Excuse me whilst I pick my chin off the floor.

I’ve waited my whole lifetime for Jennifer Aniston to wow me, and she does wearing this Prada Spring 2009 silver metallic crushed dress.

What I love about this look the most is the confidence she exudes. It’s oozing from every pore and for me that’s more captivating than the colour and the cut.

Jen could have gone for the safer runway dress as it’s in her favourite colour - Black, but she not only opted for the silver dress, but a shorten silver dress plus she didn’t press it like Nicole Kidman did.

This may not sit well with Jennifer Aniston’s loyal fans as this is such a huge departure from her usual style, but I love it.

Oh and I hate to be crude, but where did those twins sprout from?

This is the first time in a long time that Amber Valletta has proved her supermodel status.

She hasn’t impressed me much on her last few outings, but she works it out in this maroon sequined Proenza Schouler 2009 Pre-Fall dress.

I love the colour the cut-outs in the shoulders, and the contrast exposed zipper at the back.

She completed her look with her hair tied back with sweeping bangs, whilst wearing black patent Brian Atwood “Maniac” pumps and carrying a feathered Raven Kauffman Couture clutch.

Like Jennifer Aniston, I would have bet on Jodie Foster picking the black runway version of this Giorgio Armani Fall 2009 dress. But instead she wore a grey satin, shadow-print version with complementary strappy sandals and clutch.

Her dress is exquisite with the origami folds on the bodice, and the daring low cut.

I love that these women are stepping out of their comfort-zones at this event.

Chelsea Handler wore a two-tone Lanvin Spring 2009 dress, with satin champagne strappy heels.

We’re not used to seeing Chelsea this polished and speculator, but she pulls this look off with great aplomb.

I hope she keeps up this sophisticated style of dressing, as I could really warm to her.

Mary McCormack tried to bring this grey strapless Yves Saint Laurent Spring 2008 dress up-to-date with a cage belt and YSL Trib Two’s.

It’s a nice look, but we’ve seen this dress so many, many, many times before.

Michelle Trachtenberg wore a Reem Acra knee-length dress covered in gold sequined leaf details and a contrasting waist band.

Her dress which she wears with black open-toes heels is nice enough, but it feels a bit too old for her.

Jenny McCartney looked out-friggin-standing wearing this crisp white pant suit.

Even though she has been dressing so sophisticatedly for a while now, I’m still always surprised at her fabulous looks.

Hair, make-up earrings, clutch, everything is perfect. My only bug-bear are her extremely long pants. I hate the thought of them picking up dirty as they drag on the floor.

Of all these looks Dania Ramirez’ is the one I would definitely purchase to go shopping at the mall on a sunny day. I love this summery look with the white tube top, floral tulip skirt and purple accessories, but it’s feels too casual for the red carpet.

Terri Seymour showed off that enivalbe figure wearing a coral RM by Roland Mouret Fluro dress with pleated neckline knee-length dress, paired with black patent pumps.

Selena Gomez wore a simple black H&M tank dress, with equally simple black pumps.

Elizabeth Banks set the bar really high for her red carpet looks during Cannes Film Festival, but I’m not really enjoying this look on her at all.

Her sparkling MaxMara dress is nice enough, but I have never been a fan of a sheer yoke. Reminds me too much of ice-skaters.

The actress completed her look with satin black pumps and a matching clutch.

Keke Palmer wore a printed maxi dress, which she accessorized with peacock earrings.

I really don’t like this dress as too much going on with the clashing prints plus those earrings are just hideous and so unnecessary.

Lynn Collins’ invite must have said fancy dress.

Christina Hendricks has such a stunning figure, and she embraces colour in many of her looks.

With that said I can’t help but be really disappointed with her all black, all boring look at this event, when so many women really step it up a notch.

Sherlock Holmes Pre-Production Press Conference, London

Rachel McAdams poses with her co-star Robert Downey Jr looking heavenly.

The actress wore a stunning strapless white knee-length dress, which had a ivory lace detail on the front, which she wore with tan suede pumps.

Her hair was tied back to show-off the sweet-heart neckline detail.

“Late Show with David Letterman”, New York

Wowaz..Kate Walsh show us that those pilates classes have clearly been working.

The actress glows in the midnight blue Herve Leroux keyhole bandage dress.

TARGET Presents AFI Night at the Movies

Cameron Diaz is always more comfortable in more casual looks.

She wore Seven jeans and a Thom Browne shirt, with bright fuchsia lips and shoes to match. She looks gorgeous, despite her untamed hair, which we have grown to love.

Comedic couple Jim Carrey and actress Jenny McCarthy arrived hand in hand. She looked stunning wearing a black and grey Bottega Veneta wool printed pencil dress, with a draped neck, which is a very elegant look for the mother of one, although I would have preferred this look without the booties.

Jodie Foster never over does things. She always keeps her look simple, comfortable and on the darker side of the colour palette.

Breast Cancer Care 2008 Fashion Show, London

Radio presenter Lisa Snowdon wowed the crowd arriving at this event on a miserably cold London night wearing an amazing strapless lilac gown.

Oscar-winning actress Jodie Foster, attended her Nim’s Island premiere in Japan last night.

In the film Jodie plays an adventure writer who is a big-city recluse, until she comes into contact with a little girl called Nim (Abigail Breslin) on an island with a vivid imagination.

Jodie wowed the crowds wearing a gorgeous halter-neck sapphire blue Jay Godfrey tiered dress.

The halter dress has black beaded straps, which crisscross on the back.

The actress wore her dress with matching shoes and an eggplant clutch.

We are so used to seeing Jodie in black, so it is a nice welcome change to see her wearing such a vibrant colour.

You can buy this dress from Neiman Marcus for $415.

Katie Holmes and her new haircut flew from New York to a LA to attend this premiere with her husband.

Looking toned and gorgeous, the Broadway star walked the red carpet with husband Tom Cruise wearing a navy blue halter dress with a leather tiered haltered bustier.

I must say I love this look. It is not too sickly sweet as you may expect from Katie. It’s sexy, edgy, and proves just how confident she is as a woman and a star.

She completed her look with a pair of navy blue strappy heels, and a gold trimmed blue box clutch.

Update: What is very surprising, is that this stunning dress is from Katie’s own Holmes Yang label. Where does she find the time?

Hopefully we will get to see more of it soon.

Amy Adams looks delightful, as always, wearing a cream strapless Christian Dior Spring 2008 brocade dress with a flower detail on one side. Thankfully this flower detail does not over power her, nor the dress.

She wore her dress with matching peep-toe heels and clutch, completing her look by styling her gorgeous red hair in a stunning updo.

Actress Christine Taylor, wife of Ben Stiller, was quite the arm candy in her stunning asymmetric tiered strapless black cocktail Prada dress.

I particularly love the jewel detail on the bust, and the stunning blue drop earrings.

With minimal make-up and a simple LBD by Farah Angsana, Alicia Silverstone still manages to look like a bad ass rock n’ roll chick.

She completes her look with black pointy pumps, and a black crystal Daniel Swarovksi vintage clutch.

Jodie Foster also opted for a LBD. Hers was a keyhole haltered dress, with embellishments on the empire line.

Her simple look was complete with wedged sandals and a black clutch.

Maria Menounos did not want to fade to black, so she stood out wearing her red satin Dolce & Gabbana cocktail dress, which wore with a cream waist-belt to give her a sexy silhouette.

Not so sure about the helmet hair though.

Worst Dressed/Worst Hair Award
So much is wrong here, it’s hard to decide where to start.

Jennifer Love Hewitt should have decided on either a jean look or the dress, because together they just do not work.

This Marc by Marc Jacobs dress itself is hideous. The bow and the embroidered skirt are too cutesy for a woman her age.

The hair is just blah and her eye make-up is too heavy for a dress this colour.

Tried Too Hard To Be Edgy Award
What a screaming hot mess.

At last years Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards Rihanna was so beautiful in her Gucci dress and freshly cropped hair. This year she opted for a pink and black polka-dot bustier from H&M and Stella McCartney jeans, studded cuffs, mint nails and hot pink lipstick.

I am not exaggerating when I say that I hate this look. There is not one redeeming quality about this look to me, and I love Rihanna, so this hurts.

Worst Re-Run/Worst Pose Award
Ashlee Simpson wore this BCBG Max Azria’s Spring 2008 dress to the MTV Music Awards last year. I was not crazy about it then, and I am not so crazy to see it on A.J. Michalka again now.

Worst Back/De Ja Vu Award
For some reason I feel like I have seen this all before on Hayden Panettiere.

The strap across her back cheapens the Leila Azhar dress, as it looks like a bra strap.

Her shoes are black sequined Christian Louboutin Very Prive pumps.

Best Dressed For The Mall Award
Tracey Edmonds really did not make an effort.

Worst Over 30 Award
Jodie Foster tried too hard to be down with the kids.

Played It Too Safe Award
Miranda Cosgrove could have pushed the envelope a little. Too safe = too boring, which is surprising considering she is wearing 3.1 Philip Lim Resort 2008. Her shoes are Marc Jacobs.
