2010 MTV Movie Awards – Jessica Alba In Louise Goldin & Vanessa Hudgens In Jenny Packham

British Style Abroad Award
Jessica Alba wasn’t seen on the red carpet at the MTV Movie Awards held in LA last night.

I find it so annoying when celebs do this, because you either get a side shot like this or a podium covering their dresses.

Luckily we can see enough of Jessica’s Louise Goldin Fall 2010 look to full appreciate it.

A black sheer tank was paired with an asymmetrical Louise Goldin Fall 2010 belted skirt and sparking leggings.

The British designer had paired the look with an embellished jacket, but Jessica didn’t wear it.

Vanessa Hudgens also wore a British designer – Jenny Packham.

She opted for a flirty Spring 2010 flowing chiffon sweetheart babydoll dress which was the perfect look for the Disney actress.

The interesting detail is around the bodice with a blue and silver crystal detail and a tie at the front.

Diego Dolcini gold peep toe pumps with a heel embellishment complete the look.

It’s like night and day.

You couldn’t get two more contrasting looks.

2010 Met Costume Institute Gala – Vera Famiga, M.I.A. & Jessica Alba In Gap Gowns

Here is a look at the other Gap Gowns from the Met Costume Institute Gala last night.

Vera Famiga wore a Sophie Theallet baby blue off -the-shoulder dress with black ribbon trim.

I know a lot of you hated this dress, but I don’t think would’ve been too bad if the dress didn’t have those pom pom sleeves.

I love the colour on her.

Alexander Wang designed M.I.A.’s gown.

I think he totally understood the needs of his client by infusing drama into this ethnic sparkling gold embroidered dress over a strapless leather dress.

Too bad she wasn’t graceful enough to pull it off.

Who holds their clutch under their armpit?

Jessica Alba was simply outstanding in her Sophie Theallet rose silk bias gown with train.

I just love the black lining which peeks out from the neckline and train.

She was the Gap girl of the night, oozing style, grace and giving us old Hollywood sophistication.

2010 White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner – Jessica Alba In Marios Schwab

Jessica Alba was one of my favourites to walk the red carpet at the White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner in Washington DC last night.

The “Valentine’s Day” actress looked very sophisticated wearing a Marios Schwab Fall 2010 dress.

As well as a central split her black column dress had interesting details which included a peplum on the hips to help emphasis her waistline, and half-circle Swarovski stones embedded in the neckline.

With her hair pulled back the actress added a gold braclet and a matching Jimmy Choo ‘Tube’ clutch to complete her look.

Runway To Sidewalk – Jessica Alba In Jonathan Saunders

Happy Birthday to Jessica Alba who celebrated her birthday in New York yesterday, one day before mine.

The 29 year old actress dined out at the Vinegar Hill House restaurant in Brooklyn with her husband Cash Warren, before heading to an after party at the SL (Simyone Lounge).

She went from a boho look at the “The Killer Inside Me” New York premiere to an edgier look wearing a Jonathan Saunders Fall 2009 dress.

Her mini colour-block party dress had a gold and blue top half, with a green skirt.

The look was paired with a black leather biker jacket, black Kris Van Assche ankle boots and a black clutch.

She wore her look without the sparkly black turtleneck.

I would’ve loved to have seen this look without the biker jacket, but she looks fab anyway.

“The Killer Inside Me” New York Premiere – Jessica Alba In Chloé

Didn’t Jessica Alba recently cut her hair?

Well a long hair Jessica arrived on the red carpet for the Tribeca Film Festival screening of “The Killer Inside Me” in New York.

The actress opted for a floaty ethereal Chloé Spring 2010 dress.

Her romantic ivory dress with pleated embroidered layers is so beautiful.

The look was complete with statement necklaces, a sculptural gold cuff, tan strappy Marni sandals and a white studded clutch.

I like the way Jessica is mixing things up, going from edgy in Proenza Schouler to boho in Chloé.

On the red carpet Jessica saved Kate from what could have been a very embarrassing moment as a gush of wind caught Kate’s skirt.

Jess deserves a spot on the BDOTW poll.

Tod’s Beverly Hills Boutique Opening – Jessica Alba In Derek Lam

Jessica Alba opted for a different look at the Tod’s Beverly Hills Boutique Opening in LA last night.

The actress wore her Derek Lam leather panel dress from the Fall 2010 collection.

The dress with black leather lapels was worn without the print top presented on the runway.

I do like the look as Jessica wore it, but I hate those Derek Lam clogs. They almost totally ruin the look for me.

I really don’t want these clunky clogs to catch on.

Her look was paired with a black Tod’s clutch and a selection of gold bracelets.

This a good from the ankles up.
