Jessica Chastain In Preen – Bulgari Cocktail Party

Jessica Chastain In Preen - Bulgari Cocktail Party

Before taking to the red carpet for the closing ceremony of the 16th Shanghai Film Festival, Jessica Chastain was guest of honour at Bulgari’s cocktail party to celebrate the opening of its 26th boutique at Shanghai L’Avenue Mall in Shanghai, China last week.

The actress wore earrings and a bracelet from Bulgari’s High Jewellery collection with her electric-blue Preen dress with a fit-and-flare silhouette, pleated skirt and v-neckline.

Her yellow Christian Louboutin Mary Janes topped off this look perfectly, as my favourite combination has always been yellow and blue.

Jessica Chastain In Lanvin – 16th Shanghai Film Festival Closing Ceremony

Jessica Chastain In Lanvin - 16th Shanghai International Film Festival Closing Ceremony

Jessica Chastain worked the red carpet to her advantage at the 16th Shanghai International Film Festival’s closing ceremony yesterday at Shanghai Culture Square in China.

The actress glided around in a teal-blue, crisscross halter-neck gown by Lanvin, as she showed off the thigh-high split that injected a slice of sultriness into this glossy old-Hollywood-glam design showcasing her metallic Jimmy Choo ‘Suki’ sandals.

With a brooch at the bust and matching embellishment at the gathered waist, the silky dress came equipped with built-in jewels.

Only a sparkling bracelet was added to enhance the shine quotient, and a red lippie took care of the sizzle factor.

While Jessica’s flame-haired locks will forever complement any shade of blue, this dramatic look was begging for an updo. Her waves competed with the bodice of the gown on this occasion.

Jessica Chastain In Lanvin – The Fashion Institute of Technology Gala 2013

Jessica Chastain In Lanvin - The Fashion Institute of Technology Gala 2013

Jessica Chastain attended The Fashion Institute of Technology Gala 2013 held at Cipriani in New York City on Monday evening.

The actress, who doesn’t appear to fear switching it up, wore a Lanvin Resort 2014 one-sleeve asymmetrical gold lamé dress on this occasion.

It’s not quite the norm when we think about Jessica’s style; however, had she selected something predictable, we would’ve accused her of being boring.

The colour is beautiful against her pale skin and red hair, and I love the addition of the Lanvin gold lacquered wood and bronzed metal clutch with resin art deco clasp plus the coral lip colour. The Lanvin black pumps don’t get any love, you won’t be surprised to know.

Do you like this sexier look from Jessica, or do you believe the dress got lost in transit while en route to JLo?

I can’t believe I forgot to mention the rare sighting of a clutch held by Jessica.

Jessica Chastain In Givenchy – 2013 CFDA Fashion Awards

Jessica Chastain In Givenchy - 2013 CFDA Fashion Awards

Following her appearance at the Chime for Change concert in London on Saturday, Jessica Chastian attended the 2013 CFDA Fashion Awards in New York on Monday night on the arm of Riccardo Tisci.

The red haired beauty and apparent muse of the Italian born designer wore yet another custom Givenchy creation.

After wowing us at Cannes in breathtaking gowns, she opted for a more subdued black strapless knee-length corduroy frock with a chiffon detail draped on the front and back, which she styled with Givenchy black sandals.
A colourful cuff, flawless makeup and a swept up ‘do completed her look.

Do you love the simplicity of this look like I do, or is this a Cannes come down?

Blake Lively, Freida Pinto, Jessica Chastain and More In Gucci – ‘Chime For Change: The Sound Of Change Live’ Concert

Chime For Change The Sound Of Change Live 2

Gucci’s new global campaign saw some of the world’s most celebrated artists come together today at London’s Twickenham stadium for the ‘Chime For Change: The Sound Of Change Live’ concert event which is aimed to raise funds and awareness for girls’ and women’s issues globally.

The royal box and media room saw many of Gucci’s brand ambassadors from around the world together to support this worthy cause.

Blake Lively: With an arm stacked full of Lorraine Schwartz colourful bracelets and hot-pink Christian Louboutin pumps with a gold toe-cap, Mrs Reynolds opted to wear a stark white mini Gucci frock with a cape. Her hairstyle is the one thing preventing me from loving this look from head-to-toe.

Freida Pinto: With a touch of Saturday Night Fever; the Indian actress opted for a tailored white Gucci suit with black lapels styled with Gucci accessories including a bright-bit coral clutch.

Jessica Chastain: The actress, who was co-presenting with James Franco, wore a black Gucci Fall 2013 frock with a lace yoke, which was shorter than the same look that took to the runway. Adding an edge to her frock, she wore spiked Christian Louboutin ‘Pigalle’ pumps.

Best Dressed Of The Week – Nicole Kidman In Valentino Couture and Jesscia Chastain In Givenchy Couture

BDOTW Nicole & Jessica

Nicole Kidman was your clear winner for Best Dressed this week, wearing a Valentino Couture gown during Cannes Film Festival.

It was just one of many gowns worn by the Australian actress which swept us off our feet during the 12-day festival.

My pick was Jessica Chastain in Givenchy Couture. It was such an unexpected, bold choice for the usually reserved star. On a post of mostly neutral-coloured gowns, she really stood out.

BDOTW Men Tom & Jeremy

When it comes to men, our choices also greatly differed. You opted for the charming Tom Hiddleston in Alexander McQueen, while I selected Jeremy Renner in Lanvin.

While there isn’t much between them, for me the satin lapels and white pocket square added that much more refinement to Jeremy’s look to help me with my choice.
