Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Blake Lively really makes me fall in love with her blue Adam silk double strap playsuit. It’s so cute, and sexy all at the same time.

Leg lengthening nude peep-toes, and a stack of bracelets complete the look.

Any other week she would be up for Best Dressed.

As would Jessica Stroup, in this equally cute and ultra-girly, Brian Reyes spaghetti strapped chiffon dress.

The dress has a layered silk chiffon skirt with frayed edges, and a contrast waist band.

I love her hair loosely pull back, in this summery youthful look.

Sergio Rossi clutch and Dolce & Gabbana champagne peep-toes, complete the look.

I like the long Jil Sander Spring 2009 blazer with shorts combo, but I can’t take Leighton Meester’s two-tone hair.

Is this hair colour for a role she is playing?

Because I refuse to believe she just wanted it this way.

Elle Macpherson shows off that body, which made her so famous, wearing a black strapless pencil dress, from Victoria Beckham’s Spring 2009 collection.

So Tyra Banks can tone down her look.

The TV presenter wore a slate grey Marley silk wrap jumpsuit, with a matching necklace, and a contrast elasticated belt.

On trend nude heels completed the look.

I prefer her as a honey blonde. Do you guys like this darker ‘do?

I have always envied Jessica Szohr’s luscious thick hair.

The Gossip Girl actress, wore a blue off-the-shoulder Rebecca Taylor Spring 2009 dress with studded details, which matched with covetable silver sandals.

Va va va voom. AnnaLynne McCord is purring in her Dolce & Gabbana satin bustier dress.

This kind of dress would have surely got her noticed, as it accentuate her femme curves.

She kept it super sexy with strappy sandals.

Taylor Momsen is such a pretty girl, I wish she wore opt for much softer make-up.

She still channeling biker/rock girl chic, wearing a leather look plus a floral Rag & Bone silk tank and strappy sandals.

Ashlee Simpson channels funky secretary chic, with her 2 in 1 black and white combo dress.

A large necklace and black and pink Lanvin patent pumps with pink bow details complete the look.

Jessica Stroup wore a cute white paillette covered Ferretti dress, adding an edge with a black ribbon tied around her neck, and black booties.

Very interesting accents.

Nicky Hilton also added a slight edge to her bohemian Philosophy di Alberta Ferretti Aztec paisley dress, with an olive green Matthew Williamson for H&M cropped leather jacket, and snakeskin platform heels.

For a red carpet newbie, Lynn Collins is making a very impressive impact.

I won’t pretend I’m crazy about her shoe choice. A nude heel would have been my preference to compliment the nude layers on her Philosophy Di Alberta Ferretti silk chiffon tiered dress.

Marisa Tomei looks like she was having fun at this event, wearing a gorgeous turquoise embroidered Alberta Ferretti pocketed mini dress, with equally gorgeous ivory heels.

Quite frankly, I’m lusting after the whole look.

Angie Harmon wore a flapper style Alberta Ferretti Spring 2009 dress.

Her dress had an orange underlay, with a fringed web-like black overlay.

She’s had better appearances on the red carpet. I would’ve liked to seen her in something that had more of a Spring-like feel to it, like the other attendees.

Jessica Stroup attended the Badgley Mischka Fall 2009 show during New York Fashion Week, wearing a white sweet-heart necklined modified version the Pre-Fall 2009 gown, with a feathered skirt, and jeweled bodice.

Desperate Housewives actress Eva Longoria, also opted for a modified version, when she arrived at the premiere of The Perfect Game during the Guadalajara International Film Festival in Mexico.

Eva’s hair and shoes really let her down, in a cheesy prom queen kinda of way. Jessica’s neater, shorter hemline is more complimentary, and overall the dress is a better style fit, so she wins this for me.

“The Informers” Los Angeles Premiere

I really like Jessica Stroup. She always looks great on the red carpet, and I don’t feel like she’s trying too hard.

Last night she was all zipped up in her Elise Øverland Fall 2009 teal satin mini dress, which she wore with Camilla Skovgaard peep-toe, cut-out booties.

She’s still got it.

Kim Basinger has obviously been drinking out of the same fountain of youth, as Iman and Demi Moore.

The actress wore a simple Hugo Boss black pant suit, but it’s her hair and make-up that wow me.

Grey Gardens LA Premiere

Ali Larter wore a very deep plunging navy embellished Brian Reyes Spring 2009 dress.

I love the dress and matching satin heels, but why the waiter tuxedo jacket?

Jessica Lange looked delightful in a dress with a white crossover top, and a taupe skirt with stunning embellished details.

PaleyFest09 “Dollhouse” Premiere, LA

Eliza Dushku looks delightful in her Moschino Cheap and Chic Spring 2009 lilac sleeveless dress with crystal beading details.

Sexy, yet sophisticated.

The actress completes her look with YSL Tribute sandals.

10th Anniversary Scenarios USA Awards And Gala, New York

Rosario Dawson matches her Bottega Veneta Pre-Fall 2009 maroon belted dress, with large earrings for this colour co-ordinated look.

I wouldn’t have worn the boots, but she makes them work.

“Tyson” Los Angeles Premiere

I’m loving Elise Neal bangs. I’ve always wanted blunt bangs, but I always change my mind once in the stylist chair.

Elise wore her champagne satin tiered embellished dress, under a black satin blazer. She complimented her look with animal print heels.

Alani “Lala” Vazquez wore a short, but very chic Stella McCartney Spring 2009 strapless white dress, which had a draped detail on the skirt.

I love the multi-coloured diamante clutch, but her dress is a wardrobe malfunction waiting to happen. She should have hoisted it up a bit more.

Bergdorf Goodman’s Party for Bottega Veneta, New York

Julianna Moore wore a black asymmetrical dress from Bottega Veneta’s Fall 2009 collection, which had a large ruffle going down one side. Booties and a black clutch from the same collection complete the look.

Rosario Dawson opted for a lighter Spring look, wearing a mellow yellow Bottega Veneta Spring 2009 dress. A metallic clutch and strappy sandals completed the look.

Chanel Iman wore a black leather Bottega Veneta dress, whilst her fellow catwalker Arlenis Sosa, wore the same dress and carried the same clutch walked the Spring 2009 runway show in coincidentally.

This weekend Jessica Stroup attended the Paleyfest09 90210 event at the Paley Center For Media in LA.

With her brunette wavy hair, she looked gorgeous wearing a cute black See by Chloé cocktail dress.

This beautiful dress features a vintage-inspired scarf tie at the shoulder, while the soft lace bodice and silk taffeta skirt creates a party-ready look.

You can own this dress by purchasing it from Shopbop.com for $535, or Urban Outfitters for £308.

Jessica kept the Chloé theme going, with a pair of Chloé scalloped leather pumps.

The scalloped detailing was heavily featured in the main collection, and really adds character to these peep-toes.

You can purchase them from Net-A-Porter’s US site for $595, or the international site for £318/€370.
