Molly’s Game Q & A With Jessica Chastain (in Louis Vuitton)

Following the official photocall, Jessica Chastain attended a Q&A for Molly’s Game at the Event Cinemas George Street today (January 30) in Sydney, Australia.

At present, when we think of Louis Vuitton, brocade frock coats, ruffled dresses and leather harnesses spring to mind, yet none appear within Jessica’s look.

Just a simple chain accents this column blue dress which is so simple in its design, it’s almost hard to believe it is Louis Vuitton.

If the style fails to excite, I have no doubt you’ll be mesmerized by this bold blue hue and those lushes red waves.

Jessica Chastain In Preen Line – ‘Molly’s Game’ Sydney Photocall

Jessica Chastain basked in the sunshine at the ‘Molly’s Game’ Sydney photocall on Monday (January 29).

The old idea was that redheads shouldn’t wear red, but the actress’s Preen Line Resort 2018 dress demonstrates why they definitely should.

The rich hue complements her ginger locks and pale complexion in a way that enhances her Pre-Raphaelite beauty.

Some might find the knitted piece too simple, but it has a polished breeziness that matches her picture-perfect surroundings.

The frock also has drama in the back with the gentle ruffle at the waist mirroring the diagonal hem we can see from this angle.

Jessica Chastain In Vionnet – 2018 Critics’ Choice Awards

Jessica Chastain attended the 2018 Critics’ Choice Awards on Thursday (January 11) in Santa Monica, California, as a Best Actress nominee.

Now, there has been an air of discontent when it comes to Jessica’s red carpet style of late, with many believing that she can do so much better.

Bold colours is what her red carpet style was built on, so I was delighted to see her wearing this Vionnet Spring 2018 emerald green halter gown.

The mood is effortless and carefree. I sense that she really loved the gown.

My feeling is that some will take issue with the keyhole, but she looks radiant to me.

Red hair and a green dress has always been a winning formula.

The Inaugural Los Angeles Online Film Critics Society Award Ceremony

Celebrities stepped out at The Inaugural Los Angeles Online Film Critics Society Award Ceremony on Wednesday (January 10) in Los Angeles.

Sally Hawkins: The ‘Paddington 2’ actress has made a number of chic appearances this week. This Romona Keveza Fall 2017 ensemble continues the trend. The way the gold accessories play off the textured pewter fabric has a chic opulence. Had the shoes been gold, it would have been too much. The black pumps were the perfect finish.

Jessica Chastain: The ‘Molly’s Game’ star sported a similar chic sheath from Ralph Lauren Collection, but opted for a striking red one which played off her ginger locks. It’s a quieter look so it might not be as memorable, but it still oozes sophistication with the fit being immaculate.

Jessica Chastain In Armani Prive – 2018 Golden Globe Awards

Jessica Chastain has had a string of fashion hits so I was very much looking forward to seeing what she was going to wear to the 2018 Golden Globe Awards on Sunday (January 7) in Beverly Hills, California.

The ‘Molly’s Game’ actress wore an Armani Privé gown where the magic was in the details.

What appeared to be a black velvet halter dress broke at the sides to reveal a diamante-encrusted bodice.

Piaget jewels added even more sparkle to the look.

Red lipstick and soft waves gave the outfit an Old Hollywood feeling.

The BAFTA Los Angeles Tea Party

There were many more stars in attendance at the BAFTA Los Angeles Tea Party, joining Diane Kruger on Saturday (January 6).

Michelle Williams: As we might have predicted, the actress was dressed in a Louis Vuitton design—this one a basic variation on a sheath dress with a graphic pattern to add visual interest.

Issa Rae: Continuing her sunny-yellow mood from the 2018 AFI Awards, Issa donned a Rosie Assoulin Spring 2018 frock that featured a sense of girly playfulness in the oversized ruffle detail. With Monica Vinader jewels to round out the look, she kept the styling simple and sleek this time around.

Emma Watson: Emma debuted a short set of bangs that had a certain Sofia Boutella influence to go with her Osman Resort 2018 ensemble. The sharp look prominently celebrated the menswear trend, with Susi Studio loafers contributing to that theme.

Sticking with Givenchy, Jessica Chastain joined Gal Gadot for Variety’s Creative Impact Awards and 10 Directors to Watch Brunch during the Palm Springs International Film Festival on Wednesday (January 3) in California.

The relaxed yet polished look is designed with an asymmetric hem to transform a smart classic into a feminine daytime look.

You weren’t too enamoured by Jessica’s previous outing, but I’m confident she will blow us away on Sunday.
