Julia Louis-Dreyfus In Narciso Rodriguez- 2014 Golden Globe Awards

Julia Louis-Dreyfus proved that some things only get better with age on the 2014 Golden Globe Awards red carpet in Beverley Hills Sunday night (January 12).

The double nominee, for ‘Veep’ and ‘Enough Said’, wore an orange dress by Narciso Rodriguez and gold jewelry by Fred Leighton.

Julia somehow manages to look better with every passing year. The warm color of this dress suits her perfectly, her body looks killer and the halter neckline is doing fabulous things for her shoulders and bust line.

The pulled back hair is sleek without being severe and her make-up is simple but pretty.

This is a perfect example of when less is more. If only we could all look so good at 52-years-old.

AFI Awards 2014 Red Carpet Roundup

Plenty more stars joined Amy Adams, Kate Mara, and Lupita Nyong’o at the 14th annual AFI Awards Luncheon at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills this afternoon (January 10).

Julianna Margulies: The ‘The Good Wife’ star looked chic in black and white donning an Oscar de la Renta blouse and L’Wren Scott pencil skirt with copper Christian Louboutin ointy-toed heels and coordinating clutch and a simple chignon.

Melonie Diaz: The ‘Fruitville Station’ star wore a Honor Spring 2014 dress and worked two spring trends in one–lace and monochromatic white. She paired the dress with a Jimmy Choo ‘Cameo’ clutch and Jimmy Choo ‘Anouk’ suede pumps. A deep side part in her hair and sweet pink lips completed the look.

Christina Hendricks: The ‘Mad Men’ star went for subtle color-blocking in a soft blue Boden sweater over a seafoam Dolce & Gabbana skirt. Classic nude Jimmy Choo pumps and a metallic clutch completed the look.

Julia Louis-Dreyfus

Julia Louis-Dreyfus made a shimmering turn on the red carpet of the 2013 Emmy Awards.

The ‘Veep’ star kept things simple but elegant in a Monique Lhuillier Resort 2014 gown.

She complimented the look with a Edie Parker ‘Jean’ clutch and simple Martin Katz jewels.

Subtle makeup and long, loose waves are perfectly Julia, and keep with the understated glam of the gown.

Julia Louis-Dreyfus In Emilio Pucci - ‘Enough Said’ New York Premiere

Julia Louis-Dreyfus joined Toni Collette and Eve Hewson on the red carpet at the Paris Theater on Monday evening for the ‘Enough Said’ New York screening.

I’m not really a fan of Julia’s style as on occasion I think she dresses too matronly; however, she took things up several notches with this Emilio Pucci Fall 2013 black long-sleeved frock with a slashed neckline, sheer panel at the hip and side slit.

This is how to do sexy without being too revealing. I would love to see her mix things up like this on occasion from now on.

The simple styling was perfect for this look, with python Christian Louboutin ‘So Kate’ pumps and Lorraine Schwartz 18k yellow-gold large rose-cut oval diamond earrings, with light makeup and a centre-parted updo completing her look.

Julia Louis-Dreyfus In Andrew Gn - 'Planes' LA Premiere

Julia Louis-Dreyfus was also at the ‘Planes’ premiere on Monday, hosted at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood, California, where she walked the red carpet with the likes of Teri Hatcher, Hilary Duff and Bella Thorne.

The actress took a simple approach, donning a black Andrew Gn dress that was decorated with black-and-white embellishment at the neckline and sleeves.

She accessorized with black Edie Parker clutch, Irene Neuwirth earrings and heavy black platform pumps, which furthered the fall flavour.

A half-up, half-down ‘do and minimal makeup finished her straightforward ensemble.

Given some of the premiere’s more colourful and summery sartorial statements, Julia could have easily had a bit more fun with her look and fit right in.

Here is a roundup of the rest of the attendees at the 2013 Critics’ Choice Television Awards, held at The Beverly Hilton Hotel in California on Monday.

Miranda Cosgrove: Embracing the summer season, the actress opted for a girlie Lela Rose lilac frock with perforations and a pleated skirt, which she styled with Jimmy Choo ‘Tali’ heels and a light-pink lip colour.

Sarah Paulson: The actress, who took home the Best Supporting Actress in a Movie or Mini-Series for ‘American Horror Story: Asylum’, wore a pretty Carolina Herrera nude lace-accented dress with a delightful pop of colour via her fuchsia-pink Casadei pumps.

Maria Menounos: The TV presenter always dresses like an A-list actress and this stunning teal Notte by Marchesa gown is no exception. A half-up, half-down bouffant and Dana Rebecca Designs jewels completed her gorgeous look.
