Models @ The 2014 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show After-Party

Aside from Taylor Swift’s after-party look, there wasn’t much to shout about on the red carpet at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show held at London’s Earls Court on Tuesday (December 2) which had a distinct black or white theme.

Karlie Kloss: Standing out for its non-revealing nature was Karlie Kloss’s look. The figure-hugging silhouette and sexy slit worked in an artful juxtaposition with the demure high neck and almost Victorian bow to the neckline of the Alexander McQueen dress, which was styled with a skull-clasp clutch.

Alessandra Ambrosio: Too tight and so tacky. That pretty much sums up my feelings about this ridiculous yet expected Balmain Spring 2015 look. A sure contender for WDOTY.

Candice Swanepoel: Also taking the revealing route was Candice, whose Zuhair Murad white floral embroidered sheer long-sleeve Spring 2015 gown left precious little to the imagination.

Models @ The 2014 British Fashion Awards

Models @ The 2014 2014 British Fashion Awards

A host of models held court at the 2014 British Fashion Awards, where the runway stunners took to the red carpet at the London Coliseum in London, England on Monday (December 1).

Daisy Lowe: She may have been dressed in shades of blush-pink, but there was a sexy side to all that sweetness with her Antonio Berardi asymmetrical, figure-hugging gown that was slit to her hip. A heart-embellished clutch by Charlotte Olympia finished the look on a lighthearted note.

Suki Waterhouse: From shades of pink to shades of blue, the model subscribed to the sheer trend in a Burberry Prorsum Spring 2015 tiered and pleated, navy ombre-inspired frock that was perhaps one shade too see-through. Gold metallic sandals provided a spirited contrast, but the baby-blue edged purse had no business here.

Joan Smalls: This Tom Ford scoop-neck LBD was sliced and diced with side cutouts and slits galore. She completed the skin-baring look with black Givenchy heels and a Rauwolf clutch.

Alicia Keys, Madonna & Joan Smalls In Givenchy – 9th Annual Keep A Child Alive Black Ball

Alicia Keys, Madonna & Joan Smalls In Givenchy - 9th Annual Keep A Child Alive Black Ball

The Keep A Child Alive Annual Black Ball held at Hammerstein Ballroom on Thursday (October 30) in New York City turned out to be something of a Givenchy-fest.

Alicia Keys: The pregnant host, who looks ready to pop any day soon, looked divine wearing a sumptuous black satin off-the-shoulder empire-waist Givenchy Couture gown with shimmering silver straps custom made by Riccardo Tisci, who was also in attendance at this charitable event. Matching silver and onyx drop earrings and silver bracelets accessorized her look, with a pop of pink to the lips providing the finishing touch.

Madonna: The queen of pop was in the house, donning a corseted black frock with a delicate black lace skirt from Givenchy’s Spring 2015 collection styled with her signature crucifix, lace gloves, and leather boots which it took three people to help her get into.

Joan Smalls: While brown might not be our favourite red carpet colour, who can argue that Joan Smalls doesn’t look stunning in her Givenchy Spring 2015 keyhole gown with a smattering of shimmering embellishments? Factor in that dark-berry lip and you have me at her feet saying “We are not worthy”. What a goddess.

Joan Smalls In Fausto Puglisi – Fashion Rocks 2014

Joan Smalls In Fausto Puglisi - Fashion Rocks 2014

Joan Smalls attended Fashion Rocks 2014, presented by Three Lions Entertainment, at Barclays Center of Brooklyn on Tuesday (September 9) in New York City.

The model didn’t shy away from artsy, high-octane design in a Fausto Puglisi Fall 2014 mini dress with an exuberant collection of saturated, colour-blocked hues and bold, graphic prints.

She accessorized with a Lee Savage ‘Plane’ clutch and Giuseppe Zanotti black sandals, along with EF Collection, Vita Fede and Melissa Kaye jewels.

Did you miss the belt and the pink heels from the runway?

Joan Smalls In Proenza Schouler – Jennifer Fisher New York City Flagship Store Opening

Joan Smalls In Proenza Schouler - Jennifer Fisher New York City Flagship Store Opening

Before Fashion Week officially kicks off for Joan Smalls, she attended the Jennifer Fisher New York City flagship store opening on Wednesday (September 3) in New York City.

The statuesque beauty wore a Proenza Schouler Fall 2014 crimson, nude and black wood-grain print dress featuring a strategic cut to highlight her waist. The look was styled with simple black Givenchy sandals and jewels by the host.

While modelling clothes is her profession, I do love how her red carpet style can go from a pretty Monique Lhuillier strapless frock to a sexy Balmain mini, to a glamorous J. Mendel gown, to this edgy look. She has covered every angle in the past two weeks.

She really can do no wrong.

Joan Smalls In J. Mendel – FOX’s 2014 Emmy Award Nominee Celebration

Joan Smalls In J Mendel - FOX's 2014 Emmy Award Nominee Celebration

Before she spends a month on the road hitting four cities for the international fashion weeks, Joan Smalls is really letting her hair down in LA.

Following the MTV Video Music Awards, the model attended the FOX, 20th Century FOX Television, FX Networks and National Geographic Channel’s 2014 Emmy Awards party held at Vibiana on Monday (August 25) in Los Angeles, California.

Going from short to long, she looked stunning (when doesn’t she?) wearing a J. Mendel Fall 2014 noir and ruby floral and graphic macramé V-neck gown.

Styled with Alexander McQueen black sandals, EFFY bangles, a Casato Roma hand bracelet and a selection of rings, it’s those amethyst drop earrings which perfected this look for me, along with those glossy waves and her flawless makeup.

What a vision of absolute perfection.
