Jessica Stam In Chloé – Joe Fresh Flagship Store Opening

My first reaction to this dark-haired beauty was, “Who is this?”

On closer inspection I realised that it is Jessica Stam.

The model who temporarily dyed her blonde hair black for a recent photoshoot attended the Joe Fresh Flagship Store opening in New York City yesterday evening.

Dressed in spring colours, the model wore a Chloe Spring 2012 striped, pleated dress.

She opted to wear the dress with a cream cropped wool jacket, the runway belt and matching ankle-strap pumps.

It would’ve been tempting for Jessica to opt for an edgy or gothic look with this darker hair colour, but I’m glad she kept her look ultra girlie.

CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Awards Red Carpet Round Up

Coco Rocha: The model wore a Suno Fall 2011 dress. For someone who wore a gown to the H&M for Versace fashion show, this look is very casual for a Vogue-hosted fashion awards ceremony. The dress is alright, but the styling is hideous.

LaLa Anthony: The TV personality wore a Zac Posen Pre-Fall 2011 aqua dress. Her striking dress has a laser-cut detail on the hemline and a plunging neckline. I love her accessories, especially her multi-coloured clutch.

Tory Burch: Despite having a selection of gorgeous looks to pick from her own collections, Tory wore a Christopher Kane Kirsi wool-crepe dress from the Fall 2011 collection. The dress, with a scalloped green and blue gel-filled PVC collar, pocket trims and ruched sheer tulle yoke, was teamed with simple black ankle strap pumps and a matching clutch.

Jessica Stam: The supermodel added a gorgeous statement necklace to add a punch to her sexy Boy. by Band of Outsider Resort 2012 suit. Her tuxedo jacket with leather lapels was paired with black tapered pants and black patent ankle-strap Louboutins.

Models @ The Met

Naomi Campbell wore an Alexander McQueen white Heraldic crystal embroidered tulle dress.

I love the boldness of this dress. It’s strong but light and airy at the same time.

An Alexander McQueen silver metal skull clutch completed her look.

Karolina Kurkova looks STUNNING in this black and white Jean Paul Gaultier Couture gown.

Karolina and Christina Ricci got the McQueen memo.

Models @ The Met 2010

As I’ve come to the end of the Met gala coverage, I have to include the models.

Coco Rocha shut it down last night.

She blew all the other models out of the water. Almost literally in her marine-like Zac Posen Spring 2008 gown with a train which I think was about 20 ft long.

I pity the fool who stepped on that train.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley wore a custom made nude tulle ruched ribbon Burberry belted gown.

Her look was paired with a Burberry clutch.

Hilary Rhoda wore a black and red satin Prabal Gurung Fall 2010 dress with pleated bodice.

I would’ve love this look more without the Cartier necklace.

Ivanka Trump jewels and Christian Louboutin Madame Butterfly booty sandals complete the look.

Now this is what you call a princess ballgown.

Doutzen Kroes’ Zac Posen gown has a voluminous tulle skirt and delicate sleeves.

She pitched this just right. Jewels, make-up, hair, everything was perfection.

Karolina Kurkova was one of my favourite models at this event wearing and white Altuzarra Spring 2010 dress with a gold superhero panel on the bodice.

Jessica Stam opted for a uber chic plum Rachel Roy Fall 2010 gown which she wore with a long gold chain with a large pendant.

I was so excited to hear that Gisele Bundchen was going to wear Versace, so I was bitterly disappointed she arrived in this wannabe rock chic Alexander Wang dress.

I don’t like this dark look on her at all.

Natasha Poly wore a Michael Kors camel silk gown.

Chanel Iman also wore Michael Kors, but opted for a gold lame jumpsuit.

Karlie Kloss looks breath-taking in Donna Karan, but I just can’t get excited about Lily Donaldson’s Marc Jacobs Fall 2010 look.  It’s not glamorous enough for my tastes.
