Julia Roberts In Preen – Jimmy Kimmel Live

Julia Roberts In Preen - Jimmy Kimmel Live

Julia Roberts was spotted leaving a studio in Los Angeles, California on Monday (May 5) following her guest appearance on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’.

While promoting ‘August: Osage County’ last year, we noticed a style shift – for the better – and it looks like that continues to be the case.

She looked very stylish wearing a micro-mini skirt with her Preen Fall 2014 blouse.

This cotton poplin Preen shirt featuring a tonal eyelet trim along the collar and cuffs, plus a lattice trim at the shoulders and arms, is emboldened with a Darth Vader graphic at the front.

Punched up with a pair of pink heels, sans her ‘Hello My Name is Julia’ badge, this is another great look from the gorgeous actress.

Some may consider this too youthful (length-wise) and more of an Emma Roberts look; however, I think she is rocking the hell out of this look. I mean, look at those legs.

Julia Roberts In Givenchy Couture – Oscars 2014

JuliaRobertsInGivenchyOscars2014

Julia Roberts looked radiant during her red carpet walk on Sunday (March 2) at the 2014 Oscars, hosted at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.

Nominated for her work in ‘August: Osage County’, Julia chose a custom Givenchy couture gown for the big occasion.

As Hollywood royalty she always looks beautiful and classic, and this black lace column gown is one of her best sartorial choices to date. The deep neckline with peekaboo lace paneling and peplum detail made the gown sophisticated, sexy, and romantic all at once.

The actress often lets her gown speak for itself, as she did on the red carpet here, punctuating the intricate lace design with only a few sparkly jewels from Bulgari.

Julia, you hit the red carpet jackpot once again.

Julia Roberts In Elie Saab – 2014 Grammy Awards

Julia Roberts In Elie Saab - 2014 Grammy Awards

Julia Roberts was one of the guest presenters during the 2014 Grammy Awards held at the Staples Center on Sunday (January 26) in Los Angeles, California.

The actress wore an Elie Saab Spring 2014 sheer black fully-beaded deep-V-neck mini dress styled with black patent-leather Gucci pumps.

As much embellishment as there is featured on this dress, the look fails to sparkle for me, as Julia’s hair, makeup and overall styling are too uninspiring for this look plus I am not a fan of the nude lining added to to this frock.

Julia Roberts In Valentino – 2014 SAG Awards

Julia Roberts In Valentino - 2014 SAG Awards

Julia Roberts looked vibrant on the red carpet at the 2014 SAG Awards held at the Shrine Auditorium on Saturday (January 18) in Los Angeles.

The ‘August: Osage County’ actress made an unexpected choice, opting for a hot pink, wide-leg Valentino jumpsuit with silver earrings and silver, a Roger Vivier ‘Secret Garden Maxi Boite de Nuit’ clutch, platform sandals. Maybe she was taking her inspiration from ‘American Hustle’.

Julia heavily favors black and white on the red carpet so I was thrilled to see her in this vibrant pink and she looked thrilled to be wearing it. It kills me that she’s a little saggy on top which, in turn, makes her look a little pouchy in the middle. With a little body tape it would have been flawless.

From the neck up Julia looks as gorgeous as always with tousled waves, a pink lip and her famous smile.

Although it wasn’t quite perfect, I think this will be a fan favorite. What did you think?

Julia Roberts In Juan Carlos Obando – 2014 Critics’ Choice Movie Awards

Julia Roberts In Juan Carlos Obando - 2014 Critics' Choice Movie Awards

Julia Roberts attended the 19th Annual Critics’ Choice Movie Awards held at Barker Hangar on Thursday (January 16) in Santa Monica.

I’ve never been a fan of sunglasses on the red carpet, but on this occasion, my biggest objection is her Juan Carlos Obando gown.

Julia had been on such a great roll lately, finally regaining her red carpet mojo, so this is disappointing.

Even though most of you disliked her Dolce & Gabbana Golden Globes gown, I kind of liked it; this, I don’t like.

All in all, it’s too frumpy, not flattering, and way too long.

A black Barbara Bui python baguette clutch from the Spring 2014 rounded out this disastrous look.
