‘Let’s Be Cops’ LA Premiere Red Carpet Roundup

'Let's Be Cops' LA Premiere Red Carpet Roundup

Here is a quick roundup of some more ladies who joined Nina Dobrev on the red carpet for the ‘Let’s Be Cops’ LA premiere held at the ArcLight Hollywood on Thursday (August 7) in Hollywood, California.

Hannah Simone: The young star opted for a navy and black fitted RVN look, making her exposed midriff the focal point. Simple styling, including her lust-worthy strappy Giuseppe Zanotti sandals and that glossy red lip, grabbed my attention first.

Julianne Hough: Opting to go short and sassy, the blonde actress/dancer wore an all-black look featuring tailored separates consisting of a racer-front top and shorts. I would’ve loved a pop of colour via the heels – yellow to make a huge statement – but Julianne opted to keep it tonal, selecting black strappy sandals.

Ahead of the official launch tomorrow, the White Street Restaurant in New York City on Tuesday evening (August 5) was the location for the party to celebrate the launch of the Roland Mouret for Banana Republic Collection.

Julianne Hough was on hand to join in the celebration. Wearing a dress from said collection rendered in subtle colour-blocked hues of black, navy, white and pink, the dress is undeniably Roland Mouret with its signature fitted silhouette.

Keeping up the chic showing, the actress styled her look with a black clutch and simple black pumps.

The rest of the collection, as you would expect, features many form-fitting, chic and timeless dresses which range in price from $49.50 to $165.00. In addition to this colour-blocked dress, you will also find cropped sweaters, slim-fit trousers and basic tops which are perfect for office wear.

Need an LBD for your next function? Well, this collection has five different versions, ranging from long-sleeved to an asymmetrical cut.

Check out the full Roland Mouret for Banana Republic collection, which will no doubt sell out quickly online and in select stores on August 7.

Who Wore Chanel Better…Julianne Hough or Juana Acosta?

Who Wore Chanel Better Julianne Hough or Juana Acosta

Julianne Hough attended Drew Barrymore’s launch of her new book, ‘Find It In Everything’ last month, which was hosted by Chanel.

The actress donned a black-and-white Chanel Fall 2013 mini dress, styling the look with a bright-yellow Chanel clutch and black pumps.

Juana Acosta wore the same dress to the Bvlgari private party, styling her look with the coveted plexiglass Chanel bag in the shape of the iconic Chanel No. 5 perfume bottle and black-and-white sandals.

I love Juana’s styling; even though the pop of colour was welcome with Julianne’s look, I love how understated Juana’s look is so she wins for me.

Julianne Hough attended the Kaleidoscope Ball held at the Beverly Hills Hotel on Thursday (April 10) in Beverly Hills, California.

Keeping it one-note, the actress wore a Philosophy Fall 2014 cut-out dress with a wrap skirt, ensuring her noteworthy satin sandals got equal billing.

A matching clutch with gold hardware and a few rings accessorized her look, but it’s the slick hair and makeup which perfected this look.

Drew Barrymore’s ‘Find It In Everything’ Book Launch Party

Drew Barrymore's 'Find It In Everything' Book Launch Party

Chanel hosted a party for Drew Barrymore to celebrate the launch of her new book, ‘Find It In Everything’, at the Chanel Beverly Hills boutique on Tuesday (January 14) in California.

Following the summery frocks and bursts of colour from the Tory Burch event, this event is in total contrast. Sombre doesn’t quite cover it.

Drew Barrymore: After her lovely floral gown worn to the Globes on Sunday, it was head-to-toe black Chanel for Drew on this occasion, with a few noteworthy Chanel accessories which are the only pieces that pique my interest.

Julianne Hough: The actress opted for something a bit more theatrical, with a combination of black Chanel Fall 2013 velvet accented with white-chiffon at the neckline, exaggerated cuffs, and hemline, which brings a light touch of delicacy to the look.

Reese Witherspoon: The actress rounds out a trio of snooze-worthy looks, styling a black-and-white Chanel Resort 2014 lace top with J Brand 850 Mid-Rise Clean Capri pants and a black blazer.
