loathe the dress, given its Victorian-style high neckline and lightly tattered lacy effect, I do have two wishes.

First, her hair should have been pulled back into a sleek style. And, second, a winter-white sandal should have been worn, as those black shoes were a heavy finish to this relatively lacklustre showing.

Regardless, I think we all know that Julianne can do so much better for a big premiere such as this.

Julianne Moore In Jason Wu - 'The Hunger Games Mockingjay' Berlin Premiere

Julianne Moore attended the world premiere of ‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2’ at CineStar on Wednesday (November 4) in Berlin, Germany.

The pinnacle of elegance, she wore a Jason Wu Spring 2016 black gown with statement diamond swirl earrings, all of which set her flame-red hair alight.

The serious side of the dress was balanced by the more playful ruffled and fringed elements.

While I didn’t find the silhouette to be overwhelmingly flattering on the runway or on Julianne, as a result of those front ruffles, overall it was impactful by virtue of its monochromatic drama.

Julianne Moore In Valentino – ‘Freeheld’ LA Screening

Julianne Moore In Valentino - 'Freeheld' New York Screening

Julianne Moore attended the screening of ‘Freeheld’ at Castro Theater on Wednesday (October 7) in San Francisco, California.

The actress wore a girlish-cool number from Valentino’s Resort 2016 collection, which is a step outside her usual comfort zone.

I can’t say I’m a huge fan of the look, mostly because of the accessories, however, it’s refreshing to see a different side to her style.

As usual, the actress embodied understated elegance from top to bottom.

This majestic Saint Laurent velvet number, which was accented with a beautifully decorated bow, was effortlessly styled with a black box clutch.

Simple elegance at its best, or too sombre for your liking?
