Joanne Froggatt In Herve Leger & John Rocha - 2013 BFI London Film Festival Awards

Joanne Froggatt attended the 2013 BFI London Film Festival Awards held at Banqueting House in London on Saturday evening.

The ‘Downton Abbey’ star has always been a favourite of mine, and I have full admiration for this look considering the journey it made from the runway to the red carpet.

Her look consists of a Hervé Léger black top and a John Rocha Fall 2013 leaf appliqué skirt which started out its life on the runway as a strapless dress.

Some runway looks are often presented as seen on the runway, so for her stylists to see past the original look to create what we see on Joanne takes great foresight and imagination worthy of praise.

A green cummerbund, David Webb jewels, a simple black clutch, and embellished Christian Louboutin ‘Artifice’ pumps completed her look.

If I dare nitpick, I would’ve love her hair pulled back or up with this look. Otherwise, I’m in total lust.

Joanne Froggatt In Hervé Léger for Max Azria - ‘Filth’ London Premiere

Joanne Froggatt attended the London premiere of her latest movie ‘Filth’ held at the Odeon West End yesterday evening.

Swapping her maid’s uniform for something sexier, the ‘Downton Abbey’ star looked gorgeous in a colour-blocked Hervé Léger dress with a purple off-the-shoulder bodice, pale-blue triangular waist panel and navy-hued skirt.

The likes of Kim Kardashian and Heidi Spencer ruined Hervé Léger for most of us, but it’s moments like this I can appreciate just how amazing the iconic dress can look.

Gold caged Walter Steiger heels, a metallic-gold Jimmy Choo ‘Carmen’ clutch, smoky eyes and tumbling waves completed her red carpet look.

Joanne Froggatt In Topshop & Camilla and Marc - Venice Film Festival

Joanne Froggatt has been promoting her new movie, ‘Still Life’, during the 2013 Venice Film Festival this week.

Photocall: She kick-started yesterday morning wearing a bright-red Topshop mini dress with a fit-and-flare silhouette, which she accented with a black waistband and Christian Louboutin pumps. I love the fact that a high-street brand has graced the red carpet at such a prestigious occasion. The vivid dress is as brilliant as her smile.

Premiere: For the premiere she kept things low-key, yet event appropriate for a daytime premiere, wearing a Camilla and Marc Resort 2014 light-pink frock with an asymmetrical skirt styled with a patent-leather nude Christian Louboutin clutch and matching pumps. Is this look too blush for you? I would only ditch the clutch here.

Portrait session: My favourite look of the trio was the Topshop look she wore today to the portrait session. Her uber-girlie high-street look featuring a sleeveless blouse and floral-embroidered skater skirt (which we’ve seen in yellow on Katherine Jenkins) may be too sugary for some, but I love everything about it right down to her nude Louboutins.

PBS History's 'Downton Abbey' Season 4 Photocall

The cast of ‘Downton Abbey’ attended a photocall hosted by PBS History for Season 4 held at The Beverly Hilton Hotel in California yesterday afternoon.

Michelle Dockery: Opting for chic separates, Michelle wore a black-and-beige Elie Saab Resort 2013 short set with a black Ann Taylor top. She styled her look with Jean-Michel Cazabat ‘Ella’ black pumps, adding a pop of colour via her red lips.

Laura Carmichael: Admittedly, Laura rarely catches my eye; however, I was charmed by her whimsical Moschino Cheap and Chic black mini dress trimmed with an ivory satin box-pleat ‘piano keys’ accented hemline.

Joanne Froggatt: Sporting blonde, beachy, wavy tresses, the British actress, who has always been a fan of prints and colour, wore a Camilla & Marc Fall 2013 look. Her black top with a cobalt-blue trim was tucked into a dual-print blue-and-berry flounced skirt, to which she opted not to add the belt it was presented with. Her simple styling included silver bracelets and black pumps. Should she have kept the belt?

Sophie McShera: Looking delighted to be out of her 1920s maid outfit, the young actress wore a pretty floral Zara frock with an ultimate ladylike fit. This elegant dress is right on trend, with nude pumps and a orange-red lip colour completing the effortless styling.

The Serpentine Gallery Summer Party

Aside from Naomi Campbell and Sarah Jessica Parker, a host of stars did wear L’Wren Scott frocks to the Serpentine Gallery Summer Party, which the designer hosted in Hyde Park, London yesterday evening.

Princess Beatrice: The princess looked chic wearing a L’Wren Scott blue lace dress with a scoop neckline, scalloped hem and interesting pleats at the cuffs. Her dazzling accessories included a blue embellished clutch and crystallized pumps.

Joanne Froggatt: The ‘Downton Abbey’ star is known for her love of colour, but on this rare occasion she selected a black L’Wren Scott frock. The embroidered mini was styled with Christian Louboutin ‘Lagoula’ sandals and a studded Christian Louboutin ‘Paris’ bag to prevent this look from being too forgettable.

Alice Eve: Now this is more like it. Alice clearly read her invite for this summer party. The actress wore a L’Wren Scott Spring 2013 white-and-gold sequin frock, styled with gold pumps and a cream oversized clutch with a gold bow accent.
