Planned Parenthood 100th Anniversary Gala

More stars joined Scarlett Johnansson at the Planned Parenthood 100th Anniversary Gala on Tuesday (May 2) in New York City.

America Ferrera: The actress was thinking pink in her custom Kate Spade New York blazer and black high-waisted trousers. The peek-a-boo bra added feminine allure to the tailored look, with a bespoke Edie Parker “PP 100” clutch honouring the occasion.

Halsey: Judging from the other looks at the event, Halsey went a bit too over-the-top with this sheer, embellished Jonathan Simkhai Pre-Fall 2017 gown. Its look-at-me quality wouldn’t have been out of place on the models at the Met Gala the night before.

Grace Gummer: All attention was on this Jacquemus Spring 2017 ruched blouse and its retro polka dots, as it was styled simply with menswear-inspired, cropped trousers and clear flats. Despite the intentionally long, puff sleeves, I do wish they had appeared better tailored.

Julianne Moore In Calvin Klein By Appointment – 2017 Met Gala

Julianne Moore went for a playful look at the 2017 Met Gala on Monday (May 1).

The actress wore a dreamy, feathery Calvin Klein by Appointment gown with dramatic ‘winged’, white peep-toe sandals.

Julianne is always one of my favorite at any big red carpet event, and tonight is no different. I love that her dress is short in a sea of long-hem drama, and those feathers? I mean, they bring a burst of energy to the carpet, and that is no small fete on a night as chock full of artistic expression as tonight.

The color story is also truly inspired, and while I’m not always on board with matching, those tear-drop earrings in the same red and yellow tones are the perfect final touch to this look.

Are you adoring Ms. Moore as much as I?

Julianne Moore In Chloé – Vogue & Chopard Opening of Ivan Shaw’s Glittering Prizes Photo Exhibition

Julianne Moore was in attendance at the Vogue & Chopard Opening of Ivan Shaw’s Glittering Prizes photo exhibition on Thursday (April 13) in New York City.

A strong vibe of gothic romance characterized this Chloe Pre-Fall 2017 frock, which was not without a sense of dark whimsy and intrigue in its spidery lace treatment.

While the dress maintained moody drama, the girly silhouette also lightened the look with a less serious sensibility.

Even so, her Chopard jewels really shone with her statement earrings a sophisticated way to finalize the ensemble.

Julianne Moore In Louis Vuitton – Whitney Biennial Event In NYC

Julianne Moore attended the Whitney Museum Biennial event in New York City on Wednesday (March 15).

While the Louis Vuitton Spring 2017 collection has not always been well-received off the runway, this simplified all-black look brought with it class and sophistication.

The gathered drape of the LBD imbued the design with a looseness of form that was gracefully unforced, with the patent tall boots adding a layer of style-forward edge and dimensionality.

With her flame locks gathered into a mod topknot, this was an all-around chic way to celebrate a contemporary art event.

Julianne Moore In Giambattista Valli Couture – L’Oreal Paris Dinner

Julianne Moore hosted a L’Oreal Paris dinner party during Paris Fashion Week on Sunday (March 5).

Like Nicole Kidman, Julianne also wore a Giambattista Valli Spring 2017 Couture floral gown.

While the gowns posses many similarities, you can’t deny that each look selected perfectly to suit the wearers colouring.

This green couldn’t have been a more tantalising combination for Julianne’s red hair, plus I love how the embellishments help enrich this look further.

If you asked me which look I preferred, I would struggle to single one out.

Julianne Moore In Alexander McQueen – L’Oreal Paris Women of Worth 2015 Celebration

Julianne Moore In Alexander McQueen - L'Oreal Paris Women of Worth 2015 Celebration

Julianne Moore attended the L’Oreal Paris Women of Worth 2015 Celebration on Tuesday (December 1) in New York City.

The actress wore an Alexander McQueen Spring 2016 LBD imbuing dark romantic sartorialism which the British brand does so well.

Oozing refinement with plenty of girlish charm, thanks to the light ruffles, I have to say I often glaze over Juilanne’s all black offerings, yet I found this look so captivating.
