Jessica Alba In Andrew Gn – 2014 Baby2Baby Gala

Jessica Alba In Andrew Gn - 2014 Baby2Baby Gala

Jessica Alba attended the 2014 Baby2Baby Gala held at The Book Bindery on Saturday (November 8) in Culver City, California.

The actress looked so very heavenly in her Andrew Gn Spring 2014 gown featuring a gold leaf bodice and a tulle skirt which made her look like she was perched upon a fluffy white cloud.

She completed her look with gold accessories including Tiffany & Co jewels and a Brian Atwood ‘Lory’ clutch, with makeup set in a bronzed tone to provide the finishing touches.

What a truly magical fairytale moment this is.

Jessica Alba In Lela Rose – Mission Hills World Celebrity Pro-Am Press Conference

Jessica Alba In Lela Rose - Mission Hills World Celebrity Pro-Am Press Conference

Jessica Alba attended the press conference for the Mission Hills World Celebrity Pro-Am on Friday (October 25) in Haikou, China following the Mission Hills World Celebrity Pro-Am opening ceremony the day before.

On this occasion it was back to separates – chic separates, I am happy to report.

Selecting from the Lela Rose Spring 2015 collection again, this time she made the look her own, donning a black off-the-shoulder cut-out top with a monochrome black and white geometric-print maxi skirt.

I love the addition of the hot-red pumps as a delightful contrast. It’s good to see Jessica back on track so quickly following the short blip.

Jessica Alba In Emilio Pucci – Mission Hills World Celebrity Pro-Am Opening Ceremony

Jessica Alba In Emilio Pucci - Mission Hills World Celebrity Pro-Am Opening Ceremony

Still in Asia, Jessica Alba attended the Mission Hills World Celebrity Pro-Am opening ceremony held at Mission Hills – Huayi Brothers – Feng Xiaogang Movie Town on Friday (October 24) in Haikou, China.

After her last two two-piece outfits failed to excite, the actress opted for a sleek one-piece look from Emilio Pucci’s VIP collection.

The black wool jumpsuit with a crystal-embellished halter-neck is a much-improved look all round, especially when styled with complementary silver accessories including a Thale Blanc clutch and Giuseppe Zanotti mules.

I love the contemporary classic appeal she delivers with this look – do you?

Jessica Alba In Tanya Taylor – Seoul Fashion Week: Metrocity 2015 Spring/Summer Show

Jessica Alba In Tanya Taylor - Seoul Fashion Week Metrocity 2015 Spring Summer Show

Jessica Alba was the guest of honour at the Metrocity 2015 S/S Collection show as part of Seoul Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2015 held at DDP on Tuesday (October 21) in Seoul, South Korea.

The actress wore a look which marries a whimsical Tanya Taylor embellished red and white top with a contemporary leather pleated skirt.

Once again, the top and the bottom are not working for me, as the contrast is too stark. I would probably lose the top in this instance as it appears to be overly fussy compared to the sleeker nature of the rest of her look.

Mesh ankle-strap sandals and a chain-accented black bag completed her look.

Is this a mismatch or are you enjoying the contrasting nature of these pieces on this occasion?

Jessica Alba In Lela Rose – SELF Luncheon

Jessica Alba In Lela Rose - SELF Luncheon

Jessica Alba attended the SELF Luncheon on Tuesday (October 14) in Los Angeles, California.

The actress wore a two-piece Lela Rose Spring 2015 look consisting of an embellished trapeze top with a rose-pink ombre polka-dot skirt, which on paper I should love – but I don’t.

For me the pieces are nice but shouldn’t have been worn together.

Put the top with a great pair of black cropped high-waist cigarette pants or the skirt with a solid cami and either way I may have been on board.

I can see why she wore the runway look, as the model made it work – perhaps being taller enabled that.

Get The Look: Jessica Alba’s Global Citizen Festival Hair & Makeup

2014 Global Citizen Festival In Central Park To End Extreme Poverty By 2030 - VIP LoungeCelebrity makeup artist Quinn Murphy and celebrity hairstylist Rebekah Forecast worked with Jessica Alba for the 2014 Global Citizen Festival on Saturday (27 September).

Makeup artist Quinn Murphy shared the inspiration behind Jessica’s look: “To complement Jessica’s black Edun dress, I focused her look around black eyeliner while keeping the rest of the makeup bronze and warm. It was 80 degrees in Central Park so a sun-kissed coral look was unseasonably appropriate.”

Here’s how to get the look.
After prepping her skin with moisturizer, Quinn used Chanel Sheer Illuminating Base to create a smooth surface and add lasting power to the makeup. After applying RMS Beauty “Un” Cover-Up in Shade 44, Quinn next applied Armani Luminous Silk Foundation in #9 using a damp Beautyblender sponge.

Using the NARS Multiple in Vientiane, Quinn framed her face before applying the bronze cream on the edges of her face to create dimension – under the cheekbones, temples, and under the jawline.

Quinn applied the same NARS bronzer to the centre of her eyelids and blended it upward and out. Next, Estee Lauder Black Gel Eyeliner was applied along the top lash line, making the line thicker on the outer edges and giving it a flick for a cat-eye effect, before applying Armani Eyes to Kill Black Mascara on the top and bottom lashes.

Quinn then used NARS Powder Blush in Deep Throat on the apples of the cheeks before using NARS Powder Bronzer in Casino to subtly contour the cheekbones. It’s softer than a traditional taupe contour shade.

On her lips a sheer peachy-bronze lipstick that was Jessica’s own completed the look.

Rebekah Forecast also shared her inspiration: “My inspiration for Jessica’s hair was the music festival itself. Cool rock chic with a little bit of punk – hence the braid, giving the effect of a buzzed side. I also wanted a high pony to look young and effortless.”

Here’s how to get the look.

Rebekah began with wet hair, applying a volumizing spray at the roots to help create texture and volume. She blow dried the hair with a diffuser to keep the natural movement in the length and ends, but smoothed out the hairline.

Once the hair was dry, she sprayed the whole head with a small amount of dry shampoo to give a second-day feel. This also helps to get a good grip on the hair when pulling it into a high ponytail. She then used a brow mascara on the hair line to tame any flyaways.

Once the ponytail was secured, she sprayed a bit of thermal spray and used a flat iron to create irregular waves throughout the hair. The spray gave the hair great hold as she knew Jessica was going to be outside all day and touch ups would not be possible.
