Julianne Hough In Jenny Packham – The Weinstein Company’s 2013 Golden Globe Awards After Party

Julianne Hough In Jenny Packham - The Weinstein Company's 2013 Golden Globe Awards After Party

I wasn’t surprised to see Julianne Hough change out of her Monique Lhuillier gown into something more party-practical when she hit up the Fox Searchlight 2013 Golden Globe Awards Party, the Warner Bros. and InStyle Golden Globe Awards After Party, and The Weinstein Company’s 2013 Golden Globe Awards party on Sunday evening with boyfriend Ryan Seacrest.

Wearing her second Jenny Packham gown of the weekend, her petal-pink short-sleeve silk gown features satin panels and beaded shoulders, which gave the look an edge to work with her rockabilly hairstyle.

Smoky eyes provided the finishing touches.

Which was your favourite look from Julianne this weekend: her Art of Elysium Jenny Packham gown, the Golden Globes Monique Lhuiller gown or this Jenny Packham pink gown?

Julianne Hough In Monique Lhuillier – 2013 Golden Globe Awards

Julianne Hough In Monique Lhuillier - 2013 Golden Globe Awards

Julianne Hough was in full princess mode with an edge at the 2013 Golden Globe Awards held in Beverly Hills on Sunday night.

The actress wore a Monique Lhuillier Pre-Fall 2013 gown.

Her white tulle gown with gold sparkling embellishments featured a glittering illusion neckline and voluminous ruffled skirt.

With so much detail on the dress, I would have preferred the actress keep her hair and makeup simple, as to not overpower the look.

This rockabilly pompadour seems out of place with such a feminine dress.

Julianne explained to E! that she wanted to add a bit more edge via her Salvatore Ferragamo clutch and intricate earrings made out of an actual fossilized beetle.

Sometimes, less is more.

Julianne Hough In Jenny Packham – 2013 Art of Elysium ‘Heaven’ Gala

Julianne Hough in Jenny Packham - Art Of Elysium heaven gala

Braided updos were popular on the red carpet at the People’s Choice Awards, plus we’ve seen Jennifer Lawrence sporting this same hairstyle this weekend.

Julianne Hough kept that trend going at the 2013 Art of Elysium ‘Heaven’ Gala held at 2nd Street Tunnel in California last night.

The actress/dancer donned a multi-colour floral long-sleeve embellished gown designed by Jenny Packham.

Like many others at this event, Julianne didn’t add too many accessories to her look, just a belt and studded earrings leaving the dress to shine on its own.

Are you loving this braided updo trend, or does it not work here for Juilanne?

Julianne Hough In Tony Ward Couture – 2013 People’s Choice Awards

Julianne Hough In Tony Ward Couture - 2013 People’s Choice Awards

Julianne Hough ripped her sparkling red-carpet look for last night’s 2013 People’s Choice Awards straight from the runway, and it paid off.

This former ‘Dancing with the Stars’ pro turned big-screen star really turned heads in a starry Tony Ward Fall 2012 Couture navy blue frock. The full skirt featured a glittery constellation of sequins, and it just begged to be twirled in—perfect for this dancer.

Not much additional bling was needed to accent such a glittery moment, but Norman Silverman earrings and a Misaki ring delivered just the right delicate touch.

She paired the cocktail dress with Giuseppe Zanotti silver metallic pumps, which played off all that shine and provided a lighter finish than the slate gray platforms from the runway.

Julianne’s long flippy bob, styled in piece-y layers, was the final fresh and fun touch.

Julianne Hough In Kaufmanfranco – ‘The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2’ LA Premiere

While I’m not Julianne Hough’s biggest fan, she pleasantly surprised me on the red carpet for ‘The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2’ premiere, held at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in California on Monday evening.

I’m surprised because I don’t dislike her Kaufmanfranco look, which features a jewel-encrusted illusion top and a silk sculpted tulip skirt accented with a black leather sash.

She looks really cool, without a hint of try-hard, which I’m usually turned off by.

This look has an edge which she punctuates with a punky quiffed updo.

An onyx Edie Parker clutch and oversized cocktail ring accessorizes her look, with a nude lip colour providing the finishing touches.
