2010 White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner – Jessica Simpson In Carolina Herrera

Jessica Simpson much like Kim Kardashian was a surprise guest at the White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner in Washington DC last night.

I would’ve loved to have seen her wearing a gown – as I’m struggling to remember the last time I saw her in a gown – but she’s much improved in her Carolina Herrera Pre-Fall 2010 dress.

She looks really beautiful in her dandelion yellow dress with an asymmetrical neckline.

The dress is more flattering than previous red carpet looks, and her accessories are complementary.

As much as I’m over YSL Trib Two’s, I do sigh with lust in my eyes every time I see those nude heels in Harrods.

Runway To LAX – Jessica Simpson In Stella McCartney

Now this is much better from Jessica Simpson.

The singer was spotted at LAX yesterday wearing a Stella McCartney floral dress from the Spring 2010 collection.

She’s not quite shutting it down like the model, but at least she’s wearing a dress which flatters her shape – something she’s hasn’t managed to do in a while.

The look is paired with grey sandals, a grey leather jacket and a white Derek Lam bucket bag.

I love how when the sun comes out everyone turns to Stella McCartney.

Runway To JFK – Jessica Simpson In Dries Van Noten

Yesterday Jessica Simpson was spotted leaving JFK airport as she attempted to trick photographers by leaving through a secret exit.

I gotta say I was really surprised to see her wearing a Dries Van Noten chain print top which we saw presented as a dress in the Spring 2010 collection.

Hopefully I don’t sound too snobby when I say that I’m surprised she was aware of the brand, but then one doesn’t need to be aware of a brand to purchase a piece from it.

I really love this print and simply adored this collection, but I hate how Jessica has styled it.

She’s worn the Dries Van Noten shirt over a grey tank dress, which she paired with black gladiators and a Dior quilted bag.

Good Housekeeping 125th Anniversary Party – Jessica Simpson In Matthew Williamson

Jessica Simpson walked the red carpet at the “Good Housekeeping 125th Anniversary party” in New York last night.

The singer continues to struggle to find a style to suit her sexy curves.

She’s tried the L’Wren Scott pencil dress look, which failed miserably, now she’s trying a short, strapless and sassy approach which fails also.

The problem is she is way too busty for this Matthew Williamson bustier dress.

The geometric print dress has a cute tulip shaped skirt, a fitted tailored waist and folded bustier detail. All the right ingredients for a cute dress.

Jesscia has great legs and great boobs. She really needs to embrace her new body and find a look that flatters it.

Whoever is currently styling is doing her a huge injustice, but to be honest Jessica should’ve took one look in the mirror and said “NO” to her stylist.

Her dress is paired with Fendi Cinderella platform heels.

Runway To “Good Morning America” – Jessica Simpson In Giambattista Valli

Jessica Simpson appears to be going for a more sophisticated look to promote her new show, ‘The Price of Beauty’.

We’ve seen her wear L’Wren Scott and Dolce & Gabbana, and for her appearance on “Good Morning America” yesterday she wore a Giambattista Valli silk dress.

Giambattista Valli is definitely the way to go to achieve chic sophisticated dressing.

Her striking red Giambattista Valli Resort 2010 dress hugs those curves she’s so very proud of. It has a deep v back and bow details on the sleeves.

The singer paired her dress with burgundy YSL Trib Two’s and a hot red lippie.

She seems to like this calf length – as seen with her L’Wren Scott dress – so we better get used to it.

What do you think of Jessica’s new look?

Is it a step in the right direction, or should she stick to her mom jeans?

Runway To “The Late Show with David Letterman” – Jessica Simpson In L’Wren Scott

Jessica Simpson arrived at the Ed Sullivan Theater in New York City to appear on the ‘Late Show with David Letterman’ to promote her new show, ‘The Price of Beauty’.

The singer wore the same L’Wren Scott Spring 2010 fuschia lace dress which Reese Witherspoon wore last year.

Reese had the good sense to shorten the dress as she’s not as tall as the model to carry off this length, but Jessica didn’t.

As a result the dress sits at a very awkward length.

Taking the dress up a few inches would’ve made a whole lot of difference.

She added a black sash to nip her in at the waist separating the top half of the dress from the bottom, which I thought was a great touch as she’s a busty girl.

The black pumps did work for me on this occasion.

In the interview Letterman of course asks her about John Mayer Playboy interview to which she replies, “Normally you’d think someone you care about would keep those intimate details to himself,” she said. “It was definitely a compliment, in a way. I don’t really want people to know that about me. I’m like the good girl, then that happened.”
