“Eat Pray Love” Tokyo Premiere – Julia Roberts

Julia Roberts continues to shun black at the Tokyo Premiere her new movie “Eat Pray Love” today.

Many of you commented on the fit of her Dries Van Noten dress yesterday, but for this premiere she opted for a loose fitting kimono-style dress.

The gold striped dress was paired with Jimmy Choo ‘Clue’ leopard print heels, Van Cleef & Arpels bracelets and Jamie Wolf earrings.

Another refreshing look from Julia, but how do you feel about this look?

Loving the new direction or wishing she’s stick to safe black?

“Eat Pray Love” Japan Press Conference” – Julia Roberts In Dries Van Noten

It’s about time.

I pleased to present you with Julia Roberts wearing something other than black.

I’m also happy that someone other than Maggie Gyllenhaal has realised how amazing the Dries Van Noten Fall 2010 collection is.

Julia was in Tokyo last night for the “Eat Love Pray” photocall wearing a multi-coloured floral print silk long sleeved Dries Van Noten Fall 2010 dress with a matching belt.

What also surprised me about this look is that Julia’s wearing green Celine Pre-Fall 2010 ankle strap heels.

It would have been so easy for Julia to opt for black pumps with this look so I’m grateful she took a risk for this event.

This is a truly momentous week.

First Angelina two for two not black, now Julia is shunning black in favour of colour.

Don’t you just love her Jamie Wolf earrings?

“Eat Pray Love” New York Premiere – Julia Roberts In Stella McCartney

I would like to apologize in advance for the lack of enthusiasm for this post and no doubt future Julia Roberts posts during the “Eat Pray Love” promotional tour.

Unlike Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie who will throw us a bone at least once during a promotional tour. I’m not holding out the same hope from Julia.

It will be black black and black all the way and I couldn’t be more underwhelmed.

Last night at the New York “Eat Pray Love” Premiere Julia gave us…you guess it head-to-toe black starting from her Stella McCartney blazer, to her Diane von Furstenberg shorts, right down to her Roger Vivier sandals.

The only pop of colour comes from her collection of Coomi bangles and her stunning earrings.

I’ll happily admit she looks gorgeous, stunning in fact, but it feels like groundhog day.

“The Late Show with David Letterman” – Julia Roberts In Stella McCartney

Julia Roberts appeared on “The Late Show with David Letterman” on Wednesday night to promote her new drama, “Eat Pray Love.”

The Oscar winning actress said that she thinks she’s too old for romantic comedy movies.

As a 42-year-old married mother of five-year-old twins she said, “I think I’m too old for those silly situations of unrequited love! It becomes less plausible when you’re in the 40s to be walking down in the hallways because a boy walks by! I’ve read a couple lately that are more original and more mature, but they just didn’t seem to fit for me.”

The star ditched her usual head-to-toe black to wear a black and white Stella McCartney Resort 2011 ensemble on the show.

Her look included a white Stella McCartney blazer with black lapels which were paired with a black top, black Stella McCartney tapered pants and black sandals.

I was expecting her whole promotional tour to be all black, so to start off with a touch of white could be a sign of more colourful things to come but I very much doubt it.

Runway To “Valentine’s Day” LA Premiere – Julia Roberts In Christian Dior & Emma Roberts In Jenny Packham

This is such a so cute picture of Julia Roberts with her niece Emma Roberts who both attended the “Valentine’s Day” LA Premiere last night.

I love the confidence oozing from young Emma as she poses alongside her famous Auntie.

Julia opted for a black organza Christian Dior Resort 2010 dress with a fold detail on the waist.

It doesn’t show up on these pictures too well, but the dress is covered with embroidered details.

I would’ve fainted if Julia opted for the runway version.

Jimmy Choo “Nina” sandals complete the look.

Emma opted for a Jenny Packham Spring 2010 crystal encrusted mini halter dress which kind of has a ’60s vibe to it.

She paired her dress with Brian Atwood silver “Kendall” shoes.

I really like both these looks.
