Julianne Hough In ASOS – The Hollywood Reporter’s Emmy Party

Julianne Hough In ASOS - The Hollywood Reporter’s Emmy Party

Julianne Hough was among the celebrity set who kicked off the Emmys weekend at The Hollywood Reporter’s Nominees Night party, hosted at SoHo House in Los Angeles, California yesterday evening.

The entertainer showed off her dancer’s legs in a pair of gold jacquard shorts from ASOS, one of the evening’s sponsors.

Dialing back the lookbook’s more dramatic, ornate styling, she dressed the shorts with a black halter top, barely-there sandals and a black clutch for an effortless-chic vibe.

Her shorter blonde locks were coaxed into a breezy updo, whilst a bronzed complexion and nude lip completed the picture.

Julianne Hough In Emilio Pucci – Estee Lauder ‘Modern Muse’ Fragrance Launch Party

Julianne Hough In Emilio Pucci - Estee Lauder ‘Modern Muse’ Fragrance Launch Party

Julianne Hough attended the Estee Lauder ‘Modern Muse’ Fragrance Launch Party held at the Guggenheim Museum in New York City yesterday evening, which was also attended by Michelle Dockery.

The dancer/actress wore an Emilio Pucci Fall 2013 white wool-and-Chantilly-lace long-sleeved dress featuring point d’esprit panels and a sweet bow accent, which appears to be appropriate for the event but doesn’t feel quite right for Julianne, who tends to work a less saccharine look on the red carpet usually.

Casadei gold leather sandals and Sorellina fine jewels accessorized her look, with a blown-out bob and kohl-rimmed eyes completing her look.

Is this look giving you a toothache, or did Julianne play it right for the occasion?

Julianne Hough In Bec & Bridge and Halston Heritage – InStyle Summer Soiree

Julianne Hough In Bec & Bridge and Halston Heritage - InStyle Summer Soiree

Julianne Hough attended the 12th Annual InStyle Summer Soiree held at the Mondrian Los Angeles in West Hollywood, California yesterday evening.

As you know, I have been crushing on Julianne’s style for a while now, and she’s wowed once again wearing a dramatic look consisting of a white Bec & Bridge top and a tulip orange Halston Heritage maxi skirt, which really stood out on this dove-grey red carpet.

Does the look feel a touch over-dramatic for a summer soiree?

Maybe, considering she was the only person who didn’t wear a knee-length look, but she looks so elegant and I love the effortless styling.

The half-up, half-down ‘do and neutral makeup take some of the formality out of the look, which would’ve looked just as good on the Emmys red carpet.

OTT or a perfect way to stand out?

Julianne Hough In Jenny Packham - 'The Mortal Instruments City of Bones' LA Premiere

Julianne Hough attended the premiere of ‘The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones’ held at ArcLight Cinemas Cinerama Dome in Hollywood, California alongside Lily Collins, Bella Thorne, Robert Sheehan, Ashley Greene, Kevin Zegers and Jamie Campbell Bower.

The dancer/actress continued to showcase her sartorial style wearing a Jenny Packham Fall 2013 ensemble, which featured a beautiful floral-beaded crop top and bright-red tapered trousers, which she teamed with Stuart Weitzman ivory ‘Nudist’ strappy sandals.

If you ever wondered what celebs carry in their clutches, Julianne’s clear crystal-accented Jenny Packham ‘Mystery Palace’ clutch reveals a Chanel compact, lipstick and her white iPhone.

Cheap-looking clutch aside, this is a great look. I love how she continues to mix things up on the red carpet. The red really pops against the black backdrop and carpet.

Julianne Hough In Camilla and Marc – Cosmopolitan’s Summer Bash

Julianne Hough In Camilla and Marc - Cosmopolitan’s Summer Bash

Julianne Hough attended Cosmopolitan’s Summer Bash at Palihouse in West Hollywood, California in honour of cover girl Nina Dobrev.

Nina’s BFF wore a Camilla and Marc Resort 2013 LBD with cut-out details and a jagged hemline which benefited from edgy styling from her B Brian Atwood ‘Marietta’ zip-front sandals, Pluma Italia cuff, Rafe clutch, and Sydney Evans jewels.

Flawless makeup and a simple centre-parted bun completed her look.

This is the second Camilla and Marc look we have seen take to the red carpet in a week, proving that the Australian brand continues to grow in favour with Hollywood starlets.

Julianne Hough In Moschino – DirecTV’s ‘Paradise’ Premiere

Julianne Hough In Moschino - DirecTV's 'Paradise' Premiere

Julianne Hough attended the premiere of DirecTV’s ‘Paradise’ held at Mann Chinese 6 in Los Angeles, California yesterday evening.

The actress/dancer wore a stylish Moschino Resort 2014 dress, which was a sexy twist on a classic tuxedo dress.

Her white double-breasted frock with a black collar and draped detail on the skirt is one of my favourite Julianne looks to date.

I much prefer her simple styling over that of the runway. Opting not to wear too many jewels was the smart choice.

She kept the styling simple and chic, adding a black Edie Parker clutch and black ankle-strap Stuart Weitzman ‘Privacy’ pumps.

With her choppy bob twisted and tousled, she completed her look with nude lips and kohl-rimmed eyes.
