Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Premiere Of Dimension Films' "Sin City: A Dame To Kill For" - Red CarpetCelebrity hairstylist Davy Newkirk worked with Jessica Alba for the LA premiere of ‘Sin City: A Dame to Kill For’.

“Jessica’s gorgeous, form-fitting, electric-blue Zac Posen dress had a classic silhouette, so I thought that glamorous rocker hair would be a great contrast” said Davy.

Here’s how to get the look.

Davy began by prepping Jessica’s wet hair with Honest Conditioning Mist, then sprayed Alterna Bamboo Beach Summer Ocean Waves Tousled Texture Spray throughout the hair and rough-dried it, utilizing the natural texture.

He then used a large round brush around her face and then created a centre part.

Next, he lightly brushed the hair with a Mason Pearson Brush and took a small amount of Alterna Bamboo Form Sculpting Clay and ran it through random pieces for added texture.

The look was finished off with a few sprays of Alterna Bamboo Anti-Humidity Spray.

Jessica Alba In Zac Posen - 'Sin City A Dame To Kill For' LA Premiere

Jessica Alba was the star attraction on the red carpet for the LA premiere of ‘Sin City: A Dame To Kill For’ held at TCL Chinese Theatre on Tuesday (August 19) in Hollywood, California, and she didn’t disappoint.

She looked beyond stunning wearing a Zac Posen Resort 2015 electric-blue strapless dress which had me drooling for several reasons: the impeccable fit, tailoring, the booty peplum and of course that colour. Be still my beating heart.

Styled with silver accessories including strappy Giuseppe Zanotti Design mules and a Lee Savage clutch, she added jewels from Chopard and Bvlgari.

Wavy tresses, glossy lips and kohl-rimmed eyes completed her jaw-dropping look.

Jessica Alba In Katharine Kidd & Chris Gelinas - 106 & Park & Watch What Happens Live

Jessica Alba had another busy day in New York City yesterday (August 13), where she continued her promotional efforts for her latest movie, ‘Sin City: A Dame to Kill For’, which hits theatres in the US on August 22.

’106 & Park’: Her first stop was at BET studio for a guest appearance on ’106 & Park’, where she opted for a Fall-like look which was in total contrast to the summery Antonio Berardi frock she wore the day before. This time she wore a Katharine Kidd Fall 2014 high-waist burgundy skirt paired with a black satin bustier, donning a smart satin-lapel The Kooples blazer to dial down the sexiness of the piece. Black satin Giuseppe Zanotti safety-pin sandals and Melinda Maria ‘Mattie’ pavé stud earrings completed her look.

‘Watch What Happens Live’: While making her way to a studio in New York City for her guest appearance on ‘Watch What Happens Live’, the actress donned another bustier, but this time she didn’t cover up, styling her Chris Gelinas Fall 2014 forest-green strapless bodysuit with wide-leg Max Mara trousers, giving the look a leg-lengthening visual impact. Gold accessories plus a black and white pouch completed her timeless sexy mid-evening look.

Jessica Alba In Antonio Berardi - Good Morning America

Jessica Alba was the definition of pretty-in-pink, as she made her way into the ABC Studios in New York City’s Times Square for an appearance on ‘Good Morning America’ on Tuesday (August 12).

Although she’s promoting her new movie, ‘Sin City: A Dame to Kill For,’ she was the very picture of darling femininity in her pretty-in-pink Antonio Berardi Resort 2015 dress.

She wore the pink-and-white print, silk-blend cloqué frock with a Melissa Kaye Jewelry ring and Vita Fede double cubo earrings, not to mention a flirty-fun high ponytail.

Bringing a spirited, ‘Sin City’ style edge to the pink sweetness, she strapped on silver metallic Brian Atwood ‘Tribeca’ platform sandals. While they proved to be quite the accent accessory—and the graphic clutch, too—I would have preferred both shoes and bag to be less statement and more streamlined with the dress.

She’s fresh off her win as Best Dressed of the Week. Has Jessica continued to impress with this look?

BDOTW

Despite Nina Dobrev leading for most of the weekend, Jessica Alba was your eventual winner of best dressed this week for her Houghton & Osman combo styled with a Christian Louboutin bag and lust-worthy Kotur heels.

Although she didn’t rank highly for you, Chloe Grace Moretz in her Simone Rocha look was my favourite. It was nice to see something different from the young actress. The look was edgy without being try hard.

Damon Wayans Jr. won best-dressed male for his super-sleek three-piece Dolce & Gabbana suit. I went with Daniel Radcliffe’s tonal navy Raf Simons look.

Jessica Alba In Houghton, Osman, Alice + Olivia & Max Mara - 'Sin City A Dame To Kill For' New York Promo Tour

Jessica Alba was back on the East Coast, showcasing her effortless style on the streets of Manhattan on Tuesday (August 5) while out promoting her latest movie, ‘Sin City: A Dame To Kill For’.

Look 1: First up, my favourite look: a heady mix of bright colours and prints. She donned a Houghton Fall 2014 black and white striped sleeveless crop top accented with black floral appliqués which complemented her drop-dead-gorgeous Kotur ‘Gilda’ black leaf and snakeskin sandals. But it’s the Osman Resort 2014 tangerine asymmetrical skirt which really steals the show here. The look was completed with a Christian Louboutin ‘Farida’ black and white snakeskin tote.

Look 2: Keeping the same Louboutin tote, Jessica’s second look further displayed her effortless chic style. She wore an Alice + Olivia ‘Richley’ blouse styled with a beautiful pair of Max Mara wide-leg trousers topped off with a lust-worthy Jennifer Fisher cuff. On second thoughts, this might just be my favourite of the two. They are both so top-to-toe perfect it’s hard to decide.

Can you pick a favourite?
