Chloe Sevigny was definitely the poster girl for Miu Miu this weekend.

We saw her Spring 2010 look yesterday, this time she wore one of those plunging Miu Miu dress with a built in bra from the Fall 2009 collection.

As much as I like the dress, it’s not really working for me on Chloe.  The previous kooky look fitted her style more than this embellished dress.

Zoe Saldana opted for a colour-block dress from the same collection which doesn’t work either.

Surprisingly the only thing I like here are the berry tights.

I just wish she’d done more with her hair.  It looks very limp here.

Christina Ricci can do sassy and she can do demure.

The beautiful actress opted for a silver Prada dress with an embellished detail on the shoulder.

Ginnifer Goodwin is looks absolutely adorable in this ivory dress adorned with black rosette details.

Simple, but as always oh so chic.

We’re starting to notice a pattern forming with Jessica Alba.

Simple black - or in this case navy - dresses that neither excite, nor delight.

There is nothing wrong with going au natural, but there is a time and a place.

Note to Jessica Biel: the red carpet is not the place.

Please apply some make-up to warm you up a bit.

It bad enough that you are sucking the life out of this dress - which is your trademark - but please a bit of blusher next time.

I beg you.

Alberta Ferreti’s New Fragrance Launch, Madrid

Claudia Schiffer arrived at the launch of Alberta Ferretti’s new fragrance launch wearing a Alberta Ferretti colour-block dress from the designers Fall 2009 collection.

I’ve always loved the strong colour combinations from this collection, so I’m glad to see it finally on the red carpet.

Madeo Restaurant, LA

There are many rumours that Jessica Biel and Justin Timerblake have broken up.

No one will be more pleased than me, because I hope this will mean Jessica will get her sexy back.

Justin has been suppressing it for far too long.

Jessica was spotted leaving Madeo Restaurant in LA with Jennifer Garner this week wearing a black Chloe Resort 2010 blazer with sparkling lapels.

This is the most pizazz we have seen in Jessica in what feels like a decade, and she appears to be wearing make-up.

OK she’s wearing Roger Vivier flats, but she was wearing Louboutin’s to appear on Conan O’Brien’s show earlier that evening and we all know how they can pinch.

“The Blind Side” Nashville Premiere

After over accessorizing her Azzaro dress at the CMA Awards, Faith Hill kept her look simple at this premiere which she attended with her husband Tim McGraw.

The singer wore a J. Mendel Resort 2010 sand asymmetrical wrap dress with obi belt.

At first I thought she was wearing thigh-high boots, but she is actually wearing thick opaque tights with ankle boots.

Australian Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards 2009, Melbourne

Many of you have expressed your dislike of Louis Vuitton’s Cancan heels.

If you hated the front, just look at the back *shudders*

Delta Goodrem paired her gold boots with a beautiful peach mini dress.

What a waste of a perfectly good dress.

MALDEF’s 35th Annual Los Angeles Awards Gala, LA

Eva Longoria wore a beautiful electric blue short sleeved Ina Soltani dress with crystal stud details on the sleeve.

Her dress was paired with Christian Louboutin heels which I love.

Her look is nice enough, but that hairstyle ages her.  Ken Paves either makes her look too old, or too pageanty.

USA Today Hollywood Hero Awards Gala, LA

Ashley Judd looked fashionably chic at this event where she was honoured.

The brunette beauty shone wearing a Georges Hobeika black tiered and pleated cocktail dress paired with black peep-toes.

Molly Sims look chic in a LBD paired with Jimmy Choo heels, whilst Mandy Moore wore a polka dotted 3.1 Phillip Lim asymmetrical dress.

July 8th, 2009

It feels like I’ve been waiting for this moment for such a very long time. A Jessica Biel red carpet moment in which I have nothing bad to say.

She stunned me. Even her usually greasy hair is oil free.

The actress looked super-glam wearing a Louis Vuitton Resort 2010 ensemble including a navy blazer, an adorable white mini skirt with navy tulle appliqué, navy patent peep-toes and simple clutch.

I LOVE the runway accessories, but this is a great effort on Jessica’s part.

The one thing about this event which I would have expected is Spicy heels.  None of the celebs wore them to this event.

Jaime King wore this Louis Vuitton Spring 2009 beige dress with brown shoulders with a two-tone pair of heels.

This is the second time we’ve seen this dress on the red carpet and the second time it has failed to work for me, but I do love her gold LV limelight clutch though.

Emma Roberts paired her maroon gold trimmed Louis Vuitton tailored jacket with Current/Elliott studded jeans as she was seen exiting the party.

This is a perfect look for her. I’m glad she didn’t try one of the bigger, more ostentatious pieces which may have overwhelmed her.

Rashida Jones opted for a Louis Vuitton Pre-Fall 2009 LBD which is seriously missing some bling to brighten it up a little.

I love the poufy sleeves and those LV Fall 2009 heels.

Recently Leighton Meester was spotted on the Gossip Girls set wearing this very same Alice + Olivia floral halter dress.

The dress is now sold out, but not before actress Kat Dennings purchased it to wear at this prestigious event.

I love the bright aqua clutch, but the boring heels let her down.

No prizes for guessing why she’s not wearing Louis Vuitton.

2009 Fresh Air Fund Salute To American Heroes, New York

Michelle Williams wore a demure ivory one-shouldered 3.1 Phillip Lim dress, with an asymmetrical gold detailed bodice, which complimented her gold Jimmy Choo Frost mirrored leather sandals, and the trim of her YSL box clutch.

She looks divine in her heavenly dress.

Mariah Carey and Michelle are worlds apart, when it comes to dress sense.

After a few events in which Mariah stepped up her game, she kinda takes a few steps back in this white column Georges Chakra Couture gown.

The figure-hugging strapless gown, simple and beautiful, but that embroidered floral panel I really dislike, as it reveals her underwear.

Her gown is paired with Christian Louboutin Amelissa Platform Sandals.

“Star Trek” Press Conference And Photo Call, Mexico

Zoe Saldana’s ivory Bottega Veneta Fall 2009 leather dress, doesn’t have the same wow factor as so many of her other ‘Star Trek’ looks, but she still looks pretty damn fantastic.

I love how her hair is styled, and her natural make-up.

Brian Atwood black patent ‘Maniac’ pumps, complete this sophisticated look.

“The Hangover”, New York Screening

Molly Sims works a tailored look, pairing a Rag & Bone Spring 2009 metallic silver jacket, with cropped black trousers, and a white tank.

Sergio Rossi elasticated strappy ankle sandals, and a vintage necklace add more credit to this edgy look.

“Blood: The Last Vampire”, South Korea

Jeon Ji-Hyun really shouldn’t have worn thick black tights, with her cute white Chanel off-the-shoulder knit dress.

Talk about ruining a look.

Massimo Ferragamo Cocktail Party, New York

Lake Bell smolders in a red, high neck Salvatore Ferragamo Fall 2009 dress, with black accessories.

W Hotel Grand Opening, Florida

Blake Lively keeps her twins covered - for once I hear you say - wearing an angelic white ruched Christian Cota dress.

She looks great with her trademark wavy locks, and purple strappy sandals, which almost match the purple carpet.

LG Xenon Splash Pool Party, LA

Hayden Panettiere is still glowing with her perfect tan, and glossy hair.

The actress looks super-cute wearing a mint green chiffon dress, with strappy metallic sandals.

This look really shows off her softer side, with loose curls framing her face, and flawless natural make-up.

Dania Ramirez wears a Sunner “Florent” combo linen and cotton jumpsuit which I love, but I don’t like her choice of bubble gum pink heels with the look.

“Late Show With David Letterman”, New York

Jessica Biel goes for a low-key, yet still very feminine look, wearing a beige leather mini skirt, which she teamed with a silk navy cami.

She accessorized with an ornate Tom Binns ‘Dumont’ necklace, a Prada denim bag, and chunky Gucci Iman T-strap sandals.

Jessica Biel is not my favourite actress to walk the red carpet, but give credit were credit is due, she looks surprisingly good here.

She lost my faith after she toned down her look, after dating Justin Timberlake, but I really like this one-shoulder 3.1 Phillip Lim Fall 2009 print dress.

It really flatters her figure, I like the ruffled detail cascading down the front of the dress, plus I’m super glad she didn’t:

A. wear the dress as it was presented on the runway
B. wear black heels.

Instead she opted for a pair of Christian Louboutin snakeskin peep-toes.

Her hair is also looking good. She wore it in a loose low ponytail, with a sexy chic side part. Remember her Oscars greasy hair.

Huge improvements in all departments.

On Saturday she was seen out in SoHo with a friend and they had popped into a Phillip Lim store. No doubt to pick up her dress for last night, but Jessica also tried on a beige 3.1 Phillip Lim Linen jumpsuit.

Net-A-Porter have the same pocketed jumpsuit in gunmetal blue, with drawstring waist.

You can buy this from the Net-A-Porter US site for $450, or the international site for £390/€479. This jumpsuit is the epitome of urban chic. Layer it over a fave t-shirt or white cotton tank, slip into a pair of gladiator sandals and grab a large tote.

May 6th, 2009

Jessica Biel changed out of her Atelier Versace red flamenco-style gown for a more comfortable look, when she attend the Costumer Institute Gala after-party hosted by Marc Jacobs at the Monkey Bar in New York with Justin Timberlake.

The actress looked much better wearing a Marc Jacobs Fall 2009 velvet blue mini dress, with nude satin Louboutin heels and a matching clutch.

I personally love dress on her, and much prefer the velvet blue to the runway velvet chartreuse.

A change for the better.

The black part at the front, is just the lining peeking out as she got out of the car. It’s the best full front shot I could find.

After pulling out of the main event in support of uninvited Azzedine Alaia, Naomi Campbell made sure she attended the after-party.

She showed off her legs in an impossibly tiny Versace Fall 2009 plunging paillette
covered aqua dress.

May 5th, 2009

Madonna knows she looks bad in this Louis Vuitton Fall 2009 ensemble, but kudos to her for not seeming to give a damn that she will be on every worst dress list today.

If Marc Jacobs paid me her kind of money to be a campaign girl, I would show up to this event looking this ridiculous, bunny rabbit ears and all.

Actually, thinking about it, I wouldn’t.

As much as I admire Rihanna for trying something new, this Dolce & Gabbana Fall 2009 cropped pant suit, with voluminous shoulders doesn’t work for me.

Maybe I expected too much for her red carpet return.

When did being pregnancy become such a fashion crime?

Too much material has gone into covering Heidi Klum’s baby bump with this navy blue J.Mendel dress.

The cat’s out of the bag, why not show off the baby bump, in a tasteful way of course.

Oh Jessica Biel, I knew you wouldn’t let me down. Thank you for not ruining this moment by wearing something half decent, which would force me to say something nice about you.

She totally ruins this Atelier Versace Spring 2009 strapless rise and fall gown, with her cheap spray tan that looks like its started to wash out with the rain, I can’t quite decide who looks worst, Jessica or that Clark Kent wannabee on your arm.

Sorry you lose.

Woooo tan much

It looks like Victoria Beckham and Jessica Biel shared the same booth.

This cute polka dotted custom Marc Jacobs dress, may have worked for me, if it wasn’t for the unnecessary train. I’ve always hated trains on a short skirt.

She just can’t get this red carpet thing right.
