Juana Acosta In Oscar de la Renta – Gala Dinner for The Colombian President

Juana Acosta In Oscar de la Renta - Gala Dinner for The Colombian President

Juana Acosta attended a gala dinner held at the Royal Palace on March 2, 2015, in Madrid, Spain, for the Colombian president, Juan Manuel Santos, which would have been a huge honour for the Colombian actress.

She was certainly dressed for the occasion, wearing an Oscar de la Renta black Resort 2015 gown designed be worn to a gala.

Breathtaking beauty in its own right, the silver embroidery only serves to augment the already grandiose design, which needed little else, yet she styled the look with glossy waves and a glitter clutch.

A definite contender for BDOTW, wouldn’t you agree?

Juana Acosta In Carolina Herrera – 2015 Goya Awards

Juana Acosta In Carolina Herrera - 2015 Goya Awards

Juana Acosta attended the 2015 Goya Awards held at Centro de Congresos Principe Felipe on Saturday (February 7) in Madrid, Spain.

Oozing with plenty of feminine charm, the Columbian actress wore a Carolina Herrera Pre-Fall 2014 ball gown combining a striking jacquard floral print with a dramatic bustier-style fit and flare design which no doubt garnered plenty of attention.

Styled with a Swarovski clutch and Barcena jewels she opted for loose waves and flawless makeup.

This was also in my top 5 of the night.

You may remember that Emmy Rossum wore this same gown back in March.

InStyle España Magazine 10th Anniversary Party

InStyle España Magazine 10th Anniversary Party

InStyle Magazine celebrated its 10th anniversary party at Gran Melia Fenix Hotel on Tuesday (October 21) in Madrid, Spain.

Juana Acosta: The actress wore a Herve Leger bold red gown featuring lattice detailing on the bodice and hemline. Perhaps this dress was a size too big, as it doesn’t appear to sit right on the bodice. Nonetheless she looked stunning styling her look with gold accessories, a matching red pout and glossy waves.

Celia Freijeiro: I was very much blown away by Celia’s Andrew Gn Pre-Fall 2014 look. Not only by the rich green hue and the enriching black embellishments, but also by her effortless styling which included a Dolce & Gabbana clutch and Piaget jewels. On the downside, the gown is perhaps too long for her, but everything else is pitch perfect.

Dafne Fernandez: My favourite Spanish actress looked ever so divine, as per, sweeping the red carpet wearing a Carolina Herrera Fall 2014 orange-hued cold-shoulder gown with enriching embroidered detailing. Wearing her hair up would’ve perfected this look, but as always she’s pretty damn perfect in my eyes.

Juana Acosta In Andrew Gn & Stéphane Rolland – San Sebastian International Film Festival

Juana Acosta In Andrew Gn & Stéphane Rolland - San Sebastian International Film Festival

Juana Acosta continued her jury duty while attending a premiere during the San Sebastian International Film Festival this weekend.

‘Murieron Por Encima De Sus Posibilidades’ premiere: The actress wore an Andrew Gn Fall 2014 look. I love the lightweight feel of the look, plus the texture given to it via the feathers; however, it would’ve been interesting to see this look styled with accessories other than black.

62nd San Sebastian International Film Festival closing ceremony: On Sunday (September 27) the actress stunned again, this time wearing a Stéphane Rolland Couture white knit cape gown with appliqués in blue, silver and black at the hem of her skirt which, along with the cape, really bring this look alive. I didn’t ever think I would be so enamoured with a knit dress on the red carpet, but I’m floored. She perfected the the look with Baccara jewels, swept back hair and a dark-berry lip. Do you agree, or can you never get behind a knit dress on the red carpet?

Juana Acosta In Chanel, Elie Saab & Isabel Basaldúa – 2014 San Sebastian Film Festival

Juana Acosta In Chanel, Elie Saab & Isabel Basaldúa - 2014 San Sebastian Film Festival

Juana Acosta serves on the jury for the 62nd San Sebastian Film Festival which kick-started on Friday (September 19) in San Sebastian, Spain.

This is great news for us, as we get to see more of the Colombian beauty’s style.

Aladina Foundation Press Conference: First up was a chic Chanel Spring 2014 dress with frayed edges outlining the look. This look was made more adorable and ladylike with the pops of pink via her Elie Saab shoes and clutch, plus her white-framed Bimba & Lola sunglasses.

‘Time To Smile’ charity campaign: By nightfall Juana had changed into an Elie Saab Spring 2014 raspberry gown with a sultry lace bodice. The colour couldn’t have been more perfect for her, enhanced with a matching lip. Opting for yet another Elie Saab clutch, this time gold with silver detailing, the look was complete with stunning Carolina Herrera jewels and wavy tresses à la Veronica Lake. This look has BDOTW contention written all over it. She brings so much glamour to this event.

‘La Isla Minima’ premiere: On Saturday (September 20) the juror returned to the red carpet, ensuring all eyes were on her wearing a bright yellow Isabel Basaldúa strapless fitted dress. My admiration doesn’t just fall on the dress; the accessories make this look. Yellow and navy has always been my favourite colour combo; however, her styling of green satin Aquazzura sandals and beaded clutch is perfection personified.

I’m stuck between looks 2 and 3 for my favourite. Are you also on the fence or do you have a clear winner?
