"Frank Miller's Sin City: A Dame To Kill For" Press Line - Comic-Con International 2014Celebrity hairstylist Renato Campora worked with Jessica Alba for the ‘Sin City: A Dame To Kill For’ press line during Comic-Con International 2014 this weekend.

Renato said “When I saw Jessica’s outfit, I decided to do something modern, funky, and a little bit sexy. I also wanted to create a hairstyle that was easy for her to manage throughout the day.”

Here’s how to get the look.

Starting with wet hair, Renato created a part beginning at the top of her head, all the way down to the nape of her neck. On the left side, he sprayed John Frieda Spiral Style Spray Gel and created a flat braid (corn row) down this side from the front to the back of her head.

He made sure the braid ended underneath the loose hair from the right side and secured the end of the braid with a small rubber band.

Next, he applied Kerastase Résistance Spray Volumactive Volumizing Hair Spray to the right side of Jessica’s hair and blew it dry using a T3 Hair Dryer and a YS Park Round Brush.

He blew the hair forward in the front to give it volume and that cool side-swept look.

To finish, he ran through the hair with a T3 Flat Iron to give it that extra sleekness.

Jessica Alba In Elie Saab Couture - 2014 ESPY Awards

Skipping the red carpet, Jessica Alba was spotted backstage at the 2014 ESPY Awards held at Nokia Theatre L.A. Live on Wednesday (July 16) in Los Angeles, California.

Glowing from head to toe, the ‘Sin City’ actress blew me away in her vintage Elie Saab Spring 2006 Haute Couture gown (I really miss these types of dresses from the red carpet king).

Rendered in shimmering gold with an architectural neckline, she styled the look with Brian Atwood ‘Tamara’ silver mirrored sandals, jewels courtesy of Melissa Kaye Jewelry, and rings by Graziela Gems and Casato, which of course included an ear cuff.

Smoky eyes and a glossy lip rounded out her look.

Jessica Alba And Christopher Gavigan Celebrate The Launch Of The Honest Company At TargetCelebrity hairstylist Davy Newkirk worked with Jessica Alba to create her beachy waves for the launch of The Honest Company at Target.

First, Davy ran some Alterna Bamboo Smooth Kendi Oil through Jessica’s wet hair, then sprayed the roots with Alterna Bamboo Volume Spray before blow drying her hair using a diffuser.

Davy then curled random sections using a half inch curling iron, starting at the base of the hair and working down.

After curling, Davy ran his fingers through Jessica’s hair blowing it around with blow dryer to give it a more natural texture.

To finish off, Davy used a bit of John Masters Hair Texturizer on random pieces and ends.
