Julianne Moore In Givenchy – LoveGold Cocktail Party

Julianne Moore In Givenchy - World Gold Council Cocktail Party

Julianne Moore attended the LoveGold party celebrating her 2013 Golden Globe nomination, held at The Selma House in West Hollywood, California yesterday evening.

The actress wore a Givenchy Spring 2013 turtleneck dress.

She elevated the interest of this simple sleeveless dress by adding gold vintage Van Cleef & Arpels trinkets, a black woven Bottega Veneta clutch and Givenchy leather sandals.

Had Julianne not opted for so many interesting accessories, I think I may have been bored.

Julianne Moore In Calvin Klein – 16th Annual ACE Awards

Julianne Moore was one of the presenters at the 16th Annual ACE Awards presented by the Accessories Council at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York City yesterday evening.

Known for her love of minimalism, the actress wore a Calvin Klein Spring 2013 dress.

Her putty off-the-shoulder dress with a black patent belt was styled with a chain-accented bag which matched her dress and black sandals.

Even as someone who is not a fan of Calvin Klein, I love everything about this look, especially the way Julianne accessorized and her decision to opt for minimal makeup.

Whether you like or loathe Julianne’s style you can never accuse her of being boring on the red carpet.

Maison Martin Margiela For H&M Party

H&M hosted a party in New York City to celebrate their Maison Martin Margiela collaboration on Tuesday evening.

Mena Suvari: Despite not being a fan of Mena’s trompe l’oeil bodysuit, she’s totally working this look, as per. She styled the look with a navy ‘Hitched Up’ skirt, tan wedges with a Perspex heel and a giant silver metallic candy wrapper clutch (a must-have from this collection). She was my favourite at this event.

Leigh Lezark: I’m not surprised that the DJ picked the most colourful and difficult-to-wear piece from the Maison Martin Margiela for H&M collection. She’s never one to fade into the background. The look includes a colourful printed-scarves top and skirt. She opted for the wedges in black.

Selma Blair: The actress wore the black version of the ‘Horizontally Worn’ dress with black wedges. I love how she styled the look with the china bumps and red lip colour, but I prefer the blue version of this dress which appears in the lookbook.

Julianne Moore: A simple black Maison Martin Margiela for H&M suit with peaked shoulders look super chic on Julianne.

Sarah Jessica Parker: The actress looked like an Olsen twin engulfed with so many layers and an oversized blazer.

Helena Christensen: The supermodel makes this £179.99 leather ‘Car Seat Cover’ dress look even more expensive. She styled her look with all black accessories.

The Maison Martin Margiela for H&M collection hits stores November 15. Click here to see the accessories.

Julianne Moore In Christian Dior Couture – 2012 Emmy Awards

It was impossible to miss Julianne Moore on the red carpet on Sunday evening at the 2012 Emmy Awards.

The stunning actress wore a Christian Dior Fall 2012 Couture look.

Her long-sleeved yellow Dior full silk skirt with a knitted cashmere top either wasn’t as sheer as the runway version or, unlike the model, she wore a bra with this gown.

The actress kept her look simple, wearing Fred Leighton jewels.

Loose red waves and a red lip complete the look.

Love it or hate it, I’m sure this will be the look everyone will be talking aobut tomorrow.

Julianne Moore In Alexander McQueen – ‘What Maisie Knew’ Toronto Film Festival Premiere

Julianne Moore was her usual sophisticated self at the premiere of ‘What Maisie Knew’ during the Toronto Film Festival last night.

The actress chose a tailored Alexander McQueen dress for the red carpet.

Julianne rarely puts a style step wrong – and here she’s stayed true to form.

The neckline is a little daring for a woman of her age, but it works. As does her natural hair and make-up.

Christian Louboutin ‘T-Spiga’ T-bar pumps, Eddie Borgo earrings and McQueen clutch are also welcome additions.

Julianne Moore In Jason Wu – 2012 Critics’ Choice Television Awards

Julianne Moore picked up Best Actress in a Movie for her role as Sarah Palin in ‘Game Change’ at the 2012 Critics’ Choice Television Awards, held in Beverly Hills on Monday night.

The actress opted for a simple silhouette wearing a Jason Wu black-and-white Resort 2013 dress.

Her halter dress was styled with nude Walter Steiger strappy sandals, when black would’ve been the more obvious choice, and Bulgari jewels.

Opting to sweep her glorious red hair over one shoulder, the actress completed her look with a pink lip colour.

Julianne Moore In Tom Ford – ‘Game Change’ Washington Premiere

Julianne Moore’s next stop in promoting her TV movie ‘Game Change’ was Washington, DC yesterday evening.

As you know, I love redheads wearing green, but the usually failsafe formula failed on this occasion.

Miserably.

I really dislike the velvet sleeves on her Tom Ford silk cowl-neck dress.

Once again, this could’ve been a great look had it just been stripped down and presented in a more basic manner.

Julianne’s accessories included a gold Judith Leiber clutch and gold sandals.

A towering bouffant and kohl-rimmed eyes completed her look.

Do you love or loathe this look?
